Amazon’s Cyber Monday deals are kind of… meh right now. It’s nearly 3am, and their Lightning Deal schedule is up. There’s nothing really notable, but maybe something’s of interest to you.
It’s not that I don’t think the deals will be good, it’s that most of the brand names are unrecognizable to me.

Sorry if the featured post image was misleading, I didn’t know what else to put so I used an older Amazon Cyber Monday image. But to be fair, Amazon has had good sale pricing on drills!
Maybe when I wake up in a few hours the deals will be better.
They do have some random tools on sale, some at great bargains, some at only okay prices. I’ll try to sort these out for you.
You can find these deals here.

So, there you have it – a bunch of no-name tools, lots of no-name flashlights, and at most 5 deals I’d show any interest in checking in on.
As a consolation, most of the tool retailers that had good Black Friday deals also have Cyber Monday specials. Some of the deals simply carried through the weekend.
More Black Friday [Weekend] 2016 Deals
There are some more links at the top of the page. Home Depot’s tool deals are particularly good this year, if you ask me.
Update: I added in a few more deals that popped up, most notably the Magnet Pal which has been on my radar (8:05pm ET), and the Goldblatt level set (8:10pm ET). I reviewed one of their levels last year, and it’s been pretty good.

Amazon usually never has hot mainstream tool deals. Well they have occasionally but they are never on the big holiday shopping days they usually end up being some crazy weekday deal that I miss.
Flyer
It looks like they have some decent deals on the German made Irwin pliers.
fred
I’ve posted what flooded into my inbox this morning – over on the ToolGuyd Community Forum. I have no idea which, if any, of them are good deals.

I notice they’re still doing some “brand” sales like $10 off $50 Tekton and several Lisle items. But nothing spectacular and these aren’t necessarily Cyber Monday (although the filters suggested they are – they were there on BF too)
jimmie
How big of a detriment is the non-Starlock interface?
Josh
Just a heads up that the Metabo angle grinder is only 4-1/2″ instead of 14-1/2″ as stated above.
Corey
I jumped on that too lol I’d have bought that in a heartbeat
Stuart
Whoops! Sorry about that. Fixed!
The title had the RPMs, which I thought were less useful to mention than the size. I guess I didn’t fully delete the RPM spec.
Jeff
ACME tools has a coupon code for 20% off any one item until midnight. I bought the Milwaukee m18 fuel compound sliding mitre saw with two 9.0ah batteries and a charger model number 2734-21hdp for $479.20
Stuart
Yes! I posted about the Acme promo this morning: https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/acme-tools-20-off-one-item-for-cyber-monday-2016/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E

The Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals were pretty lame this year, aside from HDTVs and some tech deals. Which is perfectly fine with me, I saved a lot of money by not spending it.
Greg
I think that’s pretty much my thoughts as well. The funny thing is HD didn’t really have any “deal” for Black Friday that they hadn’t already rolled out a week or two in advance. At my local store there were a few things but that was it. Also Cyber Monday was just a continuation of that. I have to say too the amount of people out this year was nowhere near what it was last year.
Stuart
They had a couple of deals go live on Thanksgiving, and a few that first went out on Friday.
Some of the power tool deals are really good.
But mostly, yea, the deals have become predictable.
