Amprobe is a Fluke daughter (or possibly sibling) company that also specializes in test and measurement tools and accessories. After you send in the form online or by mail, and it’s successfully processed, your free tool choice will be shipped to you, by Amprobe. The free tool promo is offered by Amprobe, and not Amazon.

Amprobe was a Long Island NY Company – when Long Island was a powerhouse in the aviation and electronics business. As you say they are now under the Danaher umbrella – who also owns Fluke and Tektronix. I’m guessing that Danaher probably moved them out of Long Island.

BTW – I took a look at the Amprobe web site – wherein they say that they invented the clamp-on ammeter with a patent issued to the inventor(s) in 1950.

I added the Amprobe AM-570 Industrial Digital Multimeter with True-RMS to my cart, and did not see the discount, am I doing something wrong?
