Over at Home Depot, today’s deal of the day features a selection of Milwaukee tools.
One of the Milwaukee tool deals took me by surprise – their 3″ Hardline flipper folding knife is on sale for just $25. This is a pretty good knife, and that is a fantastic price.

Picked up the knife. I wasn’t ready to spend the list price so I’m excited to see what d2 steel and bearings are all about

I snagged that knife too. Didn’t need the other stuff. Of course, I didn’t need the knife either, but that price is hard to beat. Thanks, Stuart!

I’m in for a knife

Same as the rest, I’ll give the knife a try at the reduced price.

Knife is out of stock at Amazon, where they’ve matched the price at $24.97. But Amazon let’s you order at this price and get product when it’s back in stock.

I noticed that too, and sent an email to Milwaukee. That might just be some kind of search engine strategy, since as far as I am aware, Milwaukee is still not selling tools directly to or through Amazon.

Ordered the knife from Amazon when this post came out. The knife was in stock, but about a week later Amazon sent an e-mail cancelling the order. I called them up and was like WTF? If you’re going to let me order it and it is in stock, then you should honor the price and not cancel the order. They agreed and let me order it again at the crazy list price but they credited back the difference. When I finally got the knife I was sorely disappointed. This thing shipped dull. It’s not even worth $5. Nothing special about it at all. Did they send me the wrong knife? Did anyone actually get a decent knife? Milwaukee should be ashamed to have their name on this piece of junk.
