Campbell Hausfeld FP260096 Home Decor Project Kit

Hot on the heels of their compressor air inflation combo kits, Campbell Hausfeld has introduced four air-powered home project kits aiming to provide DIYers with the right tools they need for a particular project or series or projects. At the center of each kit is a 1 or 2 gallon air compressor that can deliver up to 125psi.

Many DIYers (such as myself) prefer to buy tools separately. However, many others – especially beginners, prefer to have everything bundled together. Purchasing a kit is often economical, and helps get beginners from planning to working stages much quicker.

While maybe not the best quality, I still think the best deal out there for a Compressor is the Evolv branded one at Sears for $69 that includes a brad nailer and inflation kit. Sometimes you can find it even cheaper than that. I have found it to be quite powerful for not only the brad nailer, but also a finish nailer, and a framing nailer.

The Evolv compressor kit I believe you’re referring to has a lager capacity (3 gallons), but lower operating pressure, and is normally priced at $80, so it’s roughly comparable to the Campbell Hausfeld home improvement kit.

I imagine that both compressors’ SCFM is going to be way too low for framing work, but should be okay for use with finishing nailers.

I got the Evolv compressor for $55 with Sears coupon in combination with a sale price. Takes FOREVER to fill up.

I will probably return it, not because it’s bad, but cause I got a larger capacity compressor.

That drain cleaner is great. I have had it for years, and unplugged a lot of drains with. The only problem, I loaned it to a friend, and he broke it. Now I am having a hard time finding another one.
