Over at our nearest Lowe’s store, there’s a new Holiday 2019 display filled with Lenox reciprocating saw blade and hole saw promo sets.
Lowe’s has the 12pc reciprocating saw blade set for $25, and the 13pc (9 size) hole saw set for $90. The online price on the hole saw set has been reduced to $70.

Last year, Lowe’s had a similar (if not identical) 12pc blade set for $20, and a similar (if not identical) 13pc hole saw set for $40 for Black Friday.
In other words, for those of you that prefer Lenox, you might want to hold off on buying these sets until after Thanksgiving.
I’ve purchased similar Lenox holiday season promo sets in past years, and they’re okay, although I personally prefer Diablo, Milwaukee, and Bosch for reciprocating saw blades, Bosch for jigsaw blades, and Milwaukee for hole saws.
Lenox accessories never really impressed me, but they’re not bad in a pinch – I still have the sets I bought. Still, I’m more looking forward to Bosch saw blade promos at Lowe’s, or Diablo and Milwaukee promos at Home Depot.
If you’re shopping on price, these might not be the best buys, even at eventual Black Friday pricing. Last year’s Milwaukee hole saw deal at Home Depot was a 17pc set for $40, also with 9 hole saw sizes but more pilot drill bits.

I know tons of people that swear by Lenox,
I personally like diablo than lenox.

Just bought my first Diablo recip blade for a demo project. After years of just buying cheap blades during specials, Diablo blew them away. thicker metal and stayed sharper longer.

The whole saw kit looks exactly like the Craftsman. I would bet the Craftsman gets the steep holiday discount while the Lenox stays pretty high in price. I may be wrong, maybe some part of the metal formula is different but used both, own the Craftsman, they are the same.

I believe, like a great deal of Bosch made in Switzerland and Milwaukee made in America, blades/saws these present day Lenox products are still too made America as well as China? Am I correct?
