Earlier today I posted electron micrographs of high quality diamond particles. This series features images of lower-grade particles. Because these diamonds are of a finer grit direct comparison is not really appropriate, but you can still see the dramatic differences in appearance. These diamonds are coarse at 40-60µm in size, and they appear to be broken-up bits unlike the nicely faceted particles shown in the other post.
