Here’s a look at this year’s Acme Tools Black Friday 2020 “Jump Start” tool deals, featuring Dewalt, Milwaukee, and other notable tool brands.

The deals are valid now, while supplies last.

COVID-19 has pushed the holiday shopping season up by quite a bit, as retailers aim to avoid unnecessary surges in foot traffic. What this has led to are means more online tool deals, and they’re kicking off earlier in the season.

Discussion

Some of these tool deals are really good, but I get the feeling that this isn’t all we can expect for Black Friday 2020. Tune in for more.

As always, we’ll keep an eye out for any new deals, and there are also bound to be some unadvertised specials and promos.

For example, Acme Tools has a very good deal on select Milwaukee Packout tool boxes right now.

Check the ToolGuyd home page for our continued holiday season tool deal coverage or subscribe to our newsletter for daily emails. You can also follow us on social media for additional tool and tool deal-related content on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram.

Please let me know if you have any questions or deal requests!

Iam pretty sure the dewalt tough system was just 179 from acme during one of their 5 day’s sales they had for Halloween.

      That sounds familiar.

Home Depot will have it for $149. https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/home-depot-black-friday-2020-tool-deals/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E

It’s likely/possible Acme Tools will match that price once Home Depot’s deal pricing goes live.

They have some good Milwaukee Packout deals right now, and I was expected a little competition from Dewalt this year.

Been looking for a deal on the Milwaukee M18 18 gauge brad nailer (2746-20). Acme Tools is offering a free 8.0 Ah battery with the purchase of the nailer, which is $279. Seems like a good deal. Anyone know if a better deal on this nailer can be found?

Sometimes you can buy the kit from Home Depot and return the free battery for a prorated discount. They may have discontinued this, but it worked for me with a surge and the 6.0 Ah awhile back.

I got mine off OfferUp for $200, that battery seems worth more than $80, so if you want that battery or to sell it later, thats a pretty good deal. Plus its returnable so your not taking a chance on the secondary market.

I think that 5 tool M12 kit is mislabeled in their ad sheet and not really Fuel.

Is the M12 installation tool really good? I have a Ryobi 18v drill and a M12 hex screwdriver now. Would it replace those or be a worthwhile addition?

      Whoops, you’re right – thanks!

I caught one of the Dewalt combos not being brushless, but missed this one. Still a very good deal, and one that I’ve heard sells really well at other retailers every year.

I grabbed the $179 installation driver from home depot. It’s a nice tool; the changable heads swap out easily and lock securely. Definitely a specialty driver though. I wouldn’t want it as my only driver. With any of the attachments connected aside from the hex chuck, it’s a bit front heavy.

Get the Surge instead. The installation tool is decent but honestly (as much as I hate to admit it) the Festool equivalent is a better tool all-around.

But the Surge kicks both of them out of the park unless you need one of the weird heads.

Is the String trimmer/blower deal an error? The linked page does not show the free blower, but I did see on their site a pole saw/blower combo. If there is indeed a trimmer/blower deal, I’m interested! Thanks.

Maybe? It’s supposed to be 2825-21STB, but the site defaults to the string trimmer by itself. Out of stock?

There’s also a pole saw deal, and that one is in stock right now.

Huh the pole saw is back!

I love how that has five pictures of the blower and only one of the saw – though it doesn’t appear to come with any extensions.

12v Xtreme drill and impact drivers.

I’m thinking I’ll buy the separate battery/bag/tool kits from Acme for $99/ea, use the FALLSALE code to get $20 off, netting $178 and two more batteries than if I wait for the combo kit to go on sale to $150 like last year.
Then I need to add $21 of extras to the cart get that free shipping! lol

I see a lot of tools with inflated “previous” prices so they can put them “on sale” at a higher price than I’ve seen them available for only a couple months ago.

That happens, but it also depends on the tool and time of year. Some tools go on sale for Father’s Day and the winter holidays, and are priced higher in between.

There are good deals to have, you just have to know pricing history or competitive pricing. And if you don’t, myself and many regular commentors can help with that.
