Dewalt Tstak Music Player & Charger

Last week we posted about Tool Nut’s deal on the Dewalt Tstak cordless music player and charger system.
I teased them a little bit, about how the “lowest price guaranteed” claim only beat the nearest competing price by $1. So, Tool Nut increased the discount, lowering the price down to $194. That’s the lowest price out there on this at the moment. *Thumbs up.*

Over at Tool Nut, all Skil and Skilsaw products are currently 20% off, with the discount appearing in the cart at checkout.
That includes the STP99 worm drive table saw with roller stand, and also the SPT70WT-22 – that’s the smaller, and this is the version that comes bundled with a Diablo blade.

re: table saws:
The 20% discount barely covers the $100 shipping charge. I know that these large & heavy items must cost serious cash to ship – but, if you get it from Home Depot / Amazon – they’ll ship it for free, and Amazon will let you add a Square Trade insurance policy for less than $20 that covers it for 3 years. Now, this particular saw, I can’t find on Amazon – but it has the Dewalt’s and Hitachi’s and some of the other brands.
re: Home Depot Milwaukee deals
The $20 10 pc set is no deal at all; the 23 pc set that’s normally $35 is only $20 right now – and that’s not a daily deal; its just an on-going “special buy”. From what I’ve seen, most of these units in-store don’t reflect the lower pricing, they’re just labeled the regular/old $35 price – but they ring up for $20 at checkout.

Ouch, I missed the part about the shipping surcharge. You’re always paying for shipping, but with other vendors, it’s invisibly baked into the price.
Thanks – I also added the 23pc Shockwave drill bit set to the post – it is a much better buy. (That’s the set I stocked up on last holiday season).

I know this isn’t the right place but I saw that Sears filed for bankruptcy protection.
satch
The sale on the 13 amp Skil Buzzkill is pretty good. Most places are 99 dollars and change. For a while Lowes had these priced everyday in store for $69. And I passed it up because I just din’t need it. Well common sense got the better of me and I went back later to grab one. All gone and unmarked on the shelf anywhere. Foolish. At that price it was one of those deals you take…because.
Even for just cutting out volunteer trees and old vines and other nuiscane vegetation on the fenceline it would have been great. Once done you have a nice tool that served the purpose just waiting for the next task. Find some reviews. Skil got this one dead on it would seem.

The Wera Aston Martin Red Bull screwdriver set is listed on Amazon UK at the equivalent of USD 52 and nowhere else seems to stock it. Aston Martin currently trying to provide an exit for its PE owners via an IPO and the accounting would make the Sears “management” blush.
