Amazon has Leatherman FREE multi-tools on sale for Prime Day 2025, where they’ve slashed the price by 25% for each.
Leatherman FREE P4 Multi-Tool – Save 25%
Leatherman FREE P2 Multi-Tool – Save 25%
Leatherman FREE K2 Multi-Tool Knife – Save 25%
Free P4 – one of Leatherman’s best multi-tools with one-hand access to the main tools and easy-access “magnetic architecture” for the inner tools.

Free P2 – a slightly less featured and slimmer model with most of the same tools and features as the P4.
Free K2 – essentially a folding knife with a couple of added tools, with Leatherman calling it an “8 in 1” multi-tool.
I bought a FREE P4 a few years ago and have had zero regrets – it’s one of the best multi-tools I have ever used, only to be outdone by the Leatherman Arc. I also reviewed the P2 multi-tool earlier.
Here’s a list of all of the Leatherman Free P4’s tools and features:

- Needlenose Pliers
- Regular Pliers
- Premium Replaceable Wire Cutters
- Premium Replaceable Hard-wire Cutters
- 420HC Knife
- 420HC Serrated Knife
- Spring-action Scissors
- Saw
- Pry Tool
- Package Opener
- Awl
- Can Opener
- Wire Stripper
- Ruler (1.41 in | 25 mm)
- Wood/Metal File
- Bottle Opener
- Electrical Crimper
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Medium Screwdriver
- Small Screwdriver
- Extra-small Screwdriver
In my opinion, the Leatherman P4 is one of the best multi-tools on the market today. Yes, it’s pricey, even on sale, but the premium price buys you a premium-featured USA-made tool.
This wouldn’t be a great choice as your first EDC (everyday carry) multi-tool; I think beginners should start with something simpler and less expensive until they learn their preferences.

If you’re not in the market for a $112 multi-tool, the Gerber NXT multi-tool is a lesser tool but a good value at under $38. Amazon also has the SOG PowerPint on sale for under $34.
According to Leatherman the Free-series tools are exclusively available via their Amazon store. Discounts on the Free series tools are incredibly rare, making this a “don’t dawdle, get your order in now” type of deal.

I am very picky when it comes to EDC, and rarely ever leave comments, but I have carried and used the p2 daily since it came out. The one handed operation and the ability to get to all of the tools without opening it it up puts it light years ahead of anything I have used or come across. I prefer the slimmer lighter design of the p2 over the p4, but admittedly, never carried the p4. I have tried other models from Leatherman but none have warranted the bulk of daily carry like the p2.

Hi Stuart. Thanks for sorting through the Prime Day marketing torrent to find actual deals.
FYI – the link you posted for the SOG PowerPint multitool points to a different SOG model (the “PowerAccess” which is $48.34 for stonewash color).
I believe the correct link for the SOG PowerPint for $33.87 is: https://www.amazon.com/SOG-PowerPint-Stainless-Multi-Tool-Lightweight/dp/B077LYXB6B/?tag=toolguyd-20
