Milwuakee Packout Tool Bag with Zippered Pouches

Home Depot kicked off a new round of PRO tool deals of the week, for the week starting on 5/20/24, featuring a new selection of Milwaukee cordless power tools, accessories, and tool bags, and more.

There are also some Ridgid and Ryobi offerings tossed into the mix.

Some of the M18 Fuel tool combos and kit bundles seem well-priced, and there are also some thoughtful tool and accessory bundles.

The deals are varied, with some looking to be new. For example, there’s a bundle deal with an m18 Fuel 6-gallon shop vacuum, M18 Fuel rear-handle circular saw, and a starter kit with battery and charger.

As shown in the image above, there are also some nice tool storage bundles, plus a lot of tool belt options.

The pictured tool bag deal caught my attention as one of the better values. The bag regularly retails at $60, and the tool pouches $22 and up. With this deal, it’s $60 for the bundle.

Upon checking for current pricing, I also found that the Packout tool bag is on sale individually as well, for $45 with free shipping. If you don’t care for the small zippered tool pouches, $45 seems like a decent price for just the Milwaukee tool bag. Looking around, Ace Hardware has the same bag on sale for $40, but you don’t get free shipping without spending a little more.

The PRO deals of the week is varied, and I see both new and recurring deals. It’s worth a quick look. There’s no need to rush, the deals are valid all week.

Home Depot is also running tool deals of the day for 5/20/24, ending tonight at 3am EST unless supplies sell out sooner.

There are some notable deals here too, such as Dewalt’s better benchtop planer kit at $699 (for those who don’t want to wait for Black Friday pricing), a bundle with Milwaukee’s Packout LED light and charger with a compact battery, a bunch of other vacuum deals, and more.

Yep – working on a story, as there are huge implications.

You or another Jason sent me an email this morning, and I immediately started making phone calls.

Wow this is a huge announcement about JG retiring from TTI, it will be interesting to see how this plays out over 1 year, 3 years, etc.

IMO – JG ran the DW playbook at TTI & it worked extremely well, JG tried to run the DW playbook when he ran Newell Rubbermaid and it did not work.

DeWalt – Joe G was instrumental in the growth of DeWalt from early 90’s > till he was not named CEO. Joe left B & D (I think) went to Amazon (wait out non compete) > Newell/Rubbermaid > TTI.

That’s interesting about JG…and actually that explains a lot. I was right there during the “DeWalt Revoultion” and it was such a different approach that changed a lot of things in the power tool market…for better or worse (32 years later I’m still not sure but I lean toward the latter in some ways). It was obvious that Milwaukee began to emulate the…tactics…and BS…but I had no idea it might be coming from the same person’s vision or direction.

I’m dirt poor and love cheap deals on a quality brand. I can’t take my cars to a dealer or shop. I hve never had any problems with my Milwaukee stuff. I can barely walk the next day because i dont have a lift or a pit. But i get er done.

Random question: I am looking to buy an M12 cable stapler. Anyone know how if these go on sale? I’d appreciate any data on the likelihood that this drops on price in the near to midterm. Thank you.

I believe that was the only time I noticed a promo on the M12 cable stapler.

It does not go on sale. At that time, you saved on not having to pay for bundled accessories.

I don’t recall seeing it discounted or included in promo bundles since then.

That’s the type of tool that is rarely discounted.

          You’re welcome!

I wish I had a better answer. That tool is firmly in the “rare and unpredictable promotions” category.

Any chance a panel saw will be going on sale

I don’t follow panel saws, as they’re mainly aimed at commercial users.

    @ JR Ramos,

JG first job out of college was selling power tools for B & D, I am not sure how many years before the launch of DW in 92, I know B & D Industrial (gray) was not being sold, JG eventual ran power tools.

For anybody who just got their digest email and is looking at this deal…Home Depot’s website says it’s still good for 15 more hours. 🙂
