Anso Knives’ Barbar is a new super-compact multi-tool that features a prybar, bottle opener, and 1/4″ hex screwdriver bit wrench (bits not included). The Barbar is milled from solid .200″ titanium plate, and is available in several colors: bronze, blue, green, and natural Ti.

i’m not getting it. $85 for what ?

Titanium mini-tools can be pricey, but are appealing to both users and collectors. A tool like this will be lightweight and strong, and with artistic aspects.
High material and tooling costs mean they’re only made by individual tool and knife makers, such as Peter Atwood and Anso Knives.
For me, a stainless steel tool that is more featured or priced at a fraction of the cost will suffice until I win the lottery. But it doesn’t stop me from lusting after these Ti tools.
Blair
I agree with george, $85.00 for a bottle opener?, I can’t see a practical use for this thing, anymore than I would buy a major brand diamond encrusted cordless drill just for the bling! There are a host of tools that would do many more things, and for half the price as this abomination, seriously, pry bar? pry what? Sorry Stuart , I just don’t feel the need for this.
Gary
These are cheap compared the Atwood nonsense. Go over to Ebay and search for Atwood Tool or Atwood Knife.
This thing, which doesn’t have enough features for this price, is a bargain compared to “Planet Tool”.
Stuart
And that’s why it’s near impossible to buy Atwood tools these days – a lot of people buy them just to flip on ebay. They’re often listed as “unused, unopened…” with huge markups.

I am always amazed at people that will pay more for less
