The best Milwaukee Packout deal of the year is ending soon, with huge discounts on a wide range of tool boxes, bags, organizers, and accessories.
This is a buy more, save more type of deal, with savings of $50 of $199+ orders, $90 off $299+, and $150 off $399+.
Some Milwaukee dealers offer Packout bundles, such as for their drawer tool boxes, and those are also included in this promo, offering stacked savings.

UPDATE 3/12/25: The deal is OVER at Home Depot, and Acme Tools’ countdown timer says it’ll end TODAY. Get your orders in or wait for the next promo.

Let’s say you want to build up a stack with the 4-drawer rolling tool box. I like to have these boxes for workshop storage, and have them stacked 2 or 3, usually on top of a Packout roller cart – which is also eligible for the same savings.
The 4-drawer Packout tool box retails for $199. If I want 2 more of them, that would be $398. If I don’t need any other boxes, such as an organizer, I’d look for a smaller valued filler – Home Depot has an eligible magnetic parts cup, and Acme has drawer dividers, for around $10.
So, that would be $408. $150 would come off at checkout, bringing the total down to $258 at checkout. Not including the filler, that would be $129 for each of the 4-drawer tool boxes, compared to their normal price of $199 each.
That reflects a whopping 35% discount.
Acme has a 2-drawer and 3-drawer bundle for $313. Add in a roller cart ($99), and the total comes out to $412. After the instant savings, your cart total should be $262 before checkout. The $150 off $399 discount is really good compared to even last year, where the maximum discount was $90 off $299.

With Packout, it’s unfortunately very easy for an order with tool boxes, organizers, tool bags, or accessories to reach $400.
For larger orders, plan out your combinations to yield the maximum savings.

Acme Drawer Tool Box Combo Bundles
If you want more than one of the 2-drawer or equal-size 3-drawer tool boxes, Acme’s 2-pack bundles will save you a little extra compared to buying them separately, and are also eligible for the buy more, save more (BMSM) discounts.
(*Prices are before discount, which will appear in the cart before checkout.)
- 2-Drawer Bundle ($298*, compared to $312 if purchased separately)
- (Save $14 + BMSM discount)
- 3-Drawer Bundle ($328*, compared to $358 if purchased separately)
- (Save $30 + BMSM discount)
- 2-Drawer and 3-Drawer ($313*, compared to $335 if purchased separately)
- (Save $22 + BMSM discount)
The 2-drawer tool box retails for $156 by itself, and the 3-drawer $179. The final prices will depend on which BMSM tier you take advantage of.
As a reminder, Milwaukee updated these tool boxes last year to ship with a full complement of drawer dividers.
The deal ends on 3/12/2025 at Acme Tools, and it looks like Home Depot’s promo finally ended on or just before 3/11.
Supplies of the most popular items sold out over the holiday season, but it looks like everything has since been replenished. I ordered a lot of Packout gear at the end of the year, and didn’t have to wait too long for backordered items to ship.

Is the new backpack really worth 2.5x the old backpack?
Stuart
Yes.

Stuart, HD has the 2 & 3 drawer in a bundle for $245, online.

Home Depot: The final price at checkout is $245. The If you look at the product page, the strikeout “was” price reflects a $335 starting point, which is the same as for the tool boxes purchased separately ($156 + $179). The $245 price reflects a $90 off $299+ discount *baked into the price*.
Acme: The $313 starting point saves you $22 compared to buying both boxes separately ($335), and that’s BEFORE the discount. Final price after $90 off is $223. Or you can add a dolly or whatever to get $150 off $399.
If you add the tool box bundles to your cart at both retailers, you’ll find that the Acme listing saves you an extra $22.
I’ll update the post to try to make this clearer.

I hope we get some good deals on the Flex Stack products this holiday season.

If you come across the PO XL Cooler in store, it also qualifies and is $119 on clearance. Ended up with some for $75 each
Rob L.
Thank you for that! I want that silly cooler but was never going to pay retail for it – one store is showing they have some so will try for that tonight – i use Packout for my camping gear as well, and I have a reputation to maintain!:)

The Metabo Router deal got me to get out the credit card, but I just noticed this on Acme when looking for a 2-drawer and 3-drawer bundle plus spending over $399:
2-drawer & 3-drawer bundle: $313
Dolly: $99
Total: $412
2-drawer, 3-drawer, & dolly bundle: $434
Watch yourselves.

Today at the local Home Depot I noticed a Milwaukee Packout products deal – save $150 when you buy a worktop ($54.97) + 3-drawer ($179) + 2-drawer ($156) boxes + a dolly ($99). This will give you a total of $338.97, before tax.
Sono
Good call on calling me out on my own “Watch yourself” rule, but my prices were before the $150 discount.
And to change subject, the new subject being “am I crazy or does the algorithm suck,” can someone check Home Depot for “packout 3 drawer” and see if they can find it, because I’m seeing Dewalt in spot 4, Ryobi in 6, 7, and 9, and Ikea-ish furniture by the second page, with no Packout in sight.

It looks like the sale at Home Depot has been extended – I am now seeing March 11 as the end date. I already purchased 2 stacks (2 rolling boxes, 2 large boxes, 2 medium boxes, a set of 3 drawers, and a small box). Split across 2 orders of about $400, getting me about $800 worth of packouts for $500.
This made me wonder why Home Depot is discounting the packouts so heavily – by most accounts the best deal in years – for almost 5 months? Do you have a sense as to why they would run such a long extended sale? My uneducated wonderings – I read there are a lot of new products out – is this to help get people into the system before those products launch? Or are some older products going to get upgrades and they are clearing out inventory? Seems odd to me.
Stuart
I haven’t heard of any upgrades, replacements, or anything of the sort.
Speaking as candidly as possible, I think that Milwaukee Packout is the best modular tool box system on the market today. There’s a lot of competition right now. Greater affordability on top of their product range and quality is going to sway a lot of tool users from choosing lesser systems at higher prices.
Or at least that’s my take on it. It could also be that the extension is only at Home Depot.
Milwaukee has inventory at online retailers and at Home Depot stores – and others – around the country. I’m leaning towards assuming that this promo has been extremely successful at winning over new customers, with the volume warranting an extension.
Evan
Thank you so much for responding here Stuart, I was worried my comment might get buried with the older post. You are very on top of things!
Your assessment definitely applies to my case – I was first interested in packout because it seems to be the best option on the market, and when researching options this fall it was competatively priced to the competition. For example, with the sale I got my 3 drawer for $113 compared to the Ridgid 3 drawer sale price of $100 or the Dewalt for $120, and my rolling toolboxes came out to $100 each compared to $80 for the Ridgid, $80 for the Husky, or $90 for the Dewalt. I was interested for the quality, and bought for the deal – like you said, I did not want to buy what felt like (to me) a less quality product for a similar or even more expensive price. And, knowing that my system is new and in flux, my thought is that if I decide to sell a few pieces that do not work for me I will get closer to what I paid for them resale with Packout than some of the other systems.
The promo has won me over! Thank you for informing me/us about it and for all of your hard work this season and over the years. My new M12 stubby, M18 mid torque, 2 packout stacks, Metabo cordless router, Metabo brad nailer, Milwaukee ratcheting screwdriver, Gorilla work platform, and full set of Craftsman V series ratchets, wrenches, sockets, etc. thank you for finding them a new home this season!
Adam
All indications are that the promo should end this weekend at most retailers, but a couple weeks back, the details on Home Depot’s PackOut pages, now indicate that it has been extended to March 11.
As someone who does pay attention to timing of sales, and when to purchase, it would be nice to know if that is accurate. Unlikely. I highly doubt the promo will extend on, as that is a Milwaukee approved promo for the holiday quarter, and don’t ever recall a promo being extended (only ending early).
Stuart
If I were going to buy more, I’d get my order in before Feb 2nd. If I was on the fence and wasn’t convinced, I’d wait until after that, and the decision could be made for me.
We know with 100% certainty that the promo still works right now. I can’t say I am confident the deal will extend beyond the 2nd. There’s no one to ask that could provide a reliable answer.
Home Depot’s listings say the promo ends 2/2. In another place, the details say March.
I’d rather be wrong about it ending 2/2 than wrong about it being extended into March. We’ll find out in a couple of days.
Some promos have been extended before, but not 3+ month cross-dealer holiday season deals, at least not to my knowledge. I too have seen some retail promos end early.

Well this is stupid – once again.
One the HD website the 4 drawers can’t be shipped to store nor home?!
I’m not driving several hours to try to get some somewhere out of the way, due to ” low stock ” which means they probably have none and certainly will not hold any if they do …
I have a Home Depot 5 min away.
Come on now …
Stuart
So order from someplace else? Acme shipped my tool boxes without any issue. There was a slight problem with one of the worktops, and they remedied it quickly.
Home Depot looked to only have in-store inventory last month as well. They seemed to sell out of warehouse stock early, if they had any.

RR Building on YT was at the Vegas Concrete show and showed Milwaukee’s new trailer/van tool setup. Racking for Packouts, worktable… pretty cool if starting out with onsite trailer as a general/contractor. But no pricing yet.
My Milwaukee bag is falling apart and I’m going for a tech pac. Milwaukee’s is $20 more than Veto and I’ve not heard anything but praise for Veto’s gear.
Dave
IMHO , Veto Pro Pac makes the best tool bags, for all trades!
I use Packout for parts, tasks related items, and large power tools. but VETO PRO PAC bags, for all my hand tools and Laptop.
Luke
Is this a manufacturer discount that can be used at other retailers, or is it exclusive to specific retailers (I’ve seen it at Home Depot, acme, and Ace)? There’s a Farm King in my locale that’s currently discounting pack out gear and I’m wondering about stacking the deals.
Stuart
This is a discount that participating authorized dealers have already been offering. If your local store is not already participating in the promotional offer, then there won’t be any way to get the discount there. The discount is already applied by participating retailers at the time of purchase.
