Of all these deals, I would look almost equally at the Dewalt, Ego, and Ryobi 40V Max deals, with perhaps slightly closer focus on the first 2 of those offerings.
I’ve been using/testing that Dewalt blower for some time, and really like it. It’s compact, but powerful enough for small to medium sized cleanup tasks.

Dang, the 40V Ryobi kit is sold out. I have the 40V brushless mower and I’m quite happy with it. I wanted a blower and to upgrade my 18V trimmer to 40V. I have their cheapest 18V trimmer and it feels a little cheesy, but it works fine for my needs.

I use both the Ryobi 40v and “some” DeWalt 40V equipment commercially in my Landscape business on my 2nd season with the Ryobi 40V trimmer and hedge trimmer.
Like Bon Pacific stated the Ryobi balance is better as well as the weight is better and personally find the ergonomics better than most cordless 40-80v OPE.
While the DeWalt string trimmer seems like it was designed by an R&D engineer that has never mowed a blade of grass. The biggest design flaw and Achilles heel (IMHO) is the also the reason while the balance is better on a mid-shaft mounted motor. The issue is that to place a motor that is subject to morning dew, the moisture in the grass blades ( ever noticed how heavy that grass bag is when you go to empty it in the spring or cleaned out the deck of a mower?) not to mention all the dust debris that collect around a weed eater head – moisture, dust and heat build up and a electric motor – its like placing a trucks radiator right behind the engine next to the exhaust or by a turbo and poring abrasive grit in your motor oil.
That said I’ve got no issue with either DeWalt 40V MAX XR Brushless Handheld Blower, or 40V MAX 22” Hedge Trimmer (other than weight and I do prefer the lighter but equally powerful and cut capacity of the Ryobi 40v Hedge) I have 3 DeWalt 4AH 40v batteries (Made in Malaysia ) I’ve only got 2 Ryobi 40v Batteries (Made in China).
I also prefer the Ryobi 40v trimmer as I can switch out attachments (universal attachments) I can run the power broom (or rototiller tines replaced with broom flaps, I canrun all the attachments even the 10″ limb chainsaw with extension, and even the cultivator/rototiller head more for flowerbeds and mixing soil, not for garden prep -need a true tiller.
IMHO the Ryobi 40V Trimmer Expandit is the best bang for your buck on the market. I run it with .095 line and 17″ head (from a gas unit).
It will trim the same amount of grass as the Brushless 80v Kobalt trimmer ( I tested both on the same area of a customer on different visit both with fresh charged batteries ( since its hard to judge linear feet at varying speeds, I basically mowed a section of lawn with trimmers at full throttle and swing-bladed the turf, the both trimmed the whole lot and the same section of lawn before hitting the battery shut down protection ( so it doesn’t discharge lower than 15% approx) maybe a difference of 100 sqft 10’x10′ ( I really wanted to like the Kobalt because of the 5 year warranty and the 2nd free battery at the time).
I can say that the blowers are high demand and high drain on any cordless battery even with a brush-less motor.
I can’t speak for the Ryobi 18v but I have recommend the 40v Ryobi to several neighbors and clients who inquired.

I second Jonathan experience with the 40V Ryobi. It’s probably one of the best line up out there in term of price/availability/reliability and usability.
When I did my own yard, the 40V Ryobi was my favorite. It’s very well balanced and never gave me any trouble. This is coming from a guy with commercial grade Echo gas equipment.

I know the 40v would blow it away, but my 18v Ryobi blower (model P2180) does great for what it is. The battery seems to last forever, and the power is better than every other 18v blower I’ve tried (not a ton, but several over the years). Now there are several 18v Ryobi blowers that are not nearly as good, but I would get this one again (if Milwaukee wasn’t releasing a great one soon).
I would have never bought the Ryobi before I tried it, but I was given it, and has been great. Even other people in the house make an effort to keep the garage clean now!

Reading the specs, I believe the Dewalt comes with the charger and an extra battery as well.

Hmm, while it’s too late, I think you’re right.
What threw me off is that it says: Includes string trimmer, blower and battery pack.
But the photo does show the trimmer loaded with a battery, and mentions the trimmer kit model number.
That would have made this a hotter deal, but it’s strange and concerning that they didn’t explicitly mention that a charger is included, and that the language suggests the bundle only comes with a single battery.

I have the DeWalt 20v trimmer, and it works great. I’d stay away from the Ryobi options. I returned a 40v and switched to the DeWalt, and it has got a *lot* more power. The only thing nicer on the Ryobi is the balance, since the motor is in the back, whereas the DeWalt puts it in the head. The DeWalt charges much faster, even on the basic charger. The Ryobi 40v battery would routinely take an hour and a half to fully charge.
I use my trimmer for the whole (smallish) yard, as I dislike wrestling with mowers. So my experience may not be representative.
