Home Depot has another tool deals of the day sales event, featuring tools from Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ryobi, and Ridgid.
Some of these deals are very good, rivalling Black Friday promos. The others are fairly average for Home Depot flash sales, but are still work a quick lookover.

A manufacturer would likely prefer to have inventory of older models if that were implemented.
They wouldn’t be able to make more of that model, but would be able to sell the existing inventory.

the m12 fuel 3 tool drill driver and ratchet with 2 batteries for $199. Is that a good price or could it be cheaper closer to the holidays?

It depends on whether you want that ratchet or not. There are bound to be more deals on the M12 Fuel hammer drill and impact driver combo kit, as it’s a popular gateway into the M12 system.

That is just the standard non-Fuel ratchet at 35ft. lbs. max torque verses the Fuel’s 55ft. lbs. max torque while the drill and driver are Fuel’s.
If that’s the extra tool I was wanting (and the Fuel version does hit harder) I’d wait to see the black Friday deals add the Fuel. It’s kind of hit or miss but I’m pretty sure that $169 deal will be a normal ‘daily deal’ item going forward.
