Home Depot has new tool deals of the day for 6/9/25, as well as new Pro tool deals of the week, on top of the Father’s Day tool sales they have going on right now.
The tool deals of the day focus on Milwaukee and Ryobi tools, with some Dewalt and Ridgid mixed in.
As usual, Home Depot’s limited time sale features a selection of cordless power tools, power tool accessories, hand tools, and a couple of corded tools and equipment.

Their Pro tool deals of the week features cordless power tools and accessories, automotive and mechanics tools, and a bunch of Husky workbench and garage storage products.
I highly recommend looking through the deals of the day, as there are a lot of new promos and some nicely priced bundles.
There are also some deals you should skip. For example, Home Depot has the Dewalt 20V Max 3Ah cordless power tool battery on sale for $49 today. Acme Tools and others have it for $39.
Milwaukee ratchet wrench sets make appearance at a good price. The deals of the day features separate SAE and metric sets at $159 each, while the deals of the week has a set of both for $319.
There are new inclusions, such as Dewalt digital torque wrenches, and recurring bargains, such as Ryobi’s cordless cut-off saw.
Some of the deals require a little background research. HD has the excellent (in my opinion) Dewalt cordless air compressor in a bundle with a FlexVolt 6Ah battery for $279. The air compressor regularly sells for as low $219. This bundle basically gives you a FlexVolt battery for $60 more, or even less depending on where you grab your prices from.

The deals of the day end at 3am ET 6/10/25 unless supplies sell out sooner, and the deals of the week end at 3am ET 6/16/25 unless supplies sell out sooner.

The brad and finish nailers for $29 and $39 respectively were too hard to pass up. They’ll be backups when needed…

Is there a low level of retail move the merch panic setting in with these near continuous pretty okay if you look hard enough daily deals?
Or, Stuart, is this simply business as usual at the big orange mid level tool shed “down the street”?
Stuart
It’s become a regular strategy for them. I skip reporting on them when the promos don’t change enough or are too close together.
These sales typically feature Milwaukee bundles where you get a little extra savings compared to the regular promos that are “hackable” or only in stores in limited supplies.
Sometimes it seems like a way to move inventory a little quicker, but with pinpoint strategy rather than broad policy.

HD rotates these things in and out, and you pretty soon get used to what is “normal” – but real deals and discounts do appear.
I suspect that deals can appear via multiple paths – such as from manufacturer rebates or discounts (HD will often have the same deal as a sale that other places have as a rebate), stock clearances/overstock reduction, competitive pressure (matching Amazon, Lowes, etc), and more I’ve not thought of.

I’m about to ask a dumb question, but I really don’t understand something.
I would like to buy the M12 4 in 1 installation tool.
HD has it in a package deal for $199 with one of 5 free tools and into the package.
None of the 5tools really interests me, I’d rather have just the 4 in 1 at a lower price
How do people return the unused (and unwanted) “free” tool to HD?
Is there some way the receipt is written out that allows or disallows this?
Also Stuart, in your opinion, which of the five free tools in the HD offer would be the easiest to sell?
“Free” tools offered:
M12 inflator
OMT
3/8 cordless ratchet
Soldering iron
A small blower of some sort
Thank you for this as well as all the work you put in to bring us these sales and info
Stuart
Here’s the kit.
When you add everything to your cart, you should see prorated return values. I also have a calculator here – https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/free-cordless-power-tool-deals-value-calculator/%3C/a%3E .
Returning part of a “free gift with purchase” bundle is generally allowed, but some stores don’t allow it due to abuse. Typically, the worst that can happen is you get a manager that requires you to return everything together. Online returns might be easier.
This is a deal “hack” that’s been around and widely exploited for a few years. There’s some risk and potential headaches involved.
One would typically choose the highest value free gift item, which would result in a higher partial return value.
Here’s a longer explanation: https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/home-depot-cordless-power-tool-deal-hack-explained/%3C/a%3E .
Returning part of a free gift bundle is sometimes a moral grey area, but I think it’s fine if one buys for personal use as opposed to resale. If Home Depot wanted to, they could close the loophole, and we see this sometimes with select deal bundles.

If you don’t have an inflator, that M12 thing is surprisingly nice to have.
The blower is silly, the soldering iron is specialized, the ratchet is OK, and the multitool is nice if you need one.

Thank you Stuart!
Stuart
You’re welcome! =)
