As is the case every year, there are Black Friday deals on miter saws, with some of them being very exceptionally good values.
The miter saw deals selection is smaller than in previous years, but there are still deals to be had at various price points.
Following are the miter saw deals that are live now, and I’m betting there will be additional flash sales on Black Friday, and maybe coupon offers on Cyber Monday.

Metabo HPT 10″ Miter Saw – $99 with free shipping at Amazon
I wish deals like this were available years ago when I bought my first miter saw. While this Metabo HPT saw is about as no-frills as they come, it’s earned a stellar reputation over the years.
This deal seems like an unbeatable value for anyone who has modest cross-cutting needs. It’s compact, portable, and shockingly inexpensive.

Dewalt 12″ Sliding Miter Saw – $399 at Home Depot
The Dewalt DWS779 is always a popular seller, and can cross-cut up to 2″ x 14″ dimensional lumber boards at 90°.
It’s available for the same price at Amazon.

Dewalt 12″ Miter Saw – $229 at Amazon
The Dewalt DWS715 is a low-frills non-sliding 12″ miter saw that can cut up to 2″ x 8″ dimensional lumber at 90°.

Dewalt 12″ Miter Saw with Folding Stand – $279 at Home Depot
This is the same DWS715 miter saw, but bundled with a Dewalt DWX725B heavy duty work stand for just $50 more than for the saw itself. The stand sells for around $120 separately.

Bosch 10″ Gliding Miter Saw – $479 at Amazon after coupon
Compared to sliding miter saws, Bosch’s gliding saw doesn’t require as much rear clearance, taking up less space on your workbench.
Acme Tools has the same offer right now.

Bosch 12″ Gliding Miter Saw – $547 at Amazon
This is Bosch’s bigger gliding miter saw, with greater cutting capacity than the 10″.
Acme Tools has the 12″ for $549.
There are typically more miter saw deals on Black Friday and even Cyber Monday, usually as part of flash sales or limited time coupon offers. Most of the deals are on AC-powered corded models, but there could be flash sales on cordless miter saws as well.

I don’t think it’s a Black Friday deal but the Milwaukee 10in saw is on sale for $450 at my local store

I bought the Hitachi version of the Metabo about 5 years ago and it’s been great for my needs. The stock blade has held up well and now is a great time to supplement it with a higher tooth option. If you’re looking for your first saw or a simple and reliable 10” this is a nice choice. It’s impressive that the price has remained stable for so long, too.

I have the 18v cordless version of the Metabo HPT single bevel miter saw. I like it. Because it’s not a slider and is single bevel, it’s pretty accurate. It’s also very lightweight.
It cost me about $229 last year, but came with a free 3ah battery. I considered it a pretty good deal at that price.
It’s $199 at Lowe’s and Amazon now.

The $199 is bare tool.
Vards Uzvards
The C1810DFAQ4 (tool-only) saw was $169 during Prime Days, in October. The price may fall close to this level on Friday, or Cyber Monday.

The C1810DFAQ4M saw (bare tool) is $149 today @ lowes.com (Deal Of The Day).

I’ve been needing to upgrade my miter saw in a bad way when it comes to cross cut capacity. I’ve been debating between the Bosch 12″ slider and the Delta Cruzer 12″ slider, and the Bosch at that price just made up my mind I believe.
Of the good tools DeWalt has made, their miter saws aren’t one of them in my opinion.

In your Lowe’s deals post you omitted an awful lot of great bargains. Buy a battery/charger or pair of batteries and there are lots of free tools to choose from…choice depends on the battery combo you pick.
The Bosch 7″ sliding miter is on the list for two or three. I think for $229 or $269 you get the miter saw free, which is better than the $259 bare tool Amazon pricing currently.
In some cases the pricing is actually better than the usual scheme of buy-tool-get-free-battery-kit.
HD has some free battery deals on the Milwaukee saws at the same bare tool prices.
The little 7″ miters aren’t much but they serve many needs very well.

Lowe’s didn’t have any Bosch power tool deals in stores, and they’re buried deeply in their online catalog. I’ll take another look at the freebie promos, thanks!

I wish these articles would at least OCCASIONALLY feature the Dewalt 780. The 779 is the cheaper consumer “trap” of a purchase, and you can read about numerous issues with it. The 780 is what established Dewalt as a maker of quality saws, and you can read on Facebook in many groups that carpenters regardless of all their other tool brands stand by the 780 as the go-to.
Stuart
The DWS779 is nearly identical to the DWS780. The biggest differences are that the DWS779 does not feature crown stops or a built-in XPS LED shadow cutline indicator system.
There are no Black Friday deals – or any discount – on the DWS780 right now, hence why it didn’t warrant a mention here.
MM
The DWS780 is simply a 779 with the blade light and crown molding stops added. The majority of the parts are identical, you can confirm this by looking up and comparing the part numbers on any of the sites that sell repair parts for Dewalt tools. For example, here’s a listing for the base of the saw. Note the same parts fits both models.

If you want to upgrade a 779 to a 780 configuration that is simple, the light kit and crown stops are both sold separately. I quite like that because it means someone can buy the more basic model saw and then upgrade as their budget and needs allow.

Have you noticed that ridgid is not on the band wagon very much about the black Friday gig? I think its because they back their tools with lifetime warranty…I won’t buy any other than Ridgid…they always honor their warranty for me!
Stuart
The lifetime warranty doesn’t apply to certain Ridgid miter saws – https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/ridgid-next-tools-home-depot-lsa/%3C/a%3E .
Ridgid tools at Home Depot are exclusive to Home Depot, and so Home Depot likely makes decisions based on which brands will bring customers and sales to stores. Less interest or sales might mean fewer deals and promo for floor space the following year.
Ridgid has become the brand that bridges the gap between Ryobi and Home Depot’s more pro-leaning offerings from Dewalt, Milwaukee, and Makita.
With Ryobi 18V HP brushless tools delivering very good performance, there’s less room for a brand like Ridgid.
So yes, I noticed there aren’t a lot of Ridgid deals this year, and I think it’s a reflection of Ridgid’s diminishing popularity.

No mention of the (Hercules) miter saws … Seriously take note of the quality and power of the Hercules from Harbor Freight…

My take on miter saws:
For construction: Portable 7″ sliders can’t be beat. Cheap, cheap blades, will do all that you need on a construction site. Kobalt 110V 7″ is a good framing saw for the money (others priced similarly are just fine as well but of the cheaper ones I prefer the Kobalt and I’m not a Kobalt guy), Milwaukee cordless 7″ slider is a much better trim saw but pricy.
For the workshop/woodshop: 12″ NON SLIDING (good brand) miter–much more accurate for a woodworker than even a REALLY GOOD slider–us your sable saw w a crosscut jig to cut anything that the 12″ non slider won’t. Nothing like having a poor joint because of the “play” in a slider–it will sour you fast…
Lots of experience led to these conclusions.

And you cut 45s in 2x12x12s for siding fascia trim with?
