Most retailers’ Black Friday 2015 tool deals and discounts are already live, and yet we’re still a few hours away from it being Friday.
I don’t think retailers even bothered with in-store DoorBusters this year, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t wait until tomorrow to order what you want or venture to your local store.
Home Depot has a couple of very appealing deals right now. But if one of these tools is on your wishlist, you might want to act fast. Some of these are online-only deals.

Dremel 4000 Series Rotary Tool Kit for $69
This set comes with a 4000 series rotary tool, which is one of Dremel’s best-ever designs, and it also comes with more useful attachments than I’ve seen in some sets. Some of them are staples, but you also get the detailer’s grip, which I had to buy separately for $15 (currently $10 at Amazon).

I think this is the best Dremel rotary tool starter set you could buy right now. It doesn’t come with a flex-shaft, though.
Amazon has a similar 4 attachment and 36 accessory rotary tool set, but with the newer 4200 series tool, for $99. It’s eligible for $25 off $125 savings, but the 4000-series kit is the better bargain if you’re looking for greatest bang for the buck.

Ridgid 10-inch Table Saw for $199
I briefly mentioned this table saw in our Black Friday table saw deals post, but it’s worth another mention. It’s rare to find a pro-branded table saw at the $200 price point. Even though this saw seems to be a holiday “special buy,” its past reviews were always fairly positive. It’s worth a look.
Ridgid 10-inch Table Saw with Stand for $299
Another Ridgid table saw is on sale, and it’s their larger stand-mounted one.
If you don’t care about whether a saw comes with a stand or not, the Dewalt DW745 is a very well regarded portable table saw at a similar $299 price point.

Leatherman Rev Multi-Tool For $20
The Leatherman Rev multi-tool is an entry-level model, but it’s also a Leatherman multi-tool for $20.
If you can spare an extra $10 and are shopping for yourself, definitely check out the Leatherman Skeletool holiday deal as well.

Bosch 10pc Spade Drill Bit Set for $10
I got burned on a different brand’s previous year’s spade drill bit holiday buy, but the deal on this Bosch Daredevil spade bit set almost makes up for that.
You get 10 sizes, from 1/4″ to 1-1/4″, for $10.

Ryobi 18V Airstrike Brad Nailer for $99
For the holidays, you can save $30 on Ryobi’s 18V Airstrike cordless brad nailer. Well, $35 if you include the above coupon code.
Sure, you could probably find an entry-level air compressor and brad nailer kit for the same price, but you’d have more noise and an air hose to have to wrangle.
Don’t forget that this is a bare tool kit that requires a separate battery and charger.
Milwaukee M12 Fuel Brushless Hammer Drill and Impact Driver Combo Kit for $179
It’s not often to find a Milwaukee M12 (or M18) Fuel tool kit discounted. This M12 brushless hammer drill and impact driver set comes with a standard charger, a compact battery pack, an XC battery pack, and a case.
If you don’t know why you’d buy this set of premium brushless compact tools, stick with the Milwaukee M18 drill and impact driver combo, which is on sale for $149.
Toolfreak
I’d say the Milwaukee M12 drill/hackzall combo for $99 (-$5 with coupon) is also a smoking hot deal.
I think I’ll wait and see if the Rev and the Bosch bit set wind up going on clearance after the holidays, but everything in this post is a pretty good buy even at the sale prices.

Thanks so much for the update. I was looking for a deal on the Ryobi Airstrike and didn’t see any until I read your blog this morning. Great deal and I just purchased one. Thanks again for keeping on top of the deals. Wonderful website!
Stuart
Thanks, and you’re welcome!

I ended up with the rigid table saw with stand. You cannot beat that, especially with their warranty. Could’ve picked up some tape measure sets but ended up holding off.
If you need to upgrade your table saw or don’t have one, you need this Rigid.
I also picked up the Skeletool a few weeks ago and ended up with the Rigid trim router with free sander(online only).
I’m impressed with Rigid. Always been a Milwaukee guy but I’ve converted some tools due to Milwaukees lack of wood working tools(seems to be changing though).
Rigid table saw, router, sander, and vacuums are now all rigid and not looking back.

Good price on the Bosch spade bits. Sold!

I picked up the Ryobi brad nailer and the Milwaukee Drill with hackzall.
I’m Debating on returning the Milwaukee drill / bluetooth speaker I bought for $89 a few weeks ago, I really don’t need two 3/8″ drills. I see people selling them on Ebay for like $25 without battery. I figure just having extra batteries and charger might be worth considering…
I wonder if the $199 Ridgid table saw can handle dado blades? I might go pick that up, seems decent for wood working…
Alos got the $49 Metal Detector… 😉
John A.
FYI, did some research, you can put a stack-able dado up to 3/4″ on the ridgid R4516 🙂

Home Depot by my shop didn’t have the skeletool and I’ve been in there twice a week for the last month. Picked up the rev this morning. No frills but you can tell its quality. I’ve had off brand multi tools in the past and you can tell how much better it is just by holding it
John A.
Just wondering if you asked anyone? I mean like, have them look it up on the computer(s).
I was at Lowe’s, only saw 2 of the Vacuums for $39, the when I asked, the guy looked it up on some sheet, we wandered towards the back, they had 25 of them up on the high shelves….
I once asked a guy about a Milwaukee deal at HD and he said, “ah nah man, we’re out of those, I then walked over to the customer service, they locate a bunch of them, again, not close to the tools area, up high on a shelf.
Also, don;t forget when looking online, click on the “check availability” for what ever store you choose.
Happy Holidays!!!

Buy the Leatherman! I’ve EDC’ed Leatherman muti tools for over 10 years, 2 in my pocket right now! I honestly would go without my phone before doing without a Leatherman.

That Dremel 4000 deal is pretty good and the included accessories are fairly useful. You can always add a flex shaft on for $20. In my experience, most of the accessories are unnecessary and aren’t frequently attached, but they’re nice to have.
The 4000 is the best model you can buy, so skip over the 4200 if you were considering that. It requires adapters to use several attachments, and I’m not even sure how you change the collet. I have a 4200 tool (bare) without any of the accessories or adapters, so I’m unfamiliar with all of that. I’m also stuck with the 1/8″ collet. The convenience of changing a bit without having to tighten the collet with a wrench isn’t really a game changer. Those EZ lock bits, on the other hand, are really nice since you don’t have to pull out a tiny screwdriver to change grinding discs and sanding bands. (Of course, those grinding discs cost a lot more but are FAR better than those thin ones that come in packs of 50, but they will last much longer.)
I will also be picking up that Bosch spade bit set today. I’ve wanted that ever since I passed up the last of their stock of the 13 piece set. The next time I went in, they were all gone. They were getting rid of them for some reason and the price went down to $16 at Home Depot. It is still sold on Amazon for $30. There was another Bosch spade bit set that replaced it, but it had a higher price, fewer bits, and no storage pouch. It doesn’t look like this 10 piece set has a pouch either, but regardless $10 is a smoking deal. I’ll just have to figure out how to store them nicely.
I also do not have a table saw, and am considering that $200 Ridgid one, especially if it’s been confirmed that it accepts dado blades (not that I’ll probably use that feature immediately, but options are nice.)
My brother had mentioned seeing a great deal on a hole saw set as well. I can’t remember if he said it was Lowes or Home Depot, but I’m thinking it was Lowes. He said it was $40. It was NOT the Milwaukee one, which he doesn’t want. Does anyone recall whether there is a (good) deal on any hole saw sets this season? I’d like to buy him one for Christmas, especially if it is heavily discounted right now.
