The other day, after we posted about a good deal on a small Milwaukee Hole Dozer hole saw set at Home Depot, Fred mentioned a good deal at ToolUp.

At ToolUp, there’s a Milwaukee 28pc hole saw set on sale for $129. That’s a great price. Acme Tools has it for $119, after $20 off $100 coupon code MILW2016 (good thru 12/22/16).

To make the deal even sweeter, there’s a free bonus tool offer.

Buy $100+ in Milwaukee Hole Dozer bi-metal hole saws or Sawzall reciprocating saw blades, get a free Milwaukee Sawzall (6509-31) by mail!

Or, spend $200+, and get a free Milwaukee M12 FUEL Hackzall reciprocating saw kit (2520-21XC)!

$100+ Redemption Form
$200+ Redemption Form

I reached out to the folks at Milwaukee Tool, asking if this promo is limited to orders at ToolUp, and this is what they said:

Those two are National promotions that will be redeemed if purchased at any authorized Milwaukee Dealer (can be found on our site at “where to buy”).

Oh, yeah!

There’s also a drop-down list on the redemption form, showing which dealers you can order from:

  • Ace Tool
  • Acme Tools
  • Build.com
  • Coastal Tool
  • CPO Outlets
  • GreatLakesPower Tools
  • Home Depot
  • International Tool
  • MaxTool
  • Northern Tool
  • Ohio Power Tool
  • Tool Authority
  • ToolBarn
  • Tools-Plus
  • ToolUp

Too bad this promo doesn’t include Shockwave screwdriver bits.

The Sawzall retails for around $99, and the M12 Hackzall for around $199.

UPDATE: There’s also a “spend $50 on Hole Dozer hole saws or Sawzall reciprocating saw blades, get some hand tools for free!

Here’s a visual list of Milwaukee’s authorized dealers:

Here are links to our favorite dealers:

Home Depot

Acme Tools

There’s a limit of 5 rebates per customer per mailing address. It seems that the $50+, $100+, or $200+ orders must be on their own tickets/separate orders.

Looks like some new hole saws and reciprocating saw blades are in my plans for today!

Would this count with the special hole dozer kit home depot has now?

I certainly hope so, as I bought 2 sets myself.

That is a Hole Dozer bi-metal hole saw set, so it *should* be eligible.

Some of the items I ordered from Home Depot don’t have Hole Dozer or Sawzall in the product titles, but the model numbers should be the determining factor.

I’ll ask just to be safe.

    Stuart,

Looking at the rebate link for other offers, buying Shockwave Impact bits can get you an M12 radio or handtools depending on amount purchased.

I refilled on my sawzall blades and got a hole saw kit. Acme also has free promotional items that come with various levels of sawzall/hole dozer kits, such as a free tailgating chair with orders over $149. These are immediate at checkout so they will be in addition to the rebate.

Coupled with free shipping and no immediate tax, I’ll finally get the m12 hackzall I’ve been wanting!

    Great deal!

You have a choice between $20 off $100+, or a free tailgate chair with $150+ order.

With the $20 coupon applied to my cart the chair wasn’t coming up free. So I kept the coupon.

They do say that the chair and other instant freebies cannot be used with other promos.

I’m in for all 3 offers. 1 28pc set and Sawzall blades from Acme, a $40 15pc hole saw set from HD plus a Carbide tooth blade, and another order with a 2nd $40 hole saw set and a bunch of blade packs.

I don’t own a corded recip saw, and theven M12 Hackzall will be great for misc use. I could use more Milwaukee tapes (I love ’em!), but the pliers and bag convinced me that I could use some extra hole saws.

Stuart, any reason for picking up both the 15 pc and 28 pc set? Also, I would have much more use for sawzall blades but I’m not sure I need $200 worth! Maybe I could just sell the hole saw sets on EBay.

Oops, I didn’t see that! LOL. Sorry about that, sir. I’m thinking about getting the Deep Well Impact Socket set, but then there’s the more complete Tekton set… decisions, decisions…

I’ll make it stand out in a few minutes when I have a chance, or spin it is to its own post for tomorrow.

Which deep socket set? Tekton has come a long way.

These days, with Craftsman sockets being imported – assuming impact sockets followed the hand tool trend – maybe Tekton is the next best choice.

I have the tekton 1/2″ deep impact set. I’ve only used it for lug nut on my F150 but so far so good! I love that it’s a complete set. Tekton really sold me with that feature.

I almost bought the Tekton 3/8 & 1/2 deep & standard impact set. Some of the sizes were SAE/Metric combo, but seemed like a good buy for an all-in-one kit (especailly with the Buy 1 Get 1 free my grocery store had going on), but put my money elsewhere…

I ended up putting my store credit towards a Coast rechargeable flashlight, HP8R, that was on sale and I LOVE it. Hands down, my favorite new light, and I own a lot of Milwaukee lights. This comes with a battery holster that holds 4x AAA’s, or their is a Lithium-ion pack that has a built in micro-USB charging port. The brightness is incredible, and has good zoom. Perfect hand size (for me). The L-ion pack bumps up the throw & lumens over the AAA pack, but is a nice back up option.

I went back and bought a 2nd one, immediately after I regained my eyesight from the bright light. I would recommend this for a review or at least to try it out Stuart.

I needed a set of hole saws anyway, and this promo got me to go with a Milwaukee set. I went online to look up set numbers, to be sure to order a Hole Dozer set. Now, it is just a matter of filling out the forms, and waiting.

    Hey Stuart,

Do you see anything that prohibits getting 2 of the same rebate (still keeping under the 5 limit)? I would like to get a fuel hackzall for myself and one for a gift. Thanks!

No? On each individual rebate form it gives the option to add additional redemptions. That suggests it’s 5 per each individual offer.

The fine print was outdated, and mentioned a June end date, and so there might be other limits that we just don’t know about.

I’m a little hesitant about the 3 offers I got in on, but I have faith that Milwaukee will come through without the funny business usually associated with mail-in rebates.

I got a big hole saw kit on sale and added two other sizes I don’t have to get over $200. I filled out the rebate form online for all three promos. Yesterday I received the 12v sawzall and the corded one. Packing slip said the accessories were in a separate package coming shortly. Buy $200 worth of blades and get over $250 in free stuff!

Has anyone used the same invoice for all 3 offer?. $200 of qualifying items for the free m12 hacksaw, corded reciprocating saw, and the free tape measure and accessories?

I don’t know. You could try uploading a receipt, but I don’t know if they’ll be able to verify the purchase in the same way as with an online invoice or order number.

I purchased in an HD store. When I used the bottom number by the bar code with middle 05 instead of the top with 0005, the rebate form said the invoice number was invalid. So I corrected my number, added 00, and the rebate form was happy.
I did a different rebate for Hole Dozer and Sawzall blades on an Acme order. Acme has a shorter length for the invoice number – the form accepted this shorter length since I had selected Acme as the dealer.
The rebate form is quite clear – one receipt per rebate request, you can’t stack $25, $50, $75 since that would be 3 rebates using one receipt.
BUT one has the option to stack the same request, up to the limit of 5 – just need a separate receipt for each.
So you need to break your purchases into say five $75+ purchases for the Shockwave bits/drills. So on the $75 rebate request, M12 radio, you add one receipt. Then at the bottom of the form there is the option to add up to 4 more offers – each with their receipt number and attach the receipt option.

Does anyone know if Hackzall blades count as Sawzall blades for the offer? I’ve tried getting in touch with Milwaukee support, but haven’t heard back yet.

I didn’t think so, but I’d be eager to hear what they tell you.

I did order the short Hackzall-style Sawzall blades, but left my Hackzall wood blades for a later order.

After noticing they were labeled as hackzall blades, i left them off my cart. But know thinking about it, it would make sense to include them if one of your rebates is for a… hackzall!

I have to call Milwaukee again this week about something, and will ask if I remember. Or maybe not; if anyone knows the part # for the belt clip that you’re supposed to be able to attach to all their bit cases w/ a 1/4 -20 thread, it would be a HUGE help. Milwaukee says they don’t make one, though the packaging on their millions of cases would make one think otherwise. You can find the magnet advertised (made originally for a light stick), but why even advertise something not obtainable?

Just called. I was told that hackzall blades are a different category & wouldn’t qualify. Still funny, that is what the redemption is for @ $200, but I won’t be the one to chance it.

The redemption deadline for this is this weekend. Has anyone confirmed if you can combine multiple smaller receipts to reach the target amount of 50 or 100 or whatever?

Also what if I made a $260 purchase – can I use that for the $200 rebate AND the $50 rebate?
