Over at Amazon, this Dewalt 35-piece Impact Ready drilling and driving bit set is on sale for just $15. It’s typically priced at about $28-35 at other tool dealers and home improvement retailers.
The set (model DW2180) comes with a mix of 1-inch screwdriver insert bits, basic nutsetters, 2-inch power bits, a magnetic bit holder, drill bits, a longer power bit, and a compact Tough Case.

This looks to be a decent starter set for new impact driver owners, as it includes a little of everything. There are new pro-grade high-performance impact accessories on the market, such as Makita Impact Gold, Irwin Impact Series, and Wiha Terminator, but the $15 price point of this set is hard to argue against.
With Amazon, it can be hard to tell whether a product will be on sale for a few hours, days, or weeks. This set was priced at $15 through the weekend, and so it might hold at this price for some time longer. Or it could jump back up towards its average street price.
If you’re not in a rush for impact bits, there should be plenty of other impact accessories sets on sale during the upcoming winter holiday shopping season. If you’re interested in this set, $15 seems to be about as low as it could go.

this is why i hate these bit kits dewalt puts out………Its always a combo unit with little bit of this and a sampling of that. I’d so much rather have a comprehensive/specific kit of just nut drivers with all available sizes, and a different kit with just bits, and a different one with just countersink drills and a different one with just bit holder of all size and shape and etc.
they could be numbered and click together and you could collect then all.
on another note, I don’t buy these plastic cases bit sets anymore, i prefer the flat cordura kits that Bosch has put out only because they take up less room in the tool carrier.

I kinda agree. But I just ended up buying and making my own special sets with the items I need in a set. It worked for me. I dont think any company could just guess at what you or I need in a kit and get it just right. Hence the bunch of stupid crap in each of these kits..
Personally I like the dewalt box’s over pretty much anyone else. They last along time, and keep things dry when I am stuck in rain or snow..

I agree with you on the sets. I don’t care for the bits & pieces concept. Too many gaps in the contents when there are a lot of different types of tools to begin with. Good stocking stuffers and that’s all.
I love the modular concept, but you rarely see it.
