Stuart,
The “Buy it at Acme Tools” link shoots us over to the Bosch router deal from a day or two ago.
Stuart
Thanks, *fixed! Sorry, I was a bit excited to get the post up. I checked all of the individual links but forgot the general Last Standing link.
Petsker
The link to the bit set says 7 bits not 70
Stuart
Thanks, *fixed.* Sorry, I should have caught that one too.
Rick
No surprise that the M18 battery deal is out of stock. If these deals are sold out and can’t be added to a cart Acme needs to pull the deal.
Luke
I’m guessing they want you to see what you missed, so that you sign up for their emails and watch their brand more closely.

They also seem to assume I have unlimited time, energy, and money to chase this stuff down.
Spoiler alert, I have minimal amounts of all of those things. So a more consistent source like home depot’s deal of the day is far more preferable.
Stuart
No, I think it’s a matter of these being limited quantity deals, and the store back-end not being able to handle that in an elegant way.
Rob
Is anyone else able to get the prices this article is showing? Every link I clink shows a price that’s significantly higher.
Stuart
All of these deals expired yesterday.

Anyone has experience with the Rikon sander? And what Rikon batteries may compatible with? The sander head looks smaller than competitors. I am heavily into M12 line, but always looking out for things that not available in M12 yet. I have made myself a “M12” hot glue gun.

So far I am 6/8 for round 1 and got both the first 2 correct on round 2.
Al
5/8. My losers were DeWalt, Metabo, Fein.
Stuart
Round 1: 5 out of 8
Round 2: 0 out of 2

Those battery backup light bulbs – are they just on all the time, either with power or on battery (until it’s drained)? Can they be turned off with a wall switch? I don’t get it.
Oh, YT shows that something else has to be on the AC circuit. If these bulbs sense a plain old open circuit with nothing else on it, they don’t work in backup mode. But if it’s sharing a circuit with something AND there’s no juice, it turns on.

HD is carrying a lot of Milwaukee stuff. At least the one in my area.
Everything on the shelves is Milwaukee from hand tools, blades power tools, hats, gloves, measurement tape, bits and so on. Klein, Husky, Dewalt and other brands are squeezed in a small space.
In a specific compartment, the red brand occupy 50-60 % of the shelves, the other space is divided among the remaining 4-5 brands.
Too much “one brand” in my opinion, with small alternative options, This leave no choice for customer, or, at least, a very little one. Ridgid have some space in power tools and plumbing, thats it. Same for Dewalt. Some power tools and hand tools. For people who doesn’t like Milwaukee, or cannot afford it, there is no choice and go to the blue box, to other stores or online. Not sure what this have to do with the discount, but limiting the customer choice by almost monopolizing all the sale with one brand, doesn’t help for sure.
