Dewalt Brushless Oscillating Multi-Tool Plus Accessories Bundle

Over at Amazon, the deal of the day today, 4/19/2016, is on this Dewalt 20V Max brushless cordless oscillating multi-tool.

I did a roundup of the best cordless oscillating tools a while back, and found Dewalt’s to have the best ergonomics. That still holds true.

With this deal, you get the DCS355D1 OMT combo, plus an additional bundled accessory pack, model DWA4216. Separately, the oscillating multi-tool kit is priced at $179 (regularly priced at $199), and the bonus accessory pack is priced at $33.

So, you get money off the Dewalt oscillating multi-tool, even more off its regular price, and an extra accessory set.

There are lots of things to like about Dewalt’s oscillating multi-tool, such as its compact size, excellent ergonomics, and power. The only thing I don’t like is that tool-free blade changes are only possible when using Dewalt or Rockwell open-backed blades. Other accessory styles are compatible, but you have to use a screw-down adapter.

This is a very good deal. My guess is that maybe Amazon and Dewalt are encouraging DIYers, pros, and their loved ones to get a head-start on Father’s Day gift shopping.

Buy Now(via Amazon)

Deal ends at 3am ET 4/20/16, unless it sells out sooner.

I have this tool and love it.

I hate the high price of the blades. Does anyone have an off brand solution that saves money but holds up well?

Purchased from this ebay seller twice. Product is almost exactly the same, and I have no remorse burning through blades.

      Good luck, and enjoy!

Fantastic timing. I’ve been putting off buying on and I really was going to get a corded model either the dewalt or the porter cable.

for the price and the extra pieces – I can’t pass this up and it’s cordless.

I have this tool and think it’s awesome. I also have an older and corded Porter Cable and have not touched it since. The Dewalt has the same power as my PC but without the hassle of the cord.

This is tempting. I’ve got the Porter Cable 18v version and love it, so eventually the bare tool DeWalt is in my plans. Getting another battery and the two accessory kits for $30 more is a great deal, though. If they’re still in stock this evening another 20v Max tool may be added to the collection.

Have it, love it, use it all the time! I can’t say enough positive things about this tool. The accessory kits are a necessity. Search Ebay for deals on blades. I buy in bulk there.

I know a guy that swears by the HF pieces – but ONLY when they are on sale.

IE when they do the parking lot sale I notice their OMT blades run from 4 dollars to about 8.

I got the corded porter cable version that was posted as a deal of the day on here a while back. Its perfectly fine. Used it several times but dang, its not yellow and it has a cord.

So I got mine this weekend and I have to say I can see why people like this model.

blade changes – easy peasy. Holds very firm and true.

quite – very low vibration transmitted to your hands. very good ergonomics.

fast and it seems it doesn’t bog down much at all. The edge guide attachment is very nice as was the blade selection.
