  • “Whisper quiet operation”
  • MyQ Internet Gateway

This garage door opener has some great reviews – we’re tempted to order a pair of them ourselves! Do you know of any reason why this might not be a good deal?

Chamberlain makes some awesome openers, thats what we have in our garage. The only thing id be wary of is the internet part.

Seems like it be easier to hack these open. but thats just my opinion.

After doing a new house install, we returned our big-bog store model ( a Chamberlain) because the track that mounts from your wall to the motor was multi-segmented and bowed quite considerably when closing. Adjusted it with no success, and ended up returning and getting a single solid track from a professional garage installer.

My chambeland ha been bowing like that for 5 years, it’s not a problem at all, remember the springs are what’s doing the work. No big deal, gonna swap a 3/4 hp for a 1 1/4 hp chamberland with MyQ for 62 dollars on clearance .

Thanks for the clarification. Want to use one to automatically open and close some skylight shutters in my barn that I can’t reach without a ladder. I can see the Rube Goldberg design in my head…
