The following are five tools that I never want to see hit the market, let alone designed or even conceived. But, seeing what’s on the market now, these ideas aren’t as far-fetched as they seem. Can you think of any others?

New Duo-Fast Compact 1-1/2″ Tico Nailer for Joist Hangers
We just got word that Duo-Fast Construction is coming out with a new compact pneumatic 1-1/2″ Tico nailer (DF150S-TC). The nailer is used to fatsen joist hangers into wood using Tico nails. Duo-Fast reps claim that the new nailer works be 3 times faster than hand nailing and twice as fast as palm nailing.
