We found a couple of Walmart Pro Black Friday 2018 tool deals that you might be interested in.

Walmart Black Friday 2018 Tool Deals Tekton Torque Wrench and Socket Set

Tekton has become a strong mid-range brand of mechanics tools and hand tools. Here, Walmart is bundling together a Tekton 3/8″ Click-type torque wrench (model 24330), and a 3/8″ inch and metric 6pt socket set (model 13101).

It’s a good pairing, and you save $15.53 on the bundle. Shopping around, the same bundle will cost you a little more than $77 elsewhere.

Bundle Price: $61.72

Walmart Black Friday 2018 Tool Deals Knipex Round Nose Pliers

These Knipex 22 02 160 mini round nose pliers are on sale for $14. Round nose pliers are the kind of tool that you either know you need, or they look funny to you. They’re often used for bending wire loops, and I tend to use them for other things, such as rope and cord knotting. They also grip delicate wire and component leads without damaging them.

Walmart Black Friday 2018 Tool Deals Irwin Vise-Grip Pliers Set

Irwin Vise-Grip pliers offer a good balance between quality and value. Right now, you can buy this 8pc set for $60. If you could use most of the pliers styles and sizes, the set works out to be a good bargain.

Walmart Black Friday 2018 Tool Deals Porter Cable Reciprocating Saw Kit

This Porter Cable 20V Max cordless reciprocating saw bundle looks to be a good value, pairing the bare tool version of the saw with a 2-battery and charger starter kit.

$99 cordless reciprocating saw kits are hard to come by. Personally, I’d step up to a kit that offered a higher capacity battery pack, but that requires spending at least ~$30 more.

I’m not sure if the Law of Unintended Consequences applies here or just smart business but the Amazon price is a dead match on the Knipex I just now bought.

    File under “competition” is good?

It’s my understanding that Walmart and Amazon both have price-matching algorithms.

Except for the Tekton and Porter Cable deals, and maybe another exclusive Porter Cable deal I didn’t think was good enough to post about, Amazon has matched pretty much all of the Walmart deals I found.

Just left Meijer with several TekTon tools at 50% off. 4″ vise for $25, some wrench organizers for $5. Thinking I might go back for the letter/number stamping punch kit. only $10 after the sale.

better to buy now, ponder later 😀

Went for the Knipex. They have been around the ~$17 price for the last few weeks, but I was hoping the price would go even lower if there was a reason they were already selling so low. I don’t have any full-size round nose pliers and this will go with the rest of my Knipex comfort handle pliers and it will be nice to finally be able to make smooth round loops for electrical work.

Hard to believe there are still some left on Amazon on Black Friday.

The Knipex are now down to $13.30 on both Walmart and Amazon.

If you ordered from Walmart.com, you can get a price adjustment.

Now it’s down to just $13.00.

They must really have a surplus of these.
