There are new Home Depot tools deals of the day for today, 11/19/24, and yes, some are better than the ongoing Black Friday deals right now.
For example, you can get a Milwaukee M18 Fuel cordless hammer drill and impact driver combo kit with a free bonus item for $399, or as part of today’s deal of the day you can choose between a couple of options and save an extra $50.
Similarly, there are some bundles featuring Milwaukee’s $299 buy one, get one deal, and with an extra $40 discount.

Of course there are some appealing Dewalt deals in the mix as well.
Following are some of the deals that stood out to me. As usual, I think it’s worth running through the list to see if something catches your attention.
Milwaukee M18 Fuel Hammer Drill and Impact Driver Combo Kit with M18 Fuel Angle Grinder – $349

Dewalt 20V Max 6pc Cordless Power Tool Combo Kit with ToughSystem Tool Box and Reciprocating Saw – $599
A reader asked for more combo kit deals – here you go! This bundle was already a decent value, but with this deal of the day you get the same “special buy” price on the 6pc tool kit and an additional XR brushless reciprocating saw thrown in.
Don’t want the recip saw? Consider the same bundle with an XR brushless jig saw, or maybe the one with a brushless 1/2″ impact wrench.
Milwaukee 43pc Impact Socket Set – $84.97
If you missed the savings on this Milwaukee impact socket set last time, here it is again.

Wiha is an unusual site at Home Depot – weren’t they partnered up with Lowe’s? – but it’s good to see. I can’t tell you whether these are good screwdrivers or not, but the price at Amazon and elsewhere is at least $12 higher, suggesting this is a good deal.
Milwaukee Shockwave 31pc Impact Socket Set with Packout Case 49-66-6806 – $169
Milwaukee 21pc Hole Saw Set – $94.97
This set ranges from 3/4″ up to 5″.
If you can skip the largest size, Milwaukee’s 28pc set – a special buy for $134 right now – has 22 hole saws compared to 13.
Dewalt DCF850 Brushless Impact Driver with PowerStack Starter Kit – $149
This is a fantastic pairing – a great impact with the most compact 20V Max (and 18V-class) battery on the market.
Dewalt DWS779 Sliding Miter Saw with DWX724 Folding Stand – $459
Don’t buy into the “$800+ value” claim. This is a $399 special buy miter saw with a miter saw stand that retails for as low as $179 right now. Acme Tools has the same deal for $499 right now, which means – as per my math – you’re saving an extra $40 off the special buy holiday price.
So while it’s not really over $800 in value, it’s still a good deal if this is the saw you want, and you also need a portable stand.
Milwaukee M18 Fuel Mid-Torque Impact Wrench with Oil Resistant Battery – $209
If you need an impact with more power, there’s another bundle with the M18 Fuel high torque impact wrench with a regular XC 5Ah battery.
These deals end at 3am ET 11/20/24, unless supplies sell out sooner.

It’s seems like a decent deal if you’re in the market.
The 18 GA, normally $300, which is on sale for $250 (~15% off), so that effectively gets you the pin nailer for $180. That’s a decent (~21%) discount on the pin nailer,. From my occasional checks, it hasn’t been marked down much, if at all, in the last several months.

I’ve lost track of part #s with Milwaukee, but the rear handle 7 1/4″ I use is a power house. The only issue is the exhaust deflector has to be in place or your throwing chips everywhere.

That DeWalt kit deal is smokin. Would I were starting out/over, that would be hard to pass up.
To an earlier point, I would imagine Bosch, Metabo HPT, etc., are missing out not offering kits like this. Chasing down model numbers and comparison shopping between ever changing deals among competing retailers is confusing enough. Especially if you’re not familiar with the model numbers that usually tell very little about a product’s tier/positioning, or are a total novice and know next to nothing about specs/features in general.
If this kit is all brushless and XR, that quickly communicates that this is a great way to get going, and there’s little limit to what you could build… all for $600.

I’ve been looking for this deal for 6 days now and was kicking myself in the foot for not getting it last week! I would highly recommend adding to the article that the Surge Impact Driver is also one of the free items. I know that it is not one of the most popular option and gets a lot of push back due to the lower torque, but it’s the right one for some non-contractor people like me! Surprisingly for some reason, it does not show up on the ‘Special deal of the day’ page and people may miss it.

So the other day I was reading descriptions in Home Depot listings for “Resistant” Batteries and I couldn’t figure out what they meant. Apparently they dropped the word OIL in their descriptions. I thought maybe they meant drop or shock resistant but electrically it could mean anything. So when did they start advertising oil resistance??

For which batteries? There’s a special version of some batteries that are more impervious to oils and such, making them more durable in automotive maintenance environments.
The FORGE batteries are all designed with greater resistance to oils, making it unnecessary to seek out a separate SKU.
Home Depot’s bundle product pages can sometimes be a mess.
