Matco-2-bay-Camo-Toolbox

Matco has come out with new limited edition camouflage-themed mobile tool cabinets for the Fall (2013). The new styling will be available on double and triple-bay 4S-series tool cabinets. Pricing will be from $5495 to $6995, depending on size and features.

Features include a welded-on-all-sides T-shaped center shelf, heavy duty 6″ casters with 600 lb load ratings (each), heavy duty ball bearing slides rated at 140 lbs per drawer, tubular locks, and a pull handle.

More specifically, the styling includes Camo Green gloss paint and a digital camo graphic (wrap).

If you’re into this look and are in the market for a new toolbox, contact your local Matco Tools dealer for additional details about customization options and exact pricing.

These toolboxes will be handcrafted in the U.S.

First Impression

I don’t have firsthand experience with Matco tool storage products, but I don’t recall ever hearing any major complaints about them.

Personally, I’m not into the dark green jungle camo styling, but that’s just me; I’m more of a yellow, orange, or electric blue toolbox kind of guy. But as far as special edition colors go, I think this color scheme looks distinct but not too flashy.

Well there is no way I would be able to afford this at this point, but I didn’t even know that Matco still made their tool boxes in America though. Heard somewhere that they were imported now.

Cool toolbox Stuart and thanks again for including the coo.

Matco says these boxes are handcrafted in the USA, which could mean “built in the USA,” “assembled in the USA,” or most optimistically, “made in the USA.”

At this price point, I would assume that most if not all of the components are USA-sourced.
