The discount doesn’t stack on top of the following special buys, which feature greater discounts.

KC Tool Black Friday 2018 NWS Combination Pliers

Have you been meaning to try NWS pliers? While perhaps not the most exciting pliers style they make, these combination pliers are on sale for just $17, and could be your first foray into the brand, or a general purpose go-to.

KC Tool Black Friday 2018 Wera Tool-Check Plus

Wera’s Tool-Check Plus is a mini tool kit with sockets, screwdriver bits, a bit ratchet, locking bit holder, and mini screwdriver handle $56 is a FANTASTIC price on these. You get that price on inch or metric sets.

KC Tool Black Friday 2018 Felo Screwdrivers

This Felo wood-handled screwdriver set is $18. I bought a set of these a few years ago, and should use them more. They’re comfortable, and something about the wood handles makes them a little warmer (figuratively) to use than plastic and rubbery-handled styles.

KC Tool Black Friday 2018 Wiha Screwdriver Set

With this Wiha screwdriver set, you get a mix of precision and full-size screwdrivers, and the size assortment looks well thought out. The mini screwdriver style is new to me, but I’ve got things to say about the larger “SoftFinish” handle style.

KC Tool Black Friday 2018 Knipex Cobra Pliers

The Knipex Cobra is one of the best adjustable pliers on the market. If you’ve been meaning to try it out, the 10″ Cobra is on sale for $23.

KC Tool Black Friday 2018 Gedore Pliers Wrench

A Gedore Pliers Wrench? At $32, it’s less expensive than the Knipex, and while supplies last you get a free bottle opener. Or, how I know some of you will look at it, $32 for a cool bottle opener that comes bundled with a free Pliers Wrench.

KC Tool Black Friday 2018 Stahlwille Wrench Set

I took advantage of last year’s promo to buy my first Stahlwille tool, a 1/2″ combination wrench. I can’t really use double-ended open end wrenches, but if I did, this looks like a good deal on super-quality tools.

My first Gedore/pliers wrench & NWS pliers just got ordered, and a Knipex replacement for the Irwin pliers I’ve never really learned to like…Thanks!

Anything wrong with getting the gedore pliers wrench vs the knipex pliers wrench?

I ordered a pair to answer that question myself, but the deal will be long over by the time I fins out.

It’s possible that it’s made hy Knipex (I can’t tell); European brands sometimes work with each other to offer cross-branded tools.

I’m gonna snag 2 pair to get free shipping. From everything I can tell they should have very similar performance, just with a different adjustment button. Kind of a hard deal to pass up!

They look very similar, but I don’t think they’re made by Knipex. The listing says made in Austria.

They look different enough that I think you’re right. Maybe the design is licensed? It looks similar, but definitely different.

            I have both

Really really like the gedore. Handles flex if you get on it but the head is so slim

I wish KC Tools didn’t inflate the amount you save during their sales. For example, the featured Cobra pliers are 55% off the “list price”, which is far higher than the regular price at other online vendors.

I took the time today to find out what the asterisk in “Free shipping over $50*” refers to. Found it in the middle of their return policy. “*If the original sale qualified for free shipping, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.”

I never pay attention to that – just look at the final price.

If a power tool kit launches at $200, ends up regularly priced at $150, and then goes on sale for $100, most retailers will say it’s $100 or 50% off.

For multiple reasons, I am finding Wera speaking to me lately. I ordered both toolchecks, added a cheap pair of cobras, and tacked on the NWS pliers.

Thanks for posting all of these, happy Thanksgiving!

Those Felo wood handled drivers are my absolute go to drivers. I sanded the epoxy off the wood and treated them with linseed oil. No matter what junk I get on them they still grip. I’m definitely picking up more for the auxiliary and on the go tool kits. AvE was right about them.

I own the 7″ pliers wrench and the 7″ cobras. Looks like I can grab me some 10 inchers and together they get up enough for the free shipping.

Just ordered my first pair too, plus 10″ Cobras. Sweet deal for the pair at $55 all up. Thanks for posting the deal Stuart!
