As previously discussed, Dewalt is coming out with new socket sets and mechanics tool sets, but that’s not all. They’re also coming out with new combination wrenches and reversible ratcheting wrenches.
The standard combo wrenches will be available in 10pc inch and metric sets. The new wrenches feature an anti-slip design that locks them onto fasteners, as well as an arched open end jaw surface that provides 400% more gripping power than flat jaws.

Better gripping power means reduced slipping, less fastener damage, and greater torque transference.
The reversible ratcheting wrenches feature 72-tooth gearing for a 5° swing arc. As with the non-ratcheting wrenches, 10pc sets will be available in inch and metric flavors.

As you might already know, several brands under the Stanley Black & Decker also make wrenches and mechanics tools: Stanley, Blackhawk, Proto, Mac, and Facom. Our guess is that the new Dewalt wrenches will place between Stanley and Blackhawk, with regard to quality and pricing.
