CamelBak Hi Viz Construction Hydration Pack

CamelBak’s Hi Viz hydration pack features a compact Mil Spec 70 oz water reservoir, insulated tubing and padding, mouthpiece cover, quick shut-off valve, high visibility color scheme (safety orange or lime green), reflective strips, and a tear-away harness.

I have been using CamelBak products for years, and have had great experiences with their products. While I know they make a lot of products for military and tactical users, I didn’t know they made a high visibility pack.

It looks like the pack was thoughtfully designed. A bite valve cover means reduced likelihood of contamination by jobsite dust and debris, and a tear-away harness means you won’t be trapped if the pack gets caught on something.

It doesn’t seem like this small pack will get in the way of mobility or maneuverability at all.

Price: $66-86

If you don’t need the high visibility color scheme, the Watermaster appears to be the same pack, also with a Mil Spec reservoir, for $10-15 less.

I have a similar Camelback, but in tan, and you hardly know you are wearing it, except for the weight. For those that do not know, tha Camelbacks use a bladder that collapses as you drink, so it never seems to slosh.
Do you have a picture that shows the fill neck? Mine is big enough to add ice cubes, and wonder if this is similar.

Camelbak’s bladder openings are definitely large enough to pop in ice cubes of any size. http://shop.camelbak.com/antidote-reservoir-70-oz20l/d/1096_c_311_cl_750

The bladder with this pack is a little different as it’s the Mil Spec version, but the cap sizes should be the same.
