BatteriesPlus is expanding their Ni-Cd battery pack recall to include about 65,200 additional Ni-Cd and NiMH Rayovac-branded cordless tool battery packs. The packs are being recalled due to a potential explosion hazard.
Since the first recall there have been 3 new reports of exploding batteries, with one incident resulting in injury to a consumer’s finger.
