Did Someone Say FREE Disposable Glove Samples?

Microflex Black Dragon Nitrile Gloves

There are a lot of ways for you to select the disposable gloves that best fit your needs and wants. Once you determine what type you want (e.g. latex vs. nitrile vs. vinyl vs. chloroprene vs. neoprene), you could look at things like palm thickness, finger thickness, tensile strength, overall length, and elongation.

Sometimes, you do need to look at numbers and specifications. But other times, you just need a glove that’s comfortable and durable enough for your needs, and selection is best done by trying out a couple of different styles.

Microflex, one of my favored glove brands, allows you to request samples of up to 5 different styles of their disposable gloves. A while back I received a free sample box of Kimberly Clark gloves, but that seems to have been a one-time thing.

A few years ago I requested a few Microflex samples, and that’s actually when I started liking their SafeGrip latex gloves for tasks that require greater puncture protection. Before that, I was completely unaware that there were gloves that filled the gap between the disposable nitrile gloves and reusable gloves I had been using.

You could look at each of the different styles of gloves Microflex offers, which is what I probably did years back, but there’s now a product search wizard that helps narrow down the selection by quite bit.

And if you like the gloves you try, Amazon typically has good prices on individual boxes of Microflex gloves. That’s where I bought my last couple of boxes from.

These days I use Microflex Supreno SE (basic nitrile), Supreno EC (extended cuff), and SafeGrip (extra-thick latex) gloves, all powder-free.

I signed up for samples of the Black Dragon Zero, NeoPro, Ultraform, UltraSense, and Xceed glove styles.

If someone tries the Tranquility gloves, I’d love to hear what you think about them!

That happened to me the first time too. I hit the *back* button, tried it again, and it worked. Thought it was just a random issue with my browser, but their server might be hiccuping.

Thank you very much for this information Stuart. I’ll always take free samples. I wonder if I’ll receive these though. As 3M never sent that helmet and some of other companies have promised other items only to never receive them.

It always burns me when I sign up for a sample and never receive one either.

I’m hoping that Microflex honors sample requests, and don’t see why they wouldn’t.

A few glove samples turned me into a repeat customer, and so I imagine that might be a common outcome.

This has happened to me several times, so whilst this annoying, I am not surprised anymore. I wonder if by sample they only mean one pair though.

I’ve never heard of Microflex until today, but here is hoping that they do honor their sample requests.

I picked the diamond, color touch Dragon Zero, Xceed and Safe Grip.

If I recall correctly, they send 1 or 2 pairs and a couple of sizes for each.

I’ve been looking for a new kind of Nitrile glove lately. Now my only issue is going to be finding the one that I actually want in Canada.

Just received a confirmation number so that tells me that they aren’t kidding and are sincere about sending out these gloves.

3M and other companies that provide samples should be taking notes. If you are going to offer free items, don’t just talk a good game and actually take action.

Thanks for the heads up! I put an order through on Friday for free samples. No shipping confirm yet, but I hope they do send them. I’ve been using HF gloves mostly because they are accessible. But even the second thickest nitrile glove they offer routinely punctures around my fingertips when working on the car. I can go through 2 pairs of gloves just doing something mundane like an oil change. Hopefully I’ll find something suitable in the samples they send.

Got a confirmation yesterday that they processed the request. I hope one of these works better for me than the stuff I have been using.
