The new Bosch PS11-2A pivoting head drill driver recently came out, and its full specs and details now available. Designed to be small and compact, the PS11 features a pivoting head to help it reach into narrow spacer and corners. It weighs 2.75 lbs and has a soft grip handle for a more comfortable and ergonomic grip.
The drill/driver has a 3/8″ auto-lock chuck (not sure what that means yet), and is capable of outputting a max torque of 115 in-lbs and max speed of 1300 RPMs. The pivoting head can rotate from 90° to 0° (you can also call it 180°) after pressing the release button, with a total of 5 angle settings. Two LED lights move with the head to provide workpiece illumination, and a fuel gauge lets you monitor remaining battery power.

The PS11 is available as part of a 2-battery kit (PS11-2A), 1-battery kit (PS11-102) and by itself (PS11B). The kit comes with 1 or 2, a 30-minute charger, and soft carrying case.

I keep seeing here and with the competion about the cordless units. Is ‘fine’ for home use, but am looking for one for work. I detail/buff out cars all day, and using a standard drill for small areas gets tiring/painful. How long does the battery last, how is speed controlled..by touch or settings? None of this is addressed.
Stuart
I would not recommend any 12V drill/driver to be used regularly as a buffer – you’ll be running back and forth to the charger all day. And the speed is controlled the same way as with most other corded or cordless drills – via the trigger.
