American Flag-Inspired Lista Tool Storage Cabinet Design

Browsing around Lista’s new technician mobile tool storage site, I spotted this made-in-the-USA logo** that featured a cute American Flag-inspired design. I am currently most fond of Lista’s yellow, white, light blue, and white with light blue drawers cabinet color schemes, but this red-white-blue design definitely caught my eye!

To be honest, I have no idea what I will do if I ever save up enough to buy one for home shop use. There are so many pretty colors to choose from!

**Update: we’ve been asked to remove the logo that said “made in USA since 1968.”

Have been very please with Lista cabinets over many years of use – also have Stanley Vidmar in another shop

Which would you say you prefer more? I’ve used Vidmar and Lyon units at work in the past, but am only familiar with Lista based on their reputation.

Not sure – installed in 2 different type of shops. Lista in a metalworking/pipe fab shop – where we also have Rotabins for parts and the Vidmar stuff in a woodworking/cabinet shop. Both came with the shops

Where the hell are the stars? I’d be afraid of getting fingerprints on the flag er, box.

    Did they give any reason?

Yes, they did, and a new post will go up in a few days discussing it in more detail.

Basically, FTC guidelines changed recently, and since the steel Lista sources for their products is imported, the high proportion of foreign materials means that they can no longer say the products are made in the USA without risking potential trouble.
