We’re currently reviewing the new Dremel 4000, and are finding it to be an […]
96-inch Level Recommendations?
Reader Don sent us an email asking for help in finding 8-foot level reviews and recommendations. If you have expereince with an 8-foot level, do you prefer to use a box level, or an I-beam level, and why? I would think that an I-beam level may be lighter and easier to use (not to mention cheaper), […]
Woodpeckers Tools – Woodworking Shows Highlight!
As you may recall, I recently took a trip to visit a regional Woodworking Show. Before the actual show, I knew which booths I wanted to visit most, and Woodpeckers was at the very top of that list. If theirs was the only booth I was able to visit at that show, the trip would have still been […]
Cheap Security Bit Sets
Normally I hate, hate, HATE cheap crappy bits, but you never know when one might come in handy. Afterall, a poor quality bit is still better than no bit at all when you really need one. There are a few sets that caught my attention over at amazon:

Porter Cable 18V Cordless Tool Combo Kit Review I
Towards the end of 2008, Porter Cable revamped their 18V cordless tool lineup and came out with all new tools and combo kits. Since then, we’ve been a little hesitant to embrace these new tools for several reasons, but ultimately decided that they’re worth a fair and objective evaluation. We’re going to kick off a series […]

Stanley Black & Decker Merger Complete
The anticipated merger between Stanley and Black & Decker was finalized about two weeks on 3/12. I don’t think that the new company will start joint branding their existing product lineup, at least not anytime soon, but one thing is certain – they definitely need a new logo. The PS41 is an update to the venerable but dated PS40, and like Bosch’s new PS21 pocket driver and PS31 drill/driver, the new impact driver appears to have been significantly […]
More About Bosch’s New PS21 and PS31 Drill/Drivers
After our post about the new Bosch PS31 3/8″ drill/driver went live earlier today, I realized that the PS21 Pocket Driver is essentially identical to the newly redesigned PS31 drill, except for their different chucks (1/4″ hex vs. 3/8″).

Even stranger in appearance than Wera’s swivel-head Zyklop ratchet, the Koloss features a ratchet built into a hammer head. Yes, that’s right, the Koloss is a real ratchet-hammer combo tool that is said to be unbreakable.
Pliers in the Sky in England
I thought you might enjoy this image of pliers floating in the sky in England. It looks like a Google streetview driver briefly left pliers on top of his camera while mapping a neighborhood. Check out the blunder here, or via the story on Geekologie. Oh, and please feel free to share any clever captions you come […]
