Amprobe Deal: Spend $100 and Get a $20 Amazon Gift Card Plus Free Tools!

Amprobe Free Tools Summer 2015 Promo

I posted about 2 new Fluke Connect current clamp meters the other day, and a reader asked a tough question to answer. In looking for a current meter that would suit his needs, I came across two great Amprobe tool promos.

Amprobe is a Fluke daughter (or possibly sibling) company that also specializes in test and measurement tools and accessories. They offer clamp meters, digital multimeters, electrical testers, environmental meters, HVAC tools, wire tracers, and also power quality, insulation, and ground resistance testers.

Didn’t know that Amprobe and Fluke were owned by the same company? Check out our guide to corporate tool brand affiliations!

Over at Amazon, spend $100 or more on select Amprobe tools, and you get a free $20 Amazon gift card! Add this gift card to your cart, and you should see the discount at checkout.

The tools must be sold and shipped directly by Amazon, and the promo seems to be limited to the 245 items listed at the following link:

Shop Now(Eligible Amprobe Tools)

Expiration Date: Unknown

At that promo page, there’s a link to go to Amazon’s Amprobe Store. After clicking through, I saw a Get Free Tools promo banner image. It says that if you spend over $100 on qualifying Amprobe products, you can choose a free gift.

I couldn’t find the promised redemption form, but I did find online redemption instructions on Amprobe’s site. Here’s the PDF, or click on the link below for an online redemption option. After you send in the form online or by mail, and it’s successfully processed, your free tool choice will be shipped to you, by Amprobe. The free tool promo is offered by Amprobe, and not Amazon.

Eligible tools must be purchased from an authorized distributor (not just Amazon), by 8/31/2015, and you have up to 30 days to submit your free tool redemption form. There’s other fine print, so check out the aforementioned PDF link, or the online link below.

Did you already buy $100+ in Amprobe tools? This offer started 5/1/2015.

Spend $100 – $199.99 and choose between a free multi-tool or VP-440 non-contact voltage probe.

Spend $200 – $449.99 and choose between a free IR-710 infrared thermometer or AM-520 HVAC multimeter.

Spend $450 – $999.99 and choose between an AMP-210 Amprobe clamp meter, AM-570 industrial multimeter, or IR-720 infrared thermometer.

Spend $1,000+ and choose between an AMP-330 clamp meter, IR-750 infrared thermometer, or ACDC-52NAV clamp meter.

More Info(Free Tool Redemption via Amprobe)

Note: I am presuming that you can get the free Amazon gift card AND your choice of free bonus tools, since Amazon and Amprobe or running completely separate promotions. But I could be wrong. Caveat emptor.

Amprobe was a Long Island NY Company – when Long Island was a powerhouse in the aviation and electronics business. As you say they are now under the Danaher umbrella – who also owns Fluke and Tektronix. I’m guessing that Danaher probably moved them out of Long Island.

BTW – I took a look at the Amprobe web site – wherein they say that they invented the clamp-on ammeter with a patent issued to the inventor(s) in 1950.

I added the Amprobe AM-570 Industrial Digital Multimeter with True-RMS to my cart, and did not see the discount, am I doing something wrong?

It looks like the $20 discount offer might have expired.
