We scouted out all of the power tool accessory deals at Lowes for the 2015 Black Friday and Holiday shopping season.
As with the Home Depot’s power tool accessory deals we previously discussed and shared with you, some of these Lowes accessory deals are worth a closer look.
Personally, I think that the Dewalt 100pc drilling and driving set, and the Bosch reciprocating blade set, might be headed to my shopping list.

Dewalt Drilling and Driving Bit Sets
For $25, this 100pc Dewalt drill bit and screwdriver bit set comes with 4 separate assortments: an impact driver bit assortment (you can tell by the black color of the tool case), a long and short Phillips bit assortment, a general screwdriver bit assortment, and a PilotPoint drill bit set.
You get a little of everything, although I wish it came with more nutdriver bits.
At a slightly lower price, $23, this 80pc set comes with a a general purpose drill bit set and a screwdriver bit assortment. It also comes with 30 1″ Phillips #2 screwdriver bits. There’s not a lot of variety here, but maybe that’s what you want.
This set will be on sale ahead of Black Friday – check out our Lowes Black Friday 2015 and Holiday coverage here – for $20.

There’s a 65pc set, also with a lot of Phillips #2 bits (18 of them).
This set is $13.
And a very similar 62pc bit set with 15 Phillips #2 bits. It looks to be exactly the same as the 65pc set, but with 3 extra Phillips bits. Weird. This set is also $13.
There was a display with smaller bit sets and assortments as well.
This 37pc Dewalt screwdriver bit assortment was initially listed at $16, but the web price reflects that it has dropped down to $10.
This 27pc Dewalt drilling and driving bit set comes with a quick change bit holder, a standard bit holder, a small assortment of screwdriver bits, and just 4 drill bits.
It’s priced at $10.
There was a 14pc Dewalt Pilot Point screwdriver bit set with an initial $16 sticker price, and it has since been discounted to $10.
This “Tic-Tac-style” box of bits, plus a bit holder, was $9, and is probably cheaper now.
Bosch Saw Blades
This 18pc set of Bosch jig saw blades has a little of everything, and comes with a handy hard shell storage box. They fit jig saws that have a standard t-shank blade interface.
Price: $18.
If you want a different assortment, there are a couple of other mixed purpose and woodworking-focused assortment options over at Amazon.
There’s also this 7pc reciprocating saw blade set, for $10.
You can find the same set on Amazon for $23, but it looks like resellers snatched up this same deal from Home Depot or Lowes last year and jacked up the price. This is still a great deal, but don’t use Amazon’s price for comparison.
Bosch Drill and Driving Bit Sets
I’ve only used some Bosch drill bits, but they seem to be holding up.
If I didn’t already have way more drill bits than I need, I would pick up this Bosch 21pc black oxide drill bit set at its $18 price.
Hmm, I do like how compact this case is – maybe I’ll buy this set for portable drilling needs. My current drill indexes aren’t exactly small and portable.
This 47pc Bosch screwdriver bit set comes with a Phillips, slotted, Robertson (square), and Torx (star) bits, as well as 2 nutdrivers and a bit holder.
I like that they show you exactly what you get at the top of the packaging.
Price: $10.
Kobalt Bit Sets
This Kobalt 40pc drill and drive set comes with hex-shanked drill bits, and an assortment of screwdriver bits. They’re black, but there’s no indication that they’re impact-rated so assume that they’re not.
The set is $10 with an advertised “value” of $50.
Nearby there’s a 106pc drilling and driving set with a little bit of everything too – short screwdriver bits, long bits, very long bits, nut drivers, general purpose hex-shank drill bits, what looks to be a couple of brad point drill bits, and spade bits.
The price is $20, but there could be a “new lower price” by now.
Skil Drill Bit Set
I also saw a Skil 29pc drill bit set, for $35 $20. The “new lower price” of $20 has since went into effect.
Josh
That Skil bit set spent most of 2014 at $20. The bits in it are halfway decent.
Stuart
Thanks!
I guess that means it’s at $35 temporarily so that maybe a soon $20 price tag can say “new lower price.”
Update: Yup, the price is now at a “new lower price” of $20.
Chris
There is a 21 piece Skil Gold Oxide bit set thats only $9.98 right now (at least at my local stores)! Lowes item # 629899
Stuart
Thanks! I didn’t see these at my local Lowes. Looking online, it says they have some in stock, but not nearly as many as 29pc sets.
Chris
No problem. Im actually pretty impressed with the set, although Ive only used it with my M12 drills. For 10 bux you cant really go wrong, even if it is “only” 21 bits.

I picked up one of those 100-piece DeWalt sets earlier this year. A lot of stores around here had it for $12.50 on clearance after one of the holidays (Memorial Day, I believe). It’s pretty decent, but I took the contents and consolidated them with other ToughCase sets. Now I have a yellow box with drill bits and a black box with impact and drive bits with each drill/impact. The set that comes with the bag looks like one I picked up last year. For the price the bits can’t be beat, and the ToughCases are decent storage solutions for various items.

fm2176: I believe you’re referring to the 80 piece Dewalt bit set and not the 100 piece one because I was just going to comment that I bought it for like $10-12 early this year or really late last year. If it was marked down to $12.50, I want to say I talked them down even more because it was the last one hanging out on the clearance shelf.
It also came with a fairly large (and decent) bag as you describe. You can actually see the bag behind the bits in the pictures above. I do not see a bag in the 100 piece set. Also, I remember a friend buying that set (I’m pretty sure it was that one b/c it had 4 cases of stuff) and there wasn’t a bag in it.
logan
that’s really cheap for drill bits, especially a 29pc set.
wonder how they’d do on stainless, or thicker steel, compared to, say, Viking or Norseman

There’s also a Bosch impact driver bit set for ~$13.
Besides all the accessories, the Lowe’s displays at my local store now have tools in the displays with the accessories, including the $99 Bosch 18V and 12V Max cordless drill sets, corded circular saw, corded paddle switch angle grinder, and a few tools from Porter/Cable and DeWalt.
I’m REALLY wondering if these tools and the accessories will be in the Black Friday ad at an even lower price than they are right now. It’d be a pretty lousy Black Friday “sale” if the prices are just the same as what you can buy stuff for right now and for weeks afterwards. Not that the prices are BAD, they are actually pretty good for a retail sale, just – they really need to have some insanely low prices for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and hopefully the weekend into Cyber Monday as well.

Ok, well, the Lowe’s Black Friday ad was leaked and the Thanksgiving and Black Friday prices in the ad are the same “new lower price” they are right now. This goes for most of the tools, accessories, etc. Pretty dumb, but I guess people will go shop and buy on BF thinking they are getting a better deal.
