Sweet jeebs! This thing is practically a right angle driver. I’d use it anywhere it fits.
Steve
I am in the process of replacing all my hand power tools with DeWalt cordless tools. You can never have too many batteries and the compact impact driver would be a nice addition.
Timothy Dilweg
Hi my name is Tim,
I use cordless DeWalt 20v tools everyday as I have a construction business in Myrtle Beach SC.
I would love to try these out in a everyday situation.
DeWalt to me is the only way to go!!
Nate
If dewalt don’t make it, I don’t own it ….
Kevin McCormick
I’d put it up my butt. Thats a good application.
Ryan+H
I want to win this because I’m often installing ethernet wires in really tight spaces, and trying to screw in J-hooks and other hanging devices is pretty tough. Having a small tool like this would help me finish jobs a lot faster!
Rob
I think they are looking for right spaces, not places so open it could be mistaken for grand central station.
Keith D
I have the old 18v dewalt tools and batteries. I will be building a deck, installing a metal roof and installing 2 grage doors.
B Carroll
Like the ability to use same high quality battery across multiple tools
Brian P
I’d like to play with some of the Atomic lineup for tight spaces.
Ovidiu Salcudean
I’ll use it for my wood structure and roof that I’m building. Plus PV system and all around the hous.
StevenB
I love those things , I’m always in need of them
Daniel Wagner
I’d use in the garage
Matt+the+Hoople
I’d like to have this because I’m a tightwad and this would allow me to finally upgrade from my Dewalt 18v Nicd driver with a battery adapter.
James Aiello
All my tools are DeWalt. I do a lot of deck construction so I’m interested to see how the newer batteries and impact driver “stack up” to the workload.
Weston
I’ve never had dewalt but would definitely like to give it a shot, it’d be great to just have in the house for whatever rather than going to the truck for tools everytime.
Shirley Pinczewski
My friend had his stolen so he would love these.
Paul
Dewalt has been my most reliable & go to choice for Power Tools..!
They Never fail to Impress & get the Job Done..!
It would be an Honor to “Hopefully” win the New Powerstack 5.0…
B.Y.R.
BLACK & YELLOW RULES!!!
Jason Engle
DeWalt if by far the best tool out there. Been a carpenter for 20+ yrs use them all. I use DeWalt every day especially the drivers, as this one would be, but DeWalt out performs all the others hands down. I’d love to ad this compact modelt o my collection of daily used tools.
Bryan Green
I would love to win the DeWALT 20V Max* PowerStack battery and Atomic impact driver kit to use when I need to take a tool traveling for work. The new power stack battery in my carryon and checking the impact driver will ensure I’ve got the power needed when I am working remotely for the week.
Hammerstump
As with previous giveaways, I’d want to win this for my dad. He’d get a ton of use out of this impact! He’s currently depending on his aging Craftsman C3 drill/driver.
I might keep that PowerStack, however…
Sean
I would use the new impact to replace my older DeWalt that is getting tired. Looks like a great compact impact. Also would like to try the new PowerStack battery.
Kenny
Just started using DeWalt tools started with a hammer now I have the whole atomic set use it everyday very pleased
Skyler M.
I have been trying to expand my Dewalt tool collection and this would be a great addition. Lately have been doing some wood work and maintenance around the home so the battery pack would be a awesome upgrade.
Nathan
SO I’m in the dewalt line up now and I have the 2 predecessors to this impact driver the 895 and the 887. and I like both of them for different reasons I think overall I prefer the 895 – but the 3 speeds is a major improvement. ALso probably why I’ve not broken any bits. I rarely use it on 3.
anyway I would like to try out the smaller one – there are the few times when the 887 is a touch too big to use but it’s rare. And if I won the kit I would most likely give away my 887 to the local trades school or to a kid I know at church getting into automotive school. something along those lines.
I’m interested in the use of the powerstack battery I have 2am compacts now and the old 1.5 that came with my first drill. So it would be nice to have the current thoughput of the 5.0 in the smaller size. I think it’s a potentially great pairing for a cordless ratchet that I don’t own.
Again if I win I’d be give the new kit charger and battery to whomever I give my 887 to.
Thank you for the consideration. Oh uses – I use my 887 and 895 alot for woodwork construction and also automotive use. I’ll throw a 1/4 or 3/8 square adapter on them to run off stuff like manifold screws when changing spark plugs on a ford explorer or such. once just to test it I put it on 3 with a 1/2 square adapter to take off some tire lugs – and it did it. barely but it did it.
Michael Soto
Im in need of an impact driver and have been on the fence about getting another Dewalt. I have an old Dewalt 12v impact driver which is on its last legs. Its been a great little driver, but after over 15 years its about time. And given the fact that this model would work in tight quarters, this would be a huge win for me. I have so many projects around my home that I could use this for. I’ve also heard great things about the powerstack and would love to put it through its paces.
DeFan
I want to win, as I want to see for myself if the Powerstack batteries live up to the hype, and also I want one of the modern impact drivers that have the different speed settings on them. I would use it when I redo my desk this summer, and like I wrote earlier, I want to see how if the Powerstack batteries stack up in real world situations.
David N.
I’ll be finishing the basement this winter and have all kinds of applications!!
Andrei Iachim
I’m switching little by little to Dewalt, the Power Stack is one of the reasons. I’m looking forward for the new 5ah PS battery, but în my opinion it’s a little pricey. I wouldn’t mind getting a free one for testing.
Derek
Been doing a ton of home renovations and woodworking these days and this would be really awesome to have. I’ve almost pulled the plug a few times on a PowerStack battery. Really excited to get the chance to try one out!
Tim B.
Would love to give this a try… the extremely compact form factor of the driver along with the purported output capability of the power stack are something I’d love to compare first-hand to my aging 1st-generation M18, which is long due for an upgrade!
Mike Finneran
incredible size to power ratio, MOAR POWER! I have OCD and like to drive in a 500 screws before bed each night. This is will be perfect.
Markmo56
I recently switched my Dewalt tools from 14.4v XRP to the 20 volt platform. I am really interested to see how the Powerstack compares to the standard batteries. I will try them in my 20v Cutoff tool, circular saw, and drill/driver.
Adam
I would be using it for cabinet installs, would love to see how the Atomic series performs!
Eric
I’d give it as a gift to my father-in-law who doesn’t have any cordless tools but could run circles around me in carpentry skills.
Bob Boudreau
I’d give this to my son to get him started with good tools. He doesn’t have any cordless tools yet for projects around his townhouse.
Robert
I want to build my own miniature radio control model of the Japanese lithium battery powered submarine Oryu. The 5 AH powerstack would be just right.
Tool Nerd
I could use these to sail though my days of woodworking projects! Thanks for the giveaway and good luck everyone! 😎😎
KRISTINA PADEN
I would use the Dewalt Impact Driver Combo Kit & Powerstack to help my Honey hang new cabinet doors. He doesn’t like to share his tools but the new doors need to be hung. This would be the first tool in my own tool box.
George P.
It’s compact enough to get into wiring cabinets where even stubby manual screwdrivers in a large hand are a tight fit.
Matt K
I would use this to help me complete my built ins I am building in my mud room!
Jorhay
Who wouldn’t want to win this? The power stack batteries are truly intriguing to me, and it’d be nice to have an excuse to break into the DeWalt line up.
Borgunit
I am looking for just a little more oomf from my driver. This should put me over the top for my vehicle repairs and woodworking with oak and maple. Hoping to take it to the next level. Thanks
Dusty
Definitely use this to finish the basement.
Dean
I would use for various projects around the house. The new battery composition is very interesting. Fingers crossed it will be mine.
Alejandro
Winning this will allowed me to show it off to my wife.
She is a Makita user and I have been telling her about this small driver and the new technology in the power stack. I think she will like it since it is way lighter than Makitas.
John
100% overkill for basic apartment maintenance, but I would absolutely use it at work.
Joseph Corning
I am still using my 20 + year old Craftmade power tools. But they are in dire need of up dating. As a home owner of a Victorian home I am constantly using them for maintenance and upgrades.
Mark J
This would be an awesome upgrade to old worn down original brushless impact and i don’t have any powerstack batteries. Good to add a 2nd impact as well as these are super useful.
Jeffrey Morefield
I would love to have this kit so I can finish my gutters before winter really gets here! I would gift it to my wife, so she could help out!
Terry
It’d be great to try out the powerstack battery, already have a bunch of Dewalt 20v tools. A more compact driver certainly wouldn’t hurt either.
John Hollingsworth
This would make a great addition to my tools! Having the power stack battery will help give me an extra boost to some of my existing tools.
Chip
i would love a kit, I’ve been a team yellow guy for about 15 years and loved all my dewalt cordless drills, sanders and grinders. i’ve beat the hell out of them but they never let me know and work like a charm. I like to switch to the powerstack especially on my angle grinders to keep the same performance but with less weight than my current dewalt battery
Erl
I’d love to test out the PowerStack firsthand. Impact gets a lot of use, renovations, maintenance and automobiles.
Brian
I’m building new base cabinets for my shop so this would come in handy!
Dan
I would love to own this as we are currently building a new home and these would mesh nicely in to my Dewalt 20v tools in combination with my M18 & M12 tools. This will be used to finish off our basement.
Farid
Since my robotics team I mentor has pretty much commandeered most of my tools, I can use this to finish my other projects.
Carl
I’d love it because I had one and it broke. Also, you can never have enough. If the broken one ever gets fixed and returned to me I’d also just as likely donate it or gift it.
With all the DeWalt tools I have, an extra 5Ah battery would be a huge boon too, and I’m super curious to try the powerstack batteries.
Jeff Stoddard
Hi – I’d love to win this Dewalt impact drive and battery so I can install the new pantry cabinets I have just ordered! Would make my life much easier!
Gary
Have a few dewalt cordless but not an impact wrench. It sure would fill out my small selection as I build on my shop. Go Yellow!
Matthew Schulz
I would use the impact to replace my single speed brushed impact that i have. the powerstack battery would be a nice addition to have for some of my high demand tools.
Jkokies
I need to finish out the interior of a large shed we recently purchased.
Rob
I’m very curious to try out these new power stack batteries and see how they compare to my Makita tools. Also love the compact form factor of the driver!
Steve-O
I want to try that new battery our with icefishing, as I heard they are better in the cold than the cylinder batteries.
Bruce Birdsong
The impact driver like most of us I already have but it does look like an improvement over what I own. The battery looks like the cat’s meow in that the compact size but still have all the power from the larger batteries will be a game changer of what you can fit in a toolbox and ease of carrying around.
Mike Crowley
I’d love to try the Powerstack battery for the first time to see how it compares with my large assortment of current 20v and FlexVolt batteries. The Atomic impact would come in very handy as a much smaller alternative to my current 887s (could’ve used it on a project last week!). More yellow is always good – it would fit in well with my many other (30+) Dewalt tools across two homes (and two states!).
Thanks Stuart for your tireless efforts finding and highlighting great tool deals across another holiday season; super appreciative of this community you’ve fostered and use the product feedback here year round. Happy Holidays!
conor
I would love the battery to make my half inch impact a tad lighter, and the impact driver to get in stud bays with long screws.
bg100
Dude, Stuart, way to go getting the giveaway sponsorship! We all appreciate your tireless hard work!
Primarily I would use the tool combo for bragging about DeWalt being the top dog in the tool game. 😉 But seriously, the light weight and small frame make this the go-to impact for most jobs. I’d start with it on some kitchen cabinet face frames.
thomas v
I’d want to see how the new battery does with the 1/2 inch impact wrench. I have 1-1/4 inch bolts on a brush hog mower blades and the threads get rounded over and are very hard to remove. With a fresh flexvolt 9ah battery the wrench can remove them but not with the smaller batteries including even the 3ah 27000 series. I’d want to see if the powerstack hits harder.
Davethetool
Would like this tool as my impact driver is on its last leg.
Mark
Would be nice to tryout a powerstack battery on screws and bolts.
Jeff
I’d use it for places a full size won’t fit. I really want to see how the powerstack does on my other tools.
Scott K
This is so sweet. I would love to replace my aging brushed impact with something more compact and powerful. This battery would also pair nicely with my circular saw. I have a few projects in the works that this would definitely make more enjoyable. This is so compact it might even make the right angle adapter I just bought obsolete 😂
Micah Henderson
I been wanting to pick this up since it came out. These would be great to have on the jobsite can’t bet having such a small impact to get into small spaces.
Jonathan Anderson
I would love to win this DeWalt impact driver and power stack to help me power through residing my house with exterior foam insulation and then following it up with a remodel of our kitchenette. This battery would help me power through the days and not have to wait to recharge during valuable free time.
Rich
Next level battery tech? Count me in. Would love to try the Power stack.
Marc
I’m already looking to add that Atomic Impact Driver to my toolbox and the powerstack battery would make it so much sweeter!
Tucker
Have on at work used with the small powerstack batteries, wonder if this will feel more balanced with a heaver battery. So far I like the Atomic tools as a compact, but more powerful alternative to my M12 stuff
Tator
Would love to compare it to my Hilti Nuron tools and batteries!
Rich P
I would use it while remodeling / finishing my attic.
Serge!
Would be very useful for installing shelves, TVs, furniture especially when using big screws.
I use Milwaukee M12 impact but it’s way underpowered and has issues with every Torx screw I’m trying to drive.
Matthew
I’d love to be able to fit the impact driver into even tighter spaces than I can now. And that Power Stack battery paired with my impact wrench will definitely be an advantage!
Tyler S
This driver would be nice for getting in those tight places in/under a car engine.
LC
Looks like a yellow Pokemon to me and I’m just trying to collect them all.
David Dunbar
Sweet. ALL my cordless tools are DeWalt. I’m new in woodworking, just finished and finishing first several projects. Annoying having to use DeWalt drill and switch bits all the time — drill a hole, switch to Torx to put in wood screw, back and forth…
Nick
I would use it for the next round of home remodeling projects I’m planning.
The battery would be the nice thing, though – get to keep my other yellow tools running that much longer.
Nate
I don’t have either of these. That’s unacceptable and thus why I should win
gregs
I’m just fascinated by the latest tech, plus the driver is way nicer than mine
jason gloekler
Be a great replacement for my heavily used 887 and upgrade to newer tech battery.
Aaron SD
I’d love to have the smaller driver with a longer battery. Makes life easier as I’d have to charge it less.
Everyday Tool Dude
I would love this to start my collection of new power tools. My current set is about 15 years old and I am looking for a new platform to build around. This latest and greatest tech looks to fit the bill perfectly. I would be using it around the house for projects, some car/truck/camper maintenance and possibly a back deck.
JamesR
I’d gift this to my in-laws who are still using a Dewalt NiCad drill! I’m sure this would feel like going from a Model T to a Mustang.
BuildingMech
More power and a longer charge would come in handy when relatives call upon me to assemble and/or install their home improvement projects
Minh Vuong
I had a chance to test out the new impact and am impressed with its size. Much easier to carry, hold, and get into tight spaces.
Joellikestools
This is the tool and battery combo I am most interested in trying from dewalt. I have not had a chance to test any of the stacked batteries and find them intriguing. I would consider adding a circular saw from Dewalt too. There are always lots of projects around the house.
David
I’d like to try the Powerstack batteries – and would happily use the driver in tight places as I do some workshop expansion work!
Tony
Remodeling our house top to bottom. And there’s so much bottom…
Kaitlyn Buffington
I would like this drill to give to my dad so he can find something to do other than cry about women !
David K
Thanks for all the great insight on tools and deals.
I would use the impact driver for anything that requires a good driving, obviously with the three speeds it can be used for small to big tasks. It would get used daily.
The power stack would make a great match up for the driver but also to lighten the load on any high damanding Dewalt tool.
Cody
Nice small driver. Nice big battery in small package.
Just What i Need. 🙂
John Sylvestre
Just moved the family to Florida I would use it to get it the house set up ,and fix what needs fixing.
Jehremy
I have a ton of projects around the house that would make great use of this! From hanging cabinets to repairing old fences this would be a huge upgrade for us.
GreenTundy
Renovating my attic. The extra set would help greatly so wife and i can stop sharing and we could each use our own set and help with the progress.
Amish Mike
Small and compact size would make it great to fit in small areas!
Brian
Just bought a DeWalt starter kit recently as my corded tools are making tasks difficult. This would definitely be a good addition to the kit.
Mahkook
I’m the go-to guy for family, neighbors, co-workers, and even random people I just met when they all want something fixed, installed, built, etc. I’m a DeWalt 20V tool guy all the way. This would make a nice addition to the tool kit. Also I’ve always been interested in seeing if the shorter length of this driver really would make a difference in my use of it… Do I really find myself in situations where I have that tight of a spot to work in? I bet that once I have it I’ll wonder why I hadn’t got one earlier. I’d also love to test the new battery to see if I need to throw out the dozen others I have and replace them all with new power stack batteries!
David Vurnakes
Need more batteries for all the tools I have. Please and thank you!
ShakyOne
My 10 year old Makita needs a refresh!
GAC
I am all in. Go team Yellow.
Scott Nett
I’ve been drooling over this driver because of its compactness, it would be great for driving fasteners in tight joist bays. Also, I’ve had good luck with the small PowerStack batteries, am anxious to try out the larger one.
Andrew Lethbridge
I’d love to try out the new tools with their compact size. I’d use it to help continue our renovation in our current home
Ivan
I’d use it on the patios!!
Ray
Would love to see how these batteries compare to the normal 5Ah packs under a variety of conditions. Some of my 5Ah packs already have a dead battery cell in them and won’t charge past “2 bars” thanks to routine usage. Hope the new packs last longer and work better!
The atomic driver would be a handy upgrade to my existing impact especially given its smaller footprint.
Paddlevan
I would use it to retire my non Dewalt impact driver at my moms house
mlodyulek
Plenty of garden boxed to screw together next spring.
This little thing will be perfect for that.
Bonnie
I’d love a low-profile impact driver of any brand, and I’m interested in expanding my existing DeWalt OPE into shop tools.
Joseph
I am a big fan of DeWalt and excited for their new release of the 5ah Powerstack battery. I’m curious to compare and see the real time difference between the og 1.7ah powerstack vs new. Also would love to own and put to use the recently released Atomic Impact.
Matt S
I’d like to win this because I like Dewalt and I enjoy winning things. 🙂
Amanda
Garden needs some upgrades next year! Impact driver would be great for building new boxes to replace the ones that have fallen apart!
Everett S.
This looks great! I would use it for tight-access fastening applications around the house as well as automotive.
Jay
About to start an Etsy shop with the wife and I’ve been itching to switch off the Ryobi platform…this would give that decision direction and an excuse to begin that transition. The only Dewalt tool I own at the moment is it’s planer which is top notch!
Chris
I was cutting out holes in a countertop for sinks with my jigsaw and a flexvolt battery. And while it had plenty of power I could make turns against the wall. I needed the oomph of a flexvolt battery but in a smaller package. And this looks like to solution!
I would definitely use it with the impact driver for that extra slap some longer screws need. But also any other tool where I need a bit more power but no room for larger batteries. Bedsides, who wants to carry around a flexvolt battery in a cordless tool anyways?
dsal
I’d like to try that powerstack battery in my circular saw and portable vacuum. I can always find a place to stash that impact driver.
Drew M
If I won, I would give the kit to my friend who had part of his house burn down and has slowly been rebuilding. He got hosed by the insurance company and so for the past year has been completing repairs out of his own pocket. I’ve been helping him as I can, when I can.
Greg G
Looks pretty compact compared to other brands. Might just have to go Yellow this coming new year
RDS
Upgrading my Dewalt impact driver for home renovations!
Donald Ostrowski
I’d use it to replace my 15-year-old Dewalt driver.
Alexander
Thanks for the oppurtunity! i need a new impact as im still using the dcf885! i tried to switch to milwaukee but honestly, i like the handling of the dewalt impact much much more! not to mention the new powerstack batteries! would love to have this kit to help me move my kitchen extension along! happy holidays!
Tom P
I have a couple of major renovation projects coming up this winter and I would love to try out the Powerstack battery to see what all the fuss is about. I am a dewalt 20v user and am looking to buy some batteries soon. This may well sway my purchasing decisions.
Bernardo+Castro
Always have been a dewalt a user and would really like to try out these new batteries and see if they are re worth it
camtah
OK, I am so far down the Ryobi rabbit hole (over 40 tools/batteries), that I have come to the part were the battery form factor is begining to be a curse for shelf space. I bought into the Dewalt ecosystem with the 12vMax series for my small workbench in the basement. Needless to say I am so impressed that I was looking forward to more 12V tools….Now I see the new power stack system and I am am started to feel dizzy..in a good way. I would truely like to start a “new” tool collection and I think this package might be worth asking Santa Dewalt for. I promise to be good…
Nate
Doing a full inside and out renovation bit by bit all alone when I can scrounge up the cash. This combo would be a great addition for me.
Chien-Yu Chen
I have a wide range of Dewalt 20v tools and would love to try this battery pack out
Craig Wiener
I would use this driver for everything. I used to have DeWalt tools but now use Bosch. I would love to try out the new DeWalt tools.
Steve
Would love one of these. The atomic is on my shortlist due to the smaller size of it compared to the 887 I have now. Also want to start upgrading my 2-3 ah batteries over to the 5 ah PowerStack for increased power and charge time with the same weight/size.
Prkl8r
Would love to try these new batteries out! I am a yellow tool dude, so it would see some action in a couple drills, multi tool, jig saw, and a few portable lights. Love the idea of these lightweight batteries.
Robert
I would use this impact driver to rebuild my aging wood fence! And probably to build some shop furniture.
Minnesota Chris
I’d love to win this DeWALT 20V Max* PowerStack battery and Atomic impact driver kit. We have all dewalt tools, and it’ll go to good use in our cabinet business.
Bryce Harrison
I should win this because it’s available just like me when duty calls…
itsgalf
The Powerstack battery would be nice for my Dewalt OPE. Might pair it with the baby chainsaw.
The atomic impact driver would be icing on the cake. I like small powerful tools.
Thank you for all you do, ToolGuyd!
Trevor Freudenburg
I would love to use it for some very amateur woodworking!
Kyle Moritz
I would use this anywhere and everywhere. As a diy-er this would be my main driver. The battery pack would power my dewalt circular saw, drill, and jigsaw for my various woodworking projects.
Brandon B
I would love to try out the new PowerStack batteries to see how they perform. I’d use the impact for running in lots of screws doing framing.
matthew Snyder
It would be sweet to try this little impact and the power stack battery as well. I mostly do home projects/renovation on my residence.
Greg Mosbarger
I’d use this for all kinds of projects around the house.
Eric S.
It would be a gift to myself. The impact driver with the powerstack looks to be a winning combo that’s better in size & weight than my 12 volt. The battery i would try with each & every one of my yellow tools.
Andrew
For finishing up a winter coop.
Chris
I’d give this to a coworker who can’t afford one for himself
MKY
Lately my daughter has asked me to allow her to do more when she calls me over to her house for repairs etc. Quite a while back I purchased a Black and Decker plug-in drill for her which she has used when appropriate.
I believe this smaller driver with the smaller lighter battery would be easier for her to manipulate as she attempts to take on more projects.
TonyT
I would be using it for general household maintenance and making wood furniture and such. I love how compact the driver is, would love to compare it to my 12V impact driver, and would like to try out the new battery tech.
Tim williams
I would love to get this kit for when I’m on call in the middle of the night. I know my battery won’t die and I’ll have the torque to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Mostly will use it for removing and installing numerous amounts of screws on motors, panels, electrical switches, etc…
Vince
There’s always room in my ToughSystem stack to squeeze in another DeWalt cordless tool!! So much woodworking, so little time…
Joe
Another giveaway so soon? No complaints here. I would like to try the latest battery tech out. Co-worker has some of the Dewalt 20v stuff and loves it.
Liam Hudson
Old apartment with many things to fix and personalize….would start with that, and then maybe a tiny table and chair for my one year old!
Takhir
Would like to check how this thing operates. Difference between old one and new one. Would be a good addition
Layton Hood
Would love this too replace my aging Ryobi impact driver. Would use it for all of my dyi builds, home improvements, some automotive work. Impact drivers are so versatile.
Rick
Will be using the impact driver to reduce the size of my chore list.
Stephen M
This drill would be able to fit in many applications where I use a right angle drill. I’d rather use a drill in those situations but my current drill is way too long. This drill looks awesome.
Tyler Willmon
This Giveaway would be a perfect addition to my DeWalt line of power tools in my arsenal doing HVAC for a living. I recently got the 1.7 power stack and it has been the number one game changer item in my inventory! I would be using the tools in this Giveaway for my work in the HVAC trade and building and renovating my new to me house I bought in July! Thanks for this opportunity.
Norse
I am super curious to compare the atomic 3 speed with the premium xr 3 speed impact. I also am excited to see how the power stack batteries work in a number of higher demand tools. Pick me!
Matthew wyckoff
I would like to win those because I like the new technology that there coming out with, and I would use the impact driver for driving screws in remodeling, and the battery i would use to put on a small drill or impact driver.
Johnathon Walker
Would be super helpful for fixing up my boondock machine!
Tim
I’ve volunteered to make extensive repairs to my elderly in-laws deck. This would be such an improvement over my old Ryobi driver.
Sean H
Having recently moved, I’m trying to store everything and fix up the house to make it a home. I plan on using DeWalt to help install garage shelving, a workbench, storage options, and build some closet inserts for all the bedrooms. Cutting my teeth on that, I hope to do a kitchen remodel, myself!
Mitchell
I’d use it to install interior pieces in a shop my father and I have been building together with neither of us having any prior construction experience.
John Blair
I will just love it and hold it and raise it as my own.
Jeff
Love the compactness. This would be my new travel impact.
Spencer
I would add the impact and power stack battery to my growing inventory, as well as use it to put to shame my coworkers who prefer Milwaukee. It would allow me to continue fixing and fabricating furnaces, shit blasts, saws, waste water systems… And all other manner of machines at my job. Then who knows maybe use them both to solve world hunger, with DeWalt anything is possible
Eric H
I’d like to try the power stack battery in the weed eater and oscillating multi tool.
John C
As an electrician, this impact would be very beneficial in tight spaces that I regularly find myself in. Even if I do not win, I look forward to trying out the power stack 5ah battery in the future.
Rspanos
Would be great for the tools I use for a long duration like the fan and lighting.
Joe
Love to give it a try on the job to see how many hours o can get out of it
Brett Shore
My wife and I have 3 year old triplets and we are finally to a point where we can transform our current garage into 3 separate bedrooms for them. With the DeWALT PowerStack 5Ah battery and impact driver kit, I will be able to work longer between recharges and be more efficient with my time, which is invaluable. Thanks, DeWalt for continuing to improve your already stellar line of products.
Minions Web
Tiny powerful battery w a tiny powerful atomic driver? Who wouldn’t want that combo? Work & tasks done with less wear n tear? Easier to handle…fit in tighter spaces.
Pick me a winner random number generator!
Joey
I have a drill but no driver and this would be great!
JORO
I can always use a spare battery for my heated Dewalt hoodie!
Graysen Morris
The small driver would be great for electrical work (to get in-between studs). Also having the 5 Ah in a smaller package would be nice to have. Not having to worry about charge but also being small.
Manny
Good Evening, I just bought my first home in about a little over a year and I been trying to do some work in the house and this tools can be of great help with some of the renovation been trying to do on my own. Thanks
Michael Kaifetz
Would love.to put the powerstack batteries to the test.
Sjay
This will be a great addition to existing dewalt tool kit
Philip
I love Dewalt, and can’t wait to test out that 5ah powerstack vs all my other batteries
Aron
Use it for all the household projects. Awesome tool and amazing battery as well.
CountyCork
My neighbor gave me a nice dewalt flashlight and if I were to win I could finally remove the plastic casing to pare up with the powerstack and try it out. There is so many uses for a stubby impact and would be put to use right away on farm maintenance which is endless.
Joshua Clarkson
Never can have enough batteries, and that impact driver is super compact!
Bryan Cramer
I would really like to try out the powerstack battery to see how it compare to the standard batteries 2.0 and 5.0 that I run currently. The impact driver is a nice bonus I have one and it’s great, but another won’t hurt. 🙂
Kevin Swiontek
I would use it for everyday home projects.
ben
I’ve been doing a lot of home renovations recently and this would be really awesome to have.
Craig T
Don’t have an impact driver but definitely could use one when building my ADU. I’d let my Dewalts live there rent free.
Eugene Pak
I’m building a deck in the winter/spring and I could use this lightweight combo. I’d also like to have a couple of the 5ah batteries for my ocean boat and jet boat.
In a comment, tell us why you would want to win this DeWALT 20V Max* PowerStack battery and Atomic impact driver kit. What types of cordless power tools or applications would you use it for?
Garrett
I exclusively use DeWalt 20V for my construction business. I have the small power stacks and could really use a big one. The impact I use daily is significantly bigger than this atomic one and the smaller size would come in handy.
Brandon
I would use this impact pretty much every day. Between being a mechanic and fixing people’s cars who cannot do it themselves. Always helping someone work on something and I’ve always wanted and needed a good 20v impact just can’t afford one… Between 4 kids and other issues it’s just not in the cards. I love building things at home as well. Whether it be building something for my kids or fixing their swing set or making a porch swing for their mother. I would use it constantly. And would love to try out the powerstack battery. I’ve never used one. It would be an amazing help over my aging 12v stuff…
Dan V
This is the perfect combo! Tiny driver & compact POWER! I would use it for woodworking projects and general around the house projects. Also the battery would be great for my oscillating tool
Greg Hawkins
This would be a great addition to my collection of DeWalt tools. As a contractor daily use creates a lot of wear and tear so an update would be a welcome surprise.
Cr8on
I’ve been eyeing the Atomic Impact driver since it came out but now that I’m out of the construction game, I just couldn’t justify buying one. I still do all my household work and I’m the neighborhood “handyman” and my 887 has served me well.
Shawn Michael Sprecher
i would like to replace my aging craftsman c3 impact driver, it has seen much better days, and its time to look to the future.
David M
Hi, my name is Dave M.
I’m a contractor who owns and uses a lot of DeWalt cordless tools almost every day. The main tools I use are my impact driver, my drill, my Tarzan and circular saw.
If I won this new battery and impact driver I would put them to good use building houses and installing kitchens and bathrooms.
Fingers crossed!
Erik Grevenstuk
Changing all my tools to DeWalt cordless!
Mike+McFalls
I would records this to my father whose Dewalt nicd drill/driver bit the dust a few weeks ago. He won’t buy himself a new one and will just ask me for my tools when needed
Grady Fleitas
I own the 12volt extreme drill and driver and love it.
I use the driver/impact when we build parts of the door assembly on elevators. I picked the 12 volt bc of its size but it is lacking just a little power. So it would be really nice to have something with a little more oomph! If I were to win I would definitely put it to good use!!
Sean Getman
Powerstack 5Ah would get lots of use on any drill/driving application, light weight would be great especially for overhead situations. The atomic impact looks a heck of a lot more compact than the xr impact I currently have. I echo one of the above comments that I’ll use it anywhere it fits
Jeff
The Powerstack would go on my circular saw to cut 2 x 12s and the impact driver would probably fit in tight enough spots for limited access automotive work.
Mike
I would love to try the powerstack battery as all my old 2ah batteries are long in the tooth. The impact would go to my dad as his is on its last legs.
MFC
Honestly, I’d love to just test out that new 5ah battery and impact against my old xr impact and cell 5ah. My circular saw always seems a little underpowered even with a 5ah battery, so I’d like to see if it can keep up it’s rpms when cutting through PT or larger dimensional lumber (and who doesn’t like free tools?).
Merry Christmas Toolguyd.
Hans Buehler
I’m in the HVAC industry, in which we do mostly new construction custom homes. There many applications we could use an impact. We currently have the original non brushless impact, but the new Atomic is smaller, which would be good for tight spaces.
Wayne Costanza
I would use it with my new DCF891 to get the best power to weight ratio TTC has ever seen!
Jordman
I would use the impact when doing projects with my son and helping friends do home renovation projects. I would love to try the new 5ah powerstack with the cordless router to carve signs! Wish everyone good luck and happy holidays!
Brad
I’d use the Powerstack on my 15 and 18 gauge nail guns because those things really need a lightweight battery. And I’d give the driver and battery to my brother, as I already have that model and love it! Thanks and good luck everyone!
TR
I mostly use dewalt tools and love them, I have been wanting to get one of the power stack Battery’s and use it with the impact driver and the impact wrench. This kit would be great!
I have heard Positive things about the little power stack so I would like to see what the 5amp could do!
Brian B.
I’d try the powerstack out in drill, driver, jigsaw, chainsaw, oscillating saw, and grinder. All of which get lots of use at home and some of them near abuse at work
Cookie1034
I’d love to have a power stack for my drill, impack driver, and router
MoogleMan3
That impact has been on my short list for a while now. Like others said, it’s near right angle driver head size with the power of a full size impact. For now, I’d be using it on a job that has me securing heavy duty shelf brackets to studs for supporting workbench tops. I’m equally intrigued by the powerstack though I’ll be using that in bigger tools.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Mike
I love dewalt tools. A new impact has been on my list for some time.
Wayne
I would love to replace many of my smaller batteries with another power stack. It would pair perfectly with my hammer drill that I use in many demo projects
Mathew+W.
These will be a great powerful addition to my 12v MAX tools. I can tackle tougher projects with the larger tool and the 20v battery would be a great springboard for buying other 20v tools.
Michael Lombardi
Renovating my house with my soon to be fiancé can be a challenge with buying tools. A free new 5ah battery is just what I need while getting ready for the wedding.
Vlad
This is a great tool to make up electrical metering gear in these upcoming cold winter months.
Shankiv
This would be a great upgrade for my current dewalt impact that I’ve been using for the past 7 years
Matt B
Perfect impact driver to use working on our new (to us) house. 5ah power stack great for some of my existing power hungry tools and something on my wish list
Sean D
Plenty of power in a tight fitting package. Would love to use it to work on A/C’s.
Mopar4wd
I would like to win this driver to replace by current Ryobi impact driver with something smaller and more powerful. I would like to the powerstack battery in my oscillating multitool and jigsaw. It should be really nice in the OMT to keep weight down.
Jared
If I won, I’d work out more, improve my sleep schedule, and clean up my diet. That way I could keep up with the new battery’s additional power, work per charge, and lifespan.
DML
I’ve had my eye on the DCF850, but getting my hands on one with a PowerStack would be even that much sweeter!
Jose Pizano
Verifying that this is the best Path to the future of Dewal with its innovation. And use it in electrical installations
Zach
Have not used a PowerStack battery yet, would love to win this and try it out. I work for my father who is a general contractor and we do a lot of work with impact drivers. I still use the one that came with my 4tool combo kit 8 years ago pretty much every day. It has been an absolute beast but is starting to show its age. This would be an awesome replacement.
Torrey Hubbell
Light and right for tight places, this cool tool has a place reserved in my Ranger 4X. Ridgid always been good to me but time for a change say the men in DeWalt yellow. We’ll see …
Rick hdz
As a rookie framer I would use this impact to start my career and support my family
Kevin C
I’m currently all in on Makita tools which I mostly use for DIY projects around the house. Would be neat to see how DeWalt and power stack compares
Earl B
My wife and I thought we’d be “empty nesters”–but the kids had other plans. Now we find ourselves having to reconfigure rooms to accommodate everyone.
This awesome impact driver with the Powerstack battery will be a real godsend in knocking out these tasks, and making our home cozy and comfortable for the kids again. Hanging drywall, framing partitions, shelves, putting together beds and weird Swedish furniture –this fine DeWalt Atomic would do it all, and we’d be happy to make it the newest addition to our family, for years to come.
NICHOLAS A SANCHEZ
Have heard great reviews on the power stack battery would be nice to have one and try it myself
Adam
This would help with so many projects!
Alexis Pena
I will be revising my beat up through all 20 volts standard drill. It will be in a huge upgrade from it and I will be using it for all things at work as I do for my current one.
Dave
I have a roof top deck to build and it would be great to win this set. I have many Dewalt 20v tools, but not this better impact driver nor the battery.
Corey Smith
I would use it to build my kids a treehouse or clubhouse to escape and use their imagination. I would help the elderly with home repairs and other projects. I live in Detroit where some areas are in desperate need of repair. This gift will be truly inspirational.
Mikey C.
I have a bunch of older 20v Dewalt stuff, would be dope to upgrade the beat up impacts to one of these. We build architectural signs and interior branding, so the drills are heavily used.
Scott Scheibe
I have several Dewalt tools but not the impact driver
Senting
I had seen this at home depot shows for awhile, it look good and so compact. Like a my other right angle drill. I really want to win this set my friend had one it just so light and powerful, feel like the m12 from competitors but power kicking the m18
Brett P
With the dewalt driver and powerstack battery, work would be expeditiously increased. The light weight and extreme power will make carrying the tool around all day less damaging to my body. I look forward to new technology like this to improve life for us blue collar workers!
Dave (not here)
Stuart, thanks for the giveaway! I don’t expect to win, but thanks anyway for what you do.
My skilled laborer had his whole kit stolen a month ago, he’s a hardcore DeWalt fan while I’m a Milwaukee guy. We do property management, so I like to keep a variety of tools to lend out, but my team has a little bit of everything.
Before I knew he got robbed, I bought him an oscillating kit with a 1.5ah battery and one of the 4/6ah battery kits from Home Depot with a free angle grinder for a Christmas bonus. Afterwards I learned he lost his drill, impact, circ saw, and recip saw when a customer let an unlicensed sub on the job over a weekend.
Anyway, if you were to give my friend a chance at this giveaway, I’m sure he’d be happy to use the heck out of this impact and not only compare it to his old one but also to compare the lipo pack to the brand new 18650 packs I just bought him. As a professional writer before I became a contractor (lots of references available on request) I could even help him polish up an on-the-job review.
Whelp, that’s what I have to say – congrats and enjoy to the winner! I’m looking forward to some notes on how it goes soon…
David T
I have some projects involving tight corner and this compact driver will be a really good fit for the task.
HiggiML
I’m pretty happy with my DeWALT DCF887 so I’d be looking to gift it to a friend of mine who’s starting her power tool collection. Upon receiving and checking it out, I may change my mind, gift her my current rig and keep the prize for myself! 🙂 Win/win right?
Tjoneill15
I have a smaller stacked battery I would be interested to see how long the big one could keep a big led light on since that seems to eat through battery life. Also how long it would last in the outdoor tools.
Travis
I’ve noticed using the new version of batteries (4ah) is best for my one handed tools. It seems to balance the weight better for some reason! I’d love to get my hands on a 5ah. Thanks for a good product.
Steven C
I would love this tool to replace my current dewalt inpact that is dieing. I currently use it for work in auto repair. This would help out a lot.
Marcus Irizarry
I would use it for work putting up canopy for kids think it would be just right
Joseph Ruthven
I would give it to the person who in under two years became like family like a brother to me. He lost everything a few months ago when someone tossed a cigarette on near his saw dust/wood cuttings. Wood shop, shed, Garage, part of the deck and house. Hes a DeWalt man through and through. I can’t even turn him to my Allfather, Milwaukee. Anyways this is one step closer to getting him back where he was.
Matt Ward
Ever since AHR Expo 2022 and had the chance to Demo the power stack. I was hook. I use it on the daily for DIY and now for my work. Would be nice to expand the power stack family with the 5mAH battery and tool.
Kyle Dudgeon
This thing is practically a right angle driver. I’d use it anywhere it fits.
Todd Rafferty
I would love to win this! I need it to build a chicken coop and a 40×12 lean to off my storage building.
Poria
This thing will be a great addition to my collection. I have several projects in planning on this spring.
Mohanad M.G
I am an old Yellow 💛 & Black 🖤 DeWalter, & I like how reliable, long-standing thier power tools are. I have an XR 2Ah & 4Ah battery, 20/60 V 6Ah Flex. Volt Battery and I love to own the new line Power Stack.
Joe
I want to try the new battery
Dave Sutter
I’d use it to for my ongoing project to turn my half of the basement into a proper workshop.
Ryan
I would love to use it in higher draw tools that I use for a few minutes, like a grinder or sawzall. It would be nice just to throw it from a impact for a one time use and not drain the battery
NED M.G
I love how generous Dewalt Loyal Program as well as toolguyd.com for their great daily tool reviews, tool deals. So, I am active followers of toolguyd for daily reports, review and amazing deals.
Thank you Dewalt, Thank you Toolguyd
Jason
I’d use it to build a workbench, shelves, and mount other storage devices as part of my campaign to convert the garage into more useful space. I don’t have an impact driver, so I’d love to experience the difference between this and my old drill/driver!
Monte
I travel full time and remodel/ help build churches. Dewalt cordless are the only tools to use, they are incredible!
Cory Graves
It would go great with my dewalt hammer drill setup!
Lyle
This comment isn’t an entry for the giveaway, I don’t qualify since I live in Hawaii. I do have this impact driver. I have 4 or 5 Dewalt 20v impact drivers, this one is the newest. I got it because if it’s compact size. It’s not often that you need something this compact, but when you do it might be the difference between getting it done or not.
I really like the 1.7Ah PowerStack batteries and am looking forward to swapping out my 8 5.0Ah batteries with PowerStacks if there is a good deal on these in the future.
Daniel
I would love to try out a 5 ah PowerStack!
Dave Gress
This will go perfect in my garglage with all my other Dewalt tools
Jim
Run a construction training program with at risk youths. Typically we share tools since we provide them to the trainees. Would love another impact and battery to put into the mix.
Robert
I’m in process of doing some remodeling at my house and this would be a lot easier to use than the dewalt drill I’m using
Julfer
It’ll be nice to upgrade my current impact driver, it looks amazingly compact
Richard
I want to win because I already have a big pile of team yellow gear that would benefit heavily from the higher current capability–I am the kind of guy who owns the DCB104 for home use and am looking at getting a DCF900 when they eventually see some level of discount. After seeing the Torque Test Channel’s video on the new battery, I’m all about augmenting my uggas with more duggas. Good luck, everyone!
brandon
I am excited for the new battery technology, about time someone started making a dedicated power tool battery instead of cramming 18xxx cells in a box! I would use this driver to replace an older M12 impact that struggles with the hardwoods I am using in a kitchen remodel process. Given the current price performance ratio it might be time to switch to the yellow team 🙂
Jeffrey Myers
I am not one to do much for myself when comes to money. I provide and support our family 1st so the security is never in doubt. Their peace of mind is extremely important to me. I do not suffer on tools and get by with less superior than Dewalt.
I have been Dewalt user and supporter for years. My kids bought my 1st drill/driver set 8-9 yrs ago. It is still works today with same batteries. I cannot count how many projects they were used. No matter the amount of falls, drops or anything has effected their performance.
Expanding would be nice and winning this would be a greater addition. I spend hours at Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon looking at Dewalt anything they make. I very rarely even do comparison window shopping as Cordless Dewalt, drill bits, saw blades, and small parts storage is where my loyality is. Cannot say anything about the competition other than the pricing on the major competitor is a little far out of the everyday family. Dewalt has great reliable tools for inline price. I hope to get a deal for the Christmas sale as missed out on the Black Friday pricing.
Daniel Tran
Have the DeWalt brand a few years ago and love it so far, fan for life. Would love to win the PowerStack for my tools since I only have 1 battery. Would give my current impact to my father for DIY projects. I am recently a new home owner, first home so plenty of DIY projects to work on.
RONALD
Going to replace my old bulky, heavy
18v Craftsman drill . Would like a new Dewalt because it is lighter, more powerful, more compact , has more attachments and a light to see what you are doing .
Stephen M
I love how small this drill is. It will certainly fit in areas where my old drill wont. Id also love to try out the power stack battery to see if i should buy more.
David
It would be my first Dewalt tool, and I since I live in Florida, would use it to install hurricane shutters on my house.
Will Cooley
Been itching to try the new Powerstack, been a burden having to lug around a big 60v when I need to drive timberlocks, etc. Thank you!
Derek A.
I would use this to upgrade from my current budget-brand tools. I had a chance to use a friend’s DeWalt recently and couldn’t believe the difference between his and what I had been using!!
I’d love to have this for constructing my new basement workbench and shelving, as well as normal misc homeowner needs.
Michael R
I want to win to start getting into the DeWalt 20v platform. My old Porter cable set is getting worn out. I would use it for home renovations and repairs.
Alex
I have a new deck and a new kids’ swingset/play house on the docket for this summer and a new impact would be fantastic
Chuck+Forster
I’d very much be interested in seeing how the stacked lithium packs work when compared to similar offerings with Dewalt and Milwaukee. Ultimately, I would probably gift it to my buddy who is well stocked with the Dewalt ecosystem, and joy it would bring him would be worth parting ways with this.
Tristan
I work in welder repair and i use 1/4 inch bits and nut drivers almost exclusively. Even the harbor freight special im using right now has cut the time it takes to pull a cover off from eight minutes per machine to just under three. Needless to say im a big fan of impact guns for work.
Scott D Parker
Sure these would be great for my post hurricane Ian repairs. Tired of working around cords. Neighbors with De walt tools have nothing but praise for the brand. I could really use cordless to help around our community.
Chance
I have 3 of the different impact models and I have 5 of the current 1.7ah powerstack battery. the new atomic impact looks pretty versatile with the size and ergonomics so that would be cool to have another version. I am most excited about the 5ah powerstack because the 1st generation batteries have a noticeable increase in power however the small gas tank is a drawback so the larger AH would be a huge benefit
Tony Thompson
I would like to test out the new Dewalt products to see how they compare to the current Brands I own.
Marko
I already use several Dewalt tools with 5Ah batteries. I would prefer this powerstack battery because of its size.
Colin Hickey
My scraped knuckles and sore neck could benefit greatly from a compact tool that doesn’t have me doing contortions to fit in small spaces. This is just what the doctor ordered!
AlPine
This would be a nice addition to my fairly extensive Dewalt setup. I already have 3x drill, circular saw, reciprocating saw, grease gun, wead Wacker, pole saw, chain saw, deep bandsaw, and 2 older 5ah batteries and a couple of chargers. I am converting my land to an orchard and building a large cold weather greenhouse. I’m also restoring a f-350 and a Case 580b. I’m busier now that I’m retired 🙂
Chris H.
I only use DeWalt tools-no matter the job they get it done! This Power Stack combo would be a serious upgrade!
Raymond Norvell
I have other DeWalt tools so this would be a great addition! It’d likely become my go to for many tasks because of it’s compact size. Nice and easy to handle.
Bob
I would use the new impact to replace my older DeWalt that is getting tired. Looks like a great compact impact. Also would like to try the new PowerStack battery.
Charles Reynolds
My Flexvolt circular saw kit and XR impact driver kit amongst many other items were stolen by a former coworker and friend! I can’t replace them because of my financial status but it would be awesome to own the DCF850 kit with the new 5ah PowerStack battery and down the road someday I will get to replace everything! I like your reviews! Take care!
Nick
I could really use this with making drawers and cabinets. Also I only have a couple batteries so I definitely need more
Paul
I just had all my dewalt tools stolen and have been replacing the and battery wise I’ve got 4 -6ah flexvolts ,3 -6ah ,2- 5ah. 3 -4ah, 2 -2ah and 2 powerstacks I use them for work doing commercial windows and doors installation
Mackenzie
I would love to give this to my father so he could more efficiently destroy his house like Tim the tool man Taylor.
Floyd Cadogan
I lost my job of 10 years and I recently started in the construction field and I’m trying to build my tool kit. This would be an amazing addition as I only have a tape measure, a hammer, a power saw and am now trying to save up to get a drill and impact driver.
David azbell
This would be nice to replace my old 20v brushed impact and batteries. I do framing and renovation and the driver is my most used tool
Adam Lewis
I would love to win this to help build a new deck and fence this following summer. I currently have Porter cable tool. I would like to see how it stacks up
Dan Vance
I run my own remodeling business, and DeWalt has never failed me when I needed it most! I would love to add the new power stack batteries to my tools to put it to the test!
Tim
To replace my impact stolen at a job site..
Nathan S
I have slowly been building my Dewalt 20V kit. Tried the Powerstack batteries last summer and was impressed that they could run the 6.5″ circular saw, albeit not for that long. So i bought a 5Ah XR battery to get the runtime (then then 6Ah +4Ah deal at HD). Original Powerstacks run great on the DCD887 Impact. I’d love to try out the 5Ah Powerstack on a kids’ playhouse project and a chicken coop rebuild coming in the spring.
Shawn wright
I would use this for decks and every thing else as I own several power stack batteries they are amazing just wish they lasted a little longer, I am sure the 5 will last perfectly, my pals with the red brand will be so jealous I can’t wait!!
Gary B
I definitely can use more dewalt tools and ha e been wanting to try the new Powerstack batteries.
JTG
I’m interested to see how the pouch style batteries compare to the traditional cells. Plus, I’ve got a bunch of deck screws to drive.
KennyC.DewaltTools
I am big Dewalt fan but unfortunately I cant afford the Powerstack 5ah at this time. It will be a true blessing If I could win that battery.
Robb P
I’d use this to replace my aging Makita impact.
JasonLin
I am a makita guy but always want to try DeWalt out, especially the PowerStack Batteries. I would like to use it for deck trade, there are a lot of corners only short impact drivers can get into.
Dan
This would be great for the day to day in the field. I need to get one they are so much lighter and easy to carry around.
Mark Cornell
Mark c. I have used 20v half inch impact, for 8 yrs ,have the12inch chainsaw know use on the farm ,need extra 5hr batteries, leaf blower eats battery life, use for cleaning dust off combine every night. Works get.
Wayne
I’m stuck using a Ryobi impact right now , because my vehicle was broke into and I lost most my tools and haven’t been able to afford to replace them
Tony
I install garage doors so it would be put to the test. My Milwaukee is dieing.
Shawn+Y
I’m one who wipes down their tools to keep them looking in like-new condition. That said, of my 7 or so Dewalt 20V Max tools, the only one I’ve not been able to keep clean is my DCF895 impact and batteries. It’s my go to tool for everything small and big. It’s recently developed a strange issue where the LED doesn’t turn off. Cleaning the internals didn’t work. There’s no affect on performance but a second smaller and lighter impact would be an awesome addition so I can keep the old one for the dirty oily jobs.
Manny Alvrz
Being a handyman, I pride myself in getting in and out of a job knowing that I m carrying the correct tools for the job at hand. I also try not to leave a big footprint at a job. So lugging around heavy tools hinders my ability to do so. My Dewalt tools are my pride and joy. Organization is key and the small footprint of the power stack and reliability of its power output helps me get in and out. I want to be gone without a trace of me being there and my clients freaking love tht about me. That power stack line is the way to go. I remember walking in the city and the merchant selling knock offs would keep their merchandise on a blanket so if police came they would gather all 4 corner of the blanket and disappear into the crowd. That’s how I love to leave a jobsite no trace of me being there. That’s why I have returning clients, I don’t intrude on there space.
marco_pollo_emp
Would love to win this to help with all my honey doos the wife has around the house and my to do item of rebuilding my fence.
Gregory James
Hi, I’m a dewalt fan. I’ve got the dcf899 p2, and the addition of the powerstack would be nice. The dcf 899 is nice and is capable of performing many task such drilling in concrete in light work applications as well fastening screws. This is where the impact will come in handy. The bag will protect its contents safeguarding for more projects. The best part is I have 20v max so it will be compatible with powerstack 20volt max so I would love to see how both tools handle both sets of batteries.
Jim
I just started using Dewalt 20 volt tools. After years of using craftsman I have found the DeWalt tools to be superior.
Nick C
I’d love this as I’ve been teaching my son how to use power tools and this would be an awesome upgrade to my existing Dewalt set.
Evan Gall
Well my Ridgid gen5x brushed impact driver bit the dust. So I need a new impact driver. Have some projects that need done including rebuilding my shed.
Dan
As much as I like tools, one time I’d like to hold the winning ticket… I would
gift this to a nephew who will soon be graduating.
Chris
I would love to add another battery to my Dewalt lineup if 18 20v tools!
Eric
I could use this to build my studio, and just about every day on the job!
JMG
I would use it to compare batteries as well as against existing drivers in my tool kit.
Kevin
I am in the process of buying my house. I already have multiple projects planned for. This would come in handy with all my remodel projects
Rick C.
Like the other giveaway I would use this a lot as my friends go to handyman. Would be perfect for so many jobs!
Westin Alderdice
I’m a commercial metal stud framer and currently use and old 887. The new, more compact designt would help me In many applications as well as make me more efficient!!
Jesus
I would like to try the power stack batteries I work as professional painter and use the impact drill for drywall repairs I’ll be nice if I can get the chance to win these.
Boredoomm
Plenty of home improvement to use these on.
Jordan
I am excited to build out my dewalt set. This would be a great addition!
Bill
Would like to replace my current 12v drill. This one is so compact, could use it almost everywhere.
ShirleyTyler
As a woman doing things on my own This tool will be great to have. This will help me out alot.Great tool to have Love there product.
Jesse
I have an obsolete set of skil power tools and have been looking to upgrade to DeWalt in anticipation of a few home projects. I plan on building a detached school activity room for our kids whom we are home schooling. Not to mention I have toddler boys so I’m constantly fixing things in the home, so the DeWalt tools would definitely help me keep up repairs so that the big bad wolf can’t blow the house down.
Mathieu Dubois
We’re planning to buy a really old home, and having the new Power stack 5ah would allow us to do more intense work for longer before needing to recharge. Since there is no power yet at the house, it would give us a huge boost early on.
Adam R
Considering getting into a new tool brand. Winning this would allow me to try Dewalt. If they are as good as I’ve heard, I’d make the switch.
Paul
Paul
I own and operate Sunrise Handyman LLC.
I use tools like this every day. It would be nice to keep one less big 20v battery home. I am transitioning all my tools to DeWalt cordless. They just plain work.
Kevin
I’d use it for building a dining room table. Have it as a new project and I’m planning on getting the dewalt table saw a well.
Rod
Over the last 2 years, I have been switching all my tools over to Dewalt 20v models, as well as my outdoor equipment too. I have several fixer upper houses in the family that need a lot of remodeling work & the impact drill would be perfect, as would the new Powerstack batteries, since some the work will require a lot of drilling into concrete & steel. The 6 tools I have now have exceeded all my expectations and I will continue to buy more as time goes on.
GConDewalt
I’m a general contractor. I’ve been on the XR/Flexvolt platform for about 4 years and have virtually every cordless dewalt and battery tool i could want (i don’t even count them anymore). I’m even gonna buy the cordless riding mower with the super expensive batteries once they get it right and it stops catching on fire. So it’s safe to assume when the new powerstack batteries are released I’ll have a couple of them regardless. What i really want is another dcf850! Currently i run up to 5 impacts (3 dcf887, 1 dcf850 and 1 m12 fuel surge) and the dcf850 is by far my favorite! So much so i considered selling all my other impacts and replacing them with the dcf850, but that was before the price point on it increased by 50 percent. If i win, I’m gonna put that battery to work and beat the hell out of it.
Daniel Schmidt
In the process of replacing all of our power tools with dewalt on our farm, could really use a second 1/4 impact, bought one last year and we use it almost every day, also I am interested to see how the power stack would do ice fishing…
Raymond Yip
Cordless tools like an impact driver would make my car ministry so much more efficient! I use hand tools right now to help fix cars for coworkers and friends, and an impact driver would be next level stuff for what I do!
A W
I would gift this to a co-worker or friend from church.
I’m on the M12, M18, Ego and Ryobi systems and would rather not add an extra charger to my workbench.
Mitch
My wife and i build a haunted house in or driveway for Halloween every year. We have over 2,000 people visit. We make most of the props ourselves. This our primary use of my collection of dewalt cordless tools which now includes 2 drills, a router, a jigsaw, a multitool, and a reciprocating saw. I have yet to go cordless for my circular saw, table saw or chop saw. Love my tools but thinking the 5ah battery and impact driver would be great additions.
Isaac
I already have a couple of the 1.7ah powerstack batteries, but I don’t have the new atomic impact driver.
Looks like a beast though, and have heard really good reports about it!
I would most likely use it all over.
Probably at work first, where I would use it every day, installing tvs and all kinds of other stuff.
And if the new 5ah powerstack and atomic impact turn out to be as good a combo as people say, I’ll definitely be buying a set for my dad.
Go Dewalt!!
SomethingBrutal
I’m remodeling the bathroom right now. I have another brand but got a Dewalt oscillating when the smaller powerstack came out. I was eyeballing this impact because of how compact it is. I’d also be all set with these batteries.
John
Awesome kit. I’d run a saw, drill , driver , chain saw………like all day!!
Casey
I’d use it to install windows boxes and shelving at my new home.
Kris
Commercial HVAC install. I used to do mostly service so pretty much anything driver would work but I’m doing more install and construction and finding out the brushed motor driver I have is getting bogged down.
AC
Happy holidays. I’d use the Powerstack battery with the new impact and my many other Dewalt tools (saws, grinders, drills) for work.
Saulac
Working on a light duty winch powered by cordless drill/driver. One of the issue is the shape/size of most drill/driver would make the whole set up bulky/awkward. This one might do the trick.
Bud
I want reliability and Dewalt has it. Simple as that.
Darius DeSpain
This is far smaller than the other impact drivers out there. I’d use this as a right angle driver, smaller driver to carry around, whatever it works for. The variable speed would also be awesome for control
Gregory James
I just realized what you said. It is indeed a more compact model which would make easier to use in smaller spaces that dewalts larger models unreliable.
Dante Angeles
I have been using DeWalt power tools for years. My 2 18V XRP cordless drills are still working fine. The same thing with my circular saw, saws all and trouble light. I believe the 20V lineup would be a nice addition/upgrade to my DeWalt power tools investment.
Kyle
Looking at adding to my tool collection. I work maintenance in a metal fabrication shop and work on project at home.
William E Mahn
This would be awesome! I used to be a Craftsman believer, I still am as far as hand tools, but DeWalt won me over years ago. I build mobile Command Posts and the guys I work with have almost convinced me to go with Ryobi because of the number of tools that can be used with the One+ system. This would reinforce my belief in DeWalt and maybe convince some non-believers.
Joe+L
I’d like to try both the atomic driver and the powerstack battery combination and see if it significantly reduces arm fatigue when in overhead conditions.
Leo Tam
Need to build a patio table for the summer! This thing looks great for tiny spaces
Josh H.
I would love to use this to help build some storage shelves in the garage. The size is great and it could easily fit in tight areas with the smaller head. The torque specs show that it still has plenty of power to get the job done. Would love to see the capabilities of the new powerstack battery as well!
Leo Pierson
To teach my Granddaughter to build.
David
I would like to try the smaller driver for cabinets installations. Interested to compare to my 15 year old 20v that still is my daily driver.
Brandon
I work on dental equipment and this compact driver and battery would be perfect for the right spaces and small equipment
Joel Brito
I started a company and have donated all my power tools. I would love to get a nice upgraded tool for the house without having to dig somthing up out of a busy truck.
Allan T
I would gladly use this to help put up my new metal building. My original shop burnt along with all the contents. Thanks for the opportunity to enter.
Angel
I am in process of updating all of my power tools and this would be an amazing addition. I am a DYIer and have lots of projects to take up around the house.
Jeremias
I need this upgrade so bad 😩
Ralph Chiodo
I am carpenter of 29 years. I could use an upgrade to my current impact.
CameronJ
Why would I want it?: It would be nice to have a battery and drill to replace the three 5ah batteries destroyed from simply leaving them in 18v drill, saw, and grinder with the DCA1820 18v to 20v over the weekend. So nice in fact I might stop complaining about it constantly.
What would I use it for?: I guess this would be used for screwing stuff up or in, and not necessarily in that order.
CarolynB
I love power tools and all dewalt
kevin l
waiting for so long to see a great package deal with this type of battery. good luck to all.
Jbongo
I have a bunch of cabinet screws to put in soon. It would be great for that!
Becky Heinzeroth
My sweet husband is retired and and loves woodworking and is gifted..so gifted that whenever there is a need for a wheel chair ramp around our area (a lot of senior citizens in our area) he is called to help build one. He does the majority of the work, never ever charges anyone and always does a great job . It often takes two days to get it done and when it is he is worn out. Dewalt is his tool of choice. Please consider him.
Chris May
This is a definite buy for our tools at work. We build and install boatlifts all over the U.S.
Having to switch in the middle of a job is a pain. This would also allow us to not need to take as many batteries on the dock, compared to the standard batteries. Really looking forward to checking it out when they release.
Turbobrick
It is time to replace my well used and we’ll borrowed 18v tools. I have friends that could used a permanent loan of my older stuff.
Danny Tidwell
If I was to when this impact driver kit with the dewalt 5ah power stack battery I would use it as a reminder not to ever purchase tools from dewalt because there garbage and possibly save money by not buying crappie tools in the first place.
Jon Heideger
As an electrician, I would use it to drive self tapping metal screws; every day, and many times a day. I have always used my standard drill/driver with mediocre torque and I think I’ve been missing out on what an impact has to offer in this application!
Robert
I work in my home shop every week. I currently have three DeWalt drills which I love! My wife bought me my first nice drill 15 years ago, it was a DeWalt. It finally died last year. Since that time I’ve been a DeWalt fan. The quality is awesome and the versatility is incredible. I just started buying the tool bit, drill bit sets that stack. Love em. A new power stack battery and driver would be a wonderful addition to my shop.
Damian
I’m am electrician and this is a tool I use daily. I’m a die hard dewalt guy and would definitely be able to run this thing through the wringer and see if the claims are true. I love the atomic series and have been using it for a while now.
Mosh
Would be a Gr8 upgrade for my now old dcf886.
Smaller than my m12
Thanks! Stuart
Tabitha Olson
I am super excited at having this in my arsenol of tools.
Whiskey Creek
What intrigues me the most is the form factor of the atomic series matched with the slimmer 5ah battery. Ideally it should be lighter when hanging off my belt.
Dave
Im a woodworker who needs to replace some of my aging power tools. This would be the kickstart to get into a whole new line that I’ve been watching since the atomic line was introduced.
Jason
I would like to see how these new batteries compare with the old ones, and you can never have to many cordless tools.!
John
Looks cool! I do commercial construction so I would use it for that.
Andrew D Speed
My name is Drew,i just started to get into diy remodeling and working this year. I bought a second-hand DeWalt handplaner and most recently table saw and planer, but all of my handheld curls cordless power tools are Ryobi. I’m ready to see if there is such a huge difference and if it’s time to start making the upgrade.
Bob
Everyone of my dewalt cordless tools are some. I have learned dewalt cordless tools can’t be beat. I build decks to cabinets . This smaller head would definitely help alot
Mopar
Still working on 2 different homes in 2 different states, so having tools I can leave in one place is helpful. Also, already invested heavily in the Dewalt line, and have been drooling over that new powerstack battery.
Daniel Roche
I started a job with a remodeling contractor so this would be a great help building out my tool kit!
Daniel Jackson
I’ve seen an early report bt. this new 5AH Powerstack and the 6AH Flexvolt where power output is supposed to be equal. If love to see if that is true. This battery could really reduce weight when working overhead with certain tools. I’ve been a DeWalt user for over 30 years and the latest line of 20v XR and Flexvolt Tools are fantastic… making a tool lighter would make them even better!!
MICHAEL Lee DAVIS
DeWalt has the best tools by far
natosha m
I honestly want to win this for my mom. She loves working with tools and her hobby, as well as being a handywoman in a job she worked. She just enjoys repairing and building. It’s her skills and joy, which make this a perfect gift to give her! It’s a brand I feel that really stands far above any other tool brand! it’s the most powerful, near Pro choice for building and creating anything. 😊
Clayton
I do have a 20V MAX impact, but it came with a tiny battery and is showing its age. A replacement a high-quality spare battery would certainly be useful for day-to-day home repair. Maybe my old one could become my take-to-work beater to use in place of their aging Ridgids.
lowpro
This would be great to win to replace my DeWalt impact driver that has a broken trigger. I am a carpenter and use an impact every day at work. Going without one these past few weeks has been tough. Also would love to try out the new Powerstack batteries, they seem like a great upgrade for anyone!
Justin
I have almost every tool that DeWalt makes, so naturally I “need” the newest battery and drill tech. It looks like a winner for me being a finish carpenter.
Anthony
I need a good driver. Lots to do here.
David Jones
The smaller powerstack battery is awesome! I can’t wait to get my hands on the new 5 Amp version.
Ryan
Perfect combination of power and size to fit tight spaces. I think it would compliment my right angle drill and enable be more productive.
Jeanne Coulombe
Oh we would use this for the house we are doing repairs my husband would love this!
Brent Smith
Why wouldn’t I want the newest and greatest. 🙂
Sue Brandes
Husband could use for his work.
Jeremy
Something that light and small would be a great everyday carry
Jo Ricker
I want to win because I don’t own anything like this.
Constance Muir
As a single female, it’s always helpful to have tools handy when doing minor repairs and maintenance around my condo. I do not own anything like this.
Joe K
I don’t have any power tools other than an old drill. I’d like to upgrade to power tools rather than doing it the hard way, so this would be a good start. The impact driver would make it much easier to drive in screw, fasteners and the like. The battery would just add to the ease of getting work done .
Tyler G
I’d like to win the DeWALT 20V Max* PowerStack battery and Atomic impact driver kit because it’s a must have for anyone who uses their hands and 90% of my tools were stolen a few months ago. It’s costing me a fortune to replace them.
Michael
My old Dewalt batteries are no longer working. I need a new battery setup.
Andrew C Epping
As a self employed builder, I would love a new driver! I’ve been using Craftsman tools for most of my time, because that’s all I can afford right now, but I’m starting to think I need to upgrade a bit.
Sarah
This looks like a good setup to give to my dad for automotive work.
Eugenio R Juarbe
This type of driver is my single most used tool. I really think this one would shine while working on cars. Specifically in areas where my normal driver wouldn’t fit and where my cordless ratchet would not have enough power. The potential instances where it could be used in this manner will be limited but it will be huge convenience when it can be used.
Janice
I need one of these and it looks like a good one.
3FingerJim
No special reason, other than I’m toolaholic.
blkirsch
I would replace my older and brushed impact driver with this smaller and lighter driver, and would use it for fencing repairs.
tyler stegall
With a collection of 40 plus tool I’ll find something to to use it for
S Riches
I have several DeWalt tools and would like to add an impact driver to the set.
Rob B
I use this because my old cordless drill just isn’t working up to snuff anymore.
Mike
I have had several other name brand cordless driver sets; drills, impact, saws, and none of them come close to DeWalt!
The impact driver would be the perfect edition to my tool box. I do all my own work on my jeep, with ratchet and socket, but having the impact drill would make it SOOO much easier. My son, a master mechanic, dogs on me all the time since he uses battery tools and I am still “back in the stone ages”. This will help me keep up with him! Darn whipper snapper!!
Erik
I’ve seen the bundles of PowerStack batteries with newer and newish tools but I’d like to see if there are noticeable power benefits using them in other tools. After all, they are still pricey and I don’t expect DeWalt to lab test their whole tool line.
In particular I’m curious how they might benefit the brushless compact router and some of the smaller outdoor tools.
Erik
Rachel
I’d like to win because my previous drill burnt out. I’d use this one to build a bookcase
Josh Bryan
I’ve recently gotten into woodworking and DIY projects at home during my spare time. Most recently I started building my wife a new desk for her to do her artwork on. This tool would sure come in handy for some of these projects where I could use a dedicated driver.
Wade Bennett
I have used Dewalt cordless tools ever since they were released for use. I have always been impressed with the quality and durability of these tools. Dewalt always seems to make great improvements to their cordless tools. I use a drill or impact driver everyday in my work, and would be happy to try the impact driver out and put it through its paces along with the battery that I have heard so much about. Just to see if it is what it is cracked up to be
mary rudy
We would use this in any number of ways. We’re currently renovating our own house and have other properties where it would be used.
Cassandra D
Definitely use for a couple of DIY projects.
James Mathatas
I would use this new 5ah pack in my Chainsaw, Hedge trimmer, Sawzall, heck any of my DeWalt 20V tools. Currently I’m using a 20V adapter for my old 18V impact so an upgrade would be awesome and much less bulky when doing DIY projects around the house.
Jim
Winning this would help with my transition from DeWalt 18Volt to the 20 Volt Dewalt platform.
John Aronson
OMG when I saw this contest I knew what I wanted for Christmas !!!! Yes, Yes and Yes. Merry Christmas & Ho ! Ho ! Ho !
jane jakins
to start building my power tools
Jonathan Sorensen
Been using Dewalt exclusively for nearly 20 years. The go-to tools on almost every one of the 15 or so Habitat for Humanity home builds I was involved with. Got quite a few after job site completions, at a great discount (12v / 18v era) — have been working the past 5+ years to expand my 20v collection. To include automotive tools — love the compact sizes with increased power/torque — keeps my old CJ-7, motorcycles, Tomcar UTV and other toys on the road. Even come in handy on the boats & pontoon on occasions. Plus, easily portable with Tough System 2 boxes (about 15 of them) and rugged & easy to throw in my Decked system drawers in my truck bed — #Dewalt4Life
Lisa P.
I’d use it around the house for so many things. I’m trying to learn to use tools and fix things myself, so this would be great to have. A family member could help me learn to use it. The battery pack would be great for so many tools.
Brad B.
I would use this around the house for auto and home repairs.
JohnD
I already have the Atomic driver. Great tool. It would be re-gifted to my brother in law. The Powerstack on the other hand may not make it too him 🙂
Merry Christmas!
Colt
I’m a field service tech in locations where it’s hard to plug anything in… I’d use this all over the place! Not to mention the battery would run my drill as well!
Marlene Seibold Rose
I would like to win so I can give it to my husband as a surprise gift. He would use it a lot fixing things in our house.
Bill McCafferty
Never owned a dealt of my own always used others when on our construction jobs because I needed the money to keep a roof over my kids heads just couldn’t afford the dewalt tools.would use it for all the projects that I have God willing I will own one one day
Angelica
I want to win the DeWALT 20V Max PowerStack battery and Atomic impact driver kit to help with my DIY gut remodel! We’re midway through a complete overhaul of our 1932 home. It’s been a wild ride and these 90 year old studs have run us through a few battery powered drivers already. I think the DeWALT 20V would actually put up a fight and survive the abuse we’d throw at it with our old house.
Cindy Peterson
This would be a gift for a handyman who had their tools stolen.
T Sylvester
I want win this DeWALT 20V Max* PowerStack battery and Atomic impact driver kit. because I am poor and currently unemployed and perhaps with some good tools I could find work again. What types of cordless power tools or applications would you use it for? I like building small projects and working with my hands on tiny tech stuff and big tech stuff.
Joe
I want to win this because I want to upgrade away from my standard batteries.
Israel Goldshmid
i would give it to my son to help him build up his tool box
Brian l
Need more tools and would use everywhere thanks for the opportunity
Ashley c
My husband would love to have it because he has tons of home improvement projects
elizabeth miller
I would absolutely love to win this for my husband. He has been at his job for 35 years and typically does not buy himself super good tools that would make his job easier and this would be amazing for him.
Bryan S
I just bought a fixer upper house and it needs a lot of work. This will definitely come in handy? I need all the help I can get with this house.
Dennis McGinnity
I’ve used dewalt cordless tools exclusively since they came out. I have both atomic and the xr lines. I love them! I recommend them to all of our carpenters. I’m intrigued by the power stack innovation and would welcome they opportunity to take it for a test drive!
Sheryl Jensen
This would be awesome for my son whos ex sold all his tools so he has to restart.
Roy Olson
Having recently purchased a fixer upper, This will come in handy!
Brennon Hawkins
I want the DeWALT 20V Max* PowerStack battery and Atomic impact driver kit because it is clearly the power-tool I need for my onsite maintenance position. I would use it in remodels, cabinet installation, decking, and much more.
Mikeee
I would like to try the PowerStack battery powered tool
Ron C
Hi,
My craftsman drill finally died after 10 years of use. Motor seems fine, it’s the trigger assembly. Anyway, looking to replace it and this Dewalt looks like a great replacement.
Tim
I am in property management, so I use a wide variety of tools in my day to day activities, and an impact Driver is used on almost a daily basis. I have several tools in the Dewalt 20v platform, but I do not have this.
Tim Butterfield
I’d like to try some dewalt tools
Taylor Strickland
This will be a much needed upgrade to my impact driver. I have an xr that doesn’t hold a bit any more and will work when the trigger is pulled only when it wants to.
I’ve always loved dewalt and have gone cordless with all of their products. I plan on using this impact driver to help with my business of being a handy man and handy dad. From repairing garage doors to building tree houses for my son’s, this tool will only add to the dewalt arsenal at my disposal to tackle any core to come my way!
Alana Neville
This would be great as my husband and I’s other DeWalt set the batteries don’t hold a charge anymore and half the tools are slow. That set is about 15 years old so definitely time for an upgrade. DeWalt tools are expensive though, and we can’t afford to buy a brand new set currently so this would be a blessing. Thanks for the chance to win!
DEB Cohen
Would be perfect for hubby he is always suggesting he wants an impact driver with adjustable settings.
Brenda
We are Full Time RVers and that would work great on many things on our RV. We have the older batteries and tools, but with what I have heard on these new batteries, would love to see how well they work and charge for what we need. Great to give the RV group a heads up on it, as I know some have the older ones.
Paul Gardner
nice tools would use to build cabinets
Howard McLean
I am a black and yellow man and all my tools are Dewalt. I have wanted this Atomic impact driver for a long time. The addition of the PowerStack battery platform is icing on the cake. I use an older Dewalt XR impact exclusively for my wood projects assembly. The smaller size of this tool would also let me get into tighter spaces. This is a great giveaway on a great tool.
Penny LeBaron
I’d like to win this to replace everything I lost
JeanD
We are doing some real major repair work on our little home. Having a quality tool like this would be a big help. Most of the tools that we own are rather old, so having a Dewalt would really be a plus.
Randy A Nichols
I’ve used DeWalt tools for years, and I’m gradually replacing the hand-me-downs (which still work great, even after several years of use!). As for specifics of usage, my wife and I abuse the heck out of Pinterest with all the ideas we try out, from woodworking to Christmas decorations and all crafts in between.
If I had one complaint about DeWalt tools, I’d say it’s their longevity. I still have a 12-V drill that works, and anytime I tell my wife I need a new drill, I get to hear “there’s nothing working with the one you have!”
Bryan Feitknecht
I am a huge DeWalt fan..I had the whole flexvolt line until I ran into hard times and had to sell a lot of my tools..this would be a great blessing to rekindle my power tools obsession..I hear these power stack batteries are the best of the best…I’d love to find out for myself
Peter L Hoh
I’d be delighted to win this. I expect to be doing some light carpentry in January, so this would be driving construction screws into 2x4s. Once it warms up, I’ll be leading classes in which we will be making planter boxes and raised beds. Pretty sure that this will drive TimberLOK screws into cedar without breaking a sweat.
I’ve got a few other DeWALT 20v tools. They’ll have to take turns sharing the 5Ah battery. The only downside is that I’m going to need to upgrade my other batteries after I get used to this one.
Kevin
Slowly building my arsenal of DeWalt products and would love to try the new Power stack battery! All my fix-it jobs around the house are fun and quick with the 20 volt series.
Jim
Many uses for this… Just started finishing basement.
Bill Hall
Mostly home repair and renovation type work for this tool. Most my Dewalt tools are the older brushed tools so it would be nice to start upgrading to the brushless.
Justin Sparks
Im a big DIY kind of guy but also work and fix everything around my owm home.
Doug N
The compact impact would be a great upgrade. And the 5.0 powerstack would pair nicely with the mid torque impact wrench, as well as the usb power adapter. I like that the pouch cells offer about 1000 recharges instead of 500 over their lifetime.
Todd N
I would use it to build exhibits for trade shows!! Plus I’m bummed I missed out on the special pricing on this last year.
MSP2
I could finally replace my 30 year old Makita that I inherited from my father. Never been able to buy my own tools due to costs, it’s either bread on the table or a tool that I only use about once a month.
Cassandra
My dad and I have been working on fixing our house and rebuilding cars since I was little! This would absolutely make his Christmas!!
Dale H
Would love this compact! I do remodeling and having an impact that could fit between right studs and have the power to push through multiple would be awesome.
Jerry Dueck
Sweet! This would make my job so much easier. No hauling cords around.
Brian
I would use that in my upcoming work bench project.
Conner Lea
I have been looking into getting a nice drill for myself and would love to get into the Dewalt system
Richard E
Would love to try out this combo. The new Powerstack battery configuration (which I’ve been eyeing for new supplemental battery additions), coupled with the ultra-compact impact driver, would be a great addition to my Dewalt tools. I’d really like to compare the Powerstack battery to my newly purchased 5ah standard battery pack, specifically with my tools that have high power draws like my compact sds compact driil/driver, seawall, and framing nailer.
Jeff B
I haven’t gotten my hands on a PowerStack battery yet and I’m looking forward to seeing how it compares to their normal batteries.
I only have a couple of DeWalt products and I’d love to try this drill out.
And, lastly, my son would love to get his hands on my DCK278.
Matt
Currently heavily invested in the Kobalt 24V line and would like to upgrade to DeWalt. This would give me a good chance to start. If you have one power tool line it’s almost an unwritten rule to add to it and start collecting that platform. Currently used my current collection to buld several decks, diy jobs and build own house.
Thomas
Everyone is sleeping on this model. This is the best powerful impact tool combo out there in the market. The amount of torque it generates for its size is simply mind-blowing. Once you pair that with PowerStack battery, you get the top of the line performance. I’m planning on building a wooden deck myself and hoping to use the best tool out there like this one!
Yih Chyuan Looi
I want to win, as I want to see for myself if the Powerstack batteries live up to the hype, and also I want one of the modern impact drivers that have the different speed settings on them. I would use it when I redo my desk this summer, and like I wrote earlier, I want to see how if the Powerstack batteries stack up in real world situations
DWest
Being a handyman It would be easier to list what I wouldn’t use it for. So many different things come up on a daily basis I could just start a list the day I got it and have it be to long and boring by the 3rd day. Like placing concrete anchors, freeing frozen bolts in old foundations and steel beams that need repaired. Not to mention what i would use it for in my daily life as I always seem to be doing engine work on friends and my own cars. Plus I have a problem with spending the money I make on myself and usually end up pitching in to help someone with a project I’m working on for them. Makes me happy to make someone’s life easier.
Zack
