Milwaukee is launching new Packout-compatible insulated water bottles in 3 sizes (18oz, 24oz, 36oz) and 2 colors (red and black).
All of the new Milwaukee Packout water bottles feature double-wall vacuum-insulated construction and a leakproof “chug lid” that features a grab handle and raised drinking spout.

Milwaukee says that their new Packout drinkware delivers all-day hot and cold retention and have impact-resistant bodies. They’re also said to be dishwasher safe.

The new raised spout is designed for “smooth drinking.”

Like the Packout tumblers, the new chug lid water bottles can attach to the tops of Packout tool boxes.

Milwaukee is also launching a new Twist-to-Lock mount that can be attached to a variety of surfaces via 3 flat head screws or bolts.
This will allow users to securely attach their Milwaukee Packout water bottles and tumblers to non-Packout surfaces, such as work benches, tool carts, and other such things.

Yes, please!!
I like that the Packout twist-to-lock water bottle and tumbler mount can be installed to various surfaces, but I’d also like to see a mountable version of the standard Packout cleat.
Insulated bottles have been hugely popular from brands like Yeti, Hydroflask, and Stanley, and so it makes a lot of sense for Milwaukee to expand deeper in this space.
Plus, they insulated Packout-compatible tumblers seem to have been selling very well.

That mount is a great idea. I’m not a packout user, but that would actually convince me to buy this drinking product line. I might just mount one of those to my tractor.
Rob H
That’s my plan. I was about to order a stealth mount one from Amazon but I’ll wait for the Milwaukee version.

A little on the high price end for insulated bottles, sort of right in line with Yeti. But I’ve found the ability to lock the coffee mug onto Packouts useful. So I imagine I’ll love this too. If you have Packouts and are shopping for a water bottle might as well get the added value.
What I find more interesting is the twist lock mount. Now I can lock a water bottle, and I presume a their coffee mug to things that weren’t originally Packout.
I shan’t ever knock another coffee mug over by accident again, huzzah!

We got a Yeti bottle as a gift a while back, before the chug-style lids. Never really used it until we added the chug top. Total game changer for that thing. Similarly, the Humangear capCAP was the first (as far I know), and it’s for the large Nalge bottles. They’re excellent too.

I love Jared’s idea about a tractor mount. I may do the same. My only concern is that it seems like a lot of potential leverage on the base if there’s lateral pressure applied to the top of the bottle. But Milwaukee is no slouch on engineering so I’ll assume it’s all good.

These look like yeti bottles. I wonder if the other Yeti caps (the folding straw lid, for example) would fit. With a bit of modification, the base attachment might allow a larger bottle to ‘attach’ to the base that is mounted inside a car’s cup holder.

I know the tumbler lids from yeti and Milwaukee are the same size. I use my yeti lid on my Milwaukee cup all the time. Maybe we’ll luck out and the bottles will be the same.

Could you mount this to the truck floor between the seats?
Farmerguy
The fact they use “chug cap” (I think is a yeti trademark) makes me believe they are yeti produced or affiliated. Hope they interchange as the magdock magnetic water bottle cap is convenient.

I love my YETI chug bottles! I use a large one to keep my tea hot (sorry, I’m not a coffee drinker), and then refill my YETI tumbler throught the day for sipping. I have a few Packout cases, and will now consider getting Milwaukee drinkware for the jobsite because that YETI tumbler has a problem finding a sturdy, level surface! I’ll get a 3-pack of those bases, too. Way to go, Milwaukee!!!

And it doessss’nt? fit into most console cup holders…There needs to be a standard on either the base of tumblers and/or car manufacturers’ cup holder size. Just sayin..

I have the 30oz mug. It fits into Toyota, Ford, Dodge, and Hyundai cupholders just fine. Looks like the smaller 18oz bottle would fit as well, as it’s base is close in size to the mugs.

There are some great adapters out there. I have one that accepts my Yeti bottle and/or Nalgene bottle. It was a little bit pricey but it had great build quality and lots of options (offsets / spacers) for all sizes and configurations of cup holders.
Amazon.ca link but the model name should work.

Many of the trendier brands dent/scratch fairly easily and are not entirely dishwasher-safe. This seems like lots of thought went into it.

Toughbuilt has a similar insulated cup and holder that’s StackTech compatible:

It’s silly but I’m taking inventory and figuring out what boxes I need to sell off my Packout and switch over and this mug is a nice touch
Don Julio
Not at all silly. There’s an EDC aspect to these modular systems, and the more you enjoy something the more you’re going too use it.

I honestly wouldn’t mind on of these to replace the mug version, I spill my coffee all over the place all the time. The lids on the previous version are awful imo I know they aren’t spill proof or anything but atleast resist some spillage!
Jay
I have two of the cups and hook them on to pack out only because I can but I don’t find it very useful tbh. These twist locks though might be a game-changer as I can mount anywhere I truly need it and not a pack out box.
BigTimeTommy
Gonna get a $50 cup with a separate $15 lid because I’m a total rube.
Stuart
Replacement lids are common.
You joke, but I’ve got 3 words for you – Stanley Quencher hype.
MM
I saw an article on the news a few days ago about young women getting in fights over Stanley mugs in Target stores around the country. Apparently they are must-have fashion accessories. I guess that’s the important thing to be seen with in social media pictures these days, sort of like the Voss fruit-infused water thing from a few years ago?
BigTimeTommy
You’re right and I know Milwaukee will make tons of money from these. But what am I supposed to say about Cup Hype aside from “Wow, we’re really a bunch of dumb animals, huh?”
BrianA
But will there be a special edition released every quarter for $100 that people will fight over in Target stores?
Stuart
You’re joking, but people were also flocking to Lowe’s stores for pink Kobalt tool boxes. https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/kobalt-mini-tool-box-pink-white-lowes/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E

The new Stanly cup but for men LOL
I must have one!

I am keen for these to be released in Australia soonish, Ive been a bit rough with my bottles in the past and given the recent news that most of the metal insulated bottles contain lead that can get exposed if damaged I am looking forward to one that is meant to withstand a bit more abuse. Any word on whether they are using lead solder for the seal on this one? Hopefully it wont be 2025 before I can get my hands on one, Im using a Dometic Thrm90 but im having a not entirely great time with the threads on both the bottle and the cap.
