The Scallion is a decent compact knife, a slightly smaller version of the Kershaw Leek knife I previously reviewed.
It’s on sale, today only, starting at $24. To put things into context, I bought the blue-handled Scallion for $36 back in 2015, and it’s currently on sale for $27.
The Kershaw Scallion gives you a good value in a compact package, and it’s made in the USA. Just be aware that it is a small knife.

Over at Home Depot, they have a couple of select Dewalt drill and driver bundles.

First, there’s a bundle featuring the Dewalt DCD785C2 20V Max cordless hammer drill kit. This includes their “standard” (my words, not theirs) brushed motor hammer drill/driver. Plis, there’s a bonus drill and screwdriver bit set. The bundle is on sale for $129.
The second Dewalt 20V Max bundle features the DCK377C2 brushless drill and driver kit, and the same drill and screwdriver bit set. The combo kit features the DCD777 drill/driver, and DCD787 single-speed impact driver. Both are what I would consider “mass market special buys” – they’re good tools (at least in my opinion), but they’re positioned well below Dewalt’s “flagship” compact brushless drill (DCD791) and impact driver (DCF887). This bundle is on sale for $199.

Stuart, I am unsure if I should add this to the thread or not but I was at Home Depot yesterday and they had ehat I considered to be a pretty good deal on a Makita sub-compact cordless set. It contained the drill, impact, sds rotary hammer, 2 – 2.0Ah batteries, charger, and a soft case. $299.99. But right next to it was a placard declaring if you bought the combo they would add an extra 2.0 Ah battery in the deal. I am not sure how that all adds up but it sounded pretty good to me. Sorry if this is already known or should not be added to the thread.

Knives at this price point often have a rough-looking but usable edge grind. You can use it as-is, or hone it.
You can get a better edge finish at this price point, but typically only on imported knives.

I have one and it does have a pretty rough edge on it. It works fine but does need some attention. It stays on my dresser and only moves to EDC when my Delica is sent out for sharpening. I find the curved blade to be a pain and don’t like it much. I am used to the Delica though which is higher quality knife.
