You can now equip your Milwaukee Packout low profile organizers with a 4-compartment tray.
The organizer insert, model 48-22-5640, features 4 long compartments. Product images show the tray being used to organize and store power tool accessories, such as reciprocating saw blades, masonry drill bits, and longer screwdriver bits.
It can also fit other longer tools and accessories, such as permanent markers.

From the product page, the tray can fit accessories up to 12″.
It looks like the tray can also fit neatly inside of Milwaukee’s 4-drawer Packout tool box.
The tray is sold by itself for around $15.

Milwaukee…you’re making me really hate being a DeWalt fan…I mean that as the highest compliment.
If I was smart enough to not be bothered your red color…well…I’d be a few thousand poorer…and have much nicer organizers!

The moment Packout sales start to slump, all they have to do is import Blackout from Europe and sell new ones to everyone who bought the red.

Finally a manufacturer option for customization!
I have many of the full width slim versions with 3d customizations from Benjamen or my own mods. This tray holds promise.
I am happy to see it fits in drawers as well, as far as tray size. But … stuff is unlikely to stay contained where you had it, because the drawer looks to be significantly taller than the tray. So that’s a miss
Maybe I will get one or two, to try in the full width organizer. It may inspire a taller model for the drawers.

Not something I need, but glad to see Milwaukee making this. For those that need or wished someone would have made something like this, it will be appreciated.
