I caught wind of a good-looking Bosch deal. As part of Lowes pre-Black Friday tool deals, you can buy a Bosch FREAK 18V cordless impact driver-wrench kit, for $99.
The kit comes with the tool, an 18V 2.0Ah battery pack, charger, and carrying case. (This is the new brushed motor version.)

The FREAK is a hybrid impact driver-wrench, featuring a 1/4″ hex bit holder within a 1/2″ square socket drive. It delivers up to 1600 in-lbs max torque.
Also included is a removable belt clip.

When it was first announced, the GDX18V-1600 was $109 for the bare tool, and there’s now a (holiday special??) 2-tool drill and FREAK combo kit, for $149 on Amazon. Correction: $99 via Amazon after discount, but backordered. Details here.

Just so people are not mixing it up. This is the brushed model. Not the brushless. Still a good deal. Even better with the drill kit.

I noticed that as well. The GDX-18V 1600 brushed model is missing a few features of the IDH-182 brushless model: multi-speed selector button, multiple LED lights and well, the brushless motor.
