This awesome T-handle driver features a 1/4″ square drive body with spinner and T-bar, all machined from solid titanium! The tool is made in the USA by Tom of Artistry in Titanium, and will probably endure several lifetimes of use and abuse. Just look at those comfortable looking grooves and finger grips! Fantastic!
Bosch Power Box 360 Jobsite Radio Hands-on Review
A few weeks ago, we talked about Bosch’s new Power Box 360 music/power center, and how it claims to “re-define” jobsite sound. The new Power Box 360 features four speakers and a subwoofer, modern media connectivity options, and quite a few snazzy features. While that sounds great on paper, how does the Power Box 360 […]
The Busted Knuckle Garage Toolbox Desk Organizer
This desk organizer by The Busted Knuckle Garage is a replica 9″ x 4″ x 5″ toolbox made from bent and spot-welded 24 ga steel, and features a red powder-coating, flip-top lid, felt-lined floor, and ~3″ deep storage compartment. The organizer is a bit pricey at nearly $40, but practically screams “Father’s Day Gift Idea”. The Busted Knuckle Garage Toolbox […]
NYC Metrocard Under a Microscope
Here are a few cool microscope images of a NYC Metrocard that I took the other day. What does this have to do with tools? An optical microscope is just one of the tools I use on a regular basis. If you like these images, be sure to check out these electron microscope images I […]
Totally Awesome Craftsman Tool Music Video
Those crazy guys at the Craftsman Labs have taken their tool torture to a whole new level. With the help of musician/composer/ producer Kutiman, they created the following music video. Every sound you hear was created with Craftsman tools. There was definitely a lot of creativity involved – some tools were banged together (wrench xylophone) and […]

Bosch next-generation Power Box 360 sound system and power center offers five speakers and an integrated subwoofer (!!!!) to project high-quality sound in all directions. The new Power Box 360 is more powerful than the original and updated Power Boxes, and offers many more modern upgrades.
Wera Koloss Hammer Ratchet Has Arrived!
Wera’s new Koloss 1/2″ drive hammer ratchet has finally arrived! I received a sample from ChadsToolbox that I’m currently testing, but I just couldn’t wait that long to post some teaser pics of it. Check out the gallery at the end of this post!
DIY CNC Machines – Easier Than Ever!
You may have noticed a drop in the number of posts here on ToolGuyd, and there’s a good reason for that. Aside from working on a few new reviews, I had been reading up on how to build a small CNC machine.
Mating Nut & Bolt Wedding Bands
This awesome mating nut and bolt wedding band set by Kiley Granberg is perfect for hardcore DIYer couples that want to show the world what they’re about. Even if not worn in public, this set would still be a heck of a display piece.
Amazing Woodworking Workbench Masterpiece
Every now and then I come across a woodworking workbench so beautifully made, so inspiring, that my jaw just drops in amazement. What’s better than a well-crafted and functional workbench? A detailed and well described workbench project log, such as Darnell Hagen’s over at his blog The Way I Wood!
Newton, an Innovative DIY Bookshelf Concept
The Newton is a rather nifty bookshelf idea that suspends a few books off the wall with only two L hooks and an old c-clamp. This design also looks to be easily copyable and adaptable. Maybe something similar can be constructed using a modified handscrew clamp? Newton Bookshelf Clamp via DesignSpotter

Wera Koloss Ratchet with Hammer Function
Wera has recently announced the Koloss, a new heavy duty 1/2″ drive addition to their lineup of innovative ratchets. Even stranger in appearance than Wera’s swivel-head Zyklop ratchet, the Koloss features a ratchet built into a hammer head. Yes, that’s right, the Koloss is a real ratchet-hammer combo tool that is said to be unbreakable.
Early April Fools Joke or Awesome Multitool?
I spotted this creatively altered image of a hammer-ratchet multitool over at the ShopNGarage forum. It may be hard to believe, but as unusual as a hammer-ratchet multitool would be, I’ve been pitched strangers tool combination ideas before. Have a neat photoshopped/GIMPed multitool of your own? Send a pic of it our way via email. […]
Woodline Wood Gear Clock Kit
Over at the Woodworking Show we recently visited, I spotted an incredible working wood geared clock kit by Woodline. These photos hardly do the clock justice – it was far more spectactular in person.

New Joby Gorillapod Magnetic Flexible Mini Tripod
Joby just added a new magnetic flexible legged mini tripod to their Gorillapod lineup. Our biggest gripe with the Gorillatorch, although minor, is that we could not [easily] modify it for use with 3rd party flashlights. Although the new Gorillapod Magnetic is intended for use with P&S cameras, it shouldn’t be too difficult to craft a custom […]
Snap-on Custom Tool Storage Skins
Via their Facebook page, Snap-on recently discussed how one could skin and customize their Snap-on tool storage. While we understand and can appreciate the desire to customize and personalize a tool box, designs like this seem to be a bit too ostentatious.
