Amazon’s Prime Day sales event continues with loads of tool deals.
I took a fresh look at everything – here’s a new batch of deals, plus a couple from yesterday that warranted a repeat mention.
I’ll update the post if I find any more.

I know some people swear by Ingersol Rand. Amazon has this Ingersoll Rand 36QMAX 1/2″ Air Impact Wrench for $138. Claimed savings of 31%.

I don’t track it’s price normally, but Northerntool and a couple of the auto stores has it at least $200.
Bonnie
CCC indicates that’s a historically good price too.
Tom
Does anyone know anything about Giraffe Tools? I’ve never heard of them before and they seem to be all over prime day.
Stuart
They reached out over the years, but I have not tested their products yet. There’s been an increase in readers emailing with “look at this!” types of messages, but not “I tried this and it sucks.”
mike
i got a giraffe garden hose from a local open box auction a few years ago.
The hose is SUPER small. probably half the flow rate of my flexzilla or standard hoses.
I would not count on it to feed a power washer, might even starve a bank of sprinklers.
But for around the yard watering a flower pot or washing a car its perfect.

A hidden super deal is the highly rated, Rotex competitor Bosch 6” dual mode sander at prime day price of $239, with an additional clippable $20 coupon, plus $75 off if you add in the prime day priced Bosch 10–12 piece router bit set at $100.
I think the coupon offer is gone, but the $75 stackable discount is still live.
Brian Puccio
I love my Bosch dual mode and got it because I compared it to the Festool Rotex and thought it was the better buy of the two. Current model is GET75-6N and is made in Hungary if that thing matters to you. Acme is selling it for $329 minus the 15% off sale, as a reference point. Mine is the older model, FWIW, but I’m pretty sure the consensus is that they’re comparable.
Julian Tracy
Looks like the model I bought from Amazon is the new model, so after discounts (about $170 new for a $329 sander (split the $75 discount in half…). Glad I spotted it.
RD
I just saw I’ve got the coupon, so $219 is great for the sander! Thanks for this, none of the price tracking sites caught this for me.

Seneca Woodworking – just sent an email – promoting their Prime Day sales

Thanks fred!
1x Mini Magnetic Square – Mini Magnetic Square for $49.95 each
1x 4″ Saddle T-Square for $64.95 each
1x Mesh Back Trucker Hat for $19.99 each
Never heard of Seneca so curious to try the precision sqaures. I could definatley find cheaper alternatives but if these are that good then better than buying twice.

I know there are a bunch of people here who are into flashlights, any opinions on ThruNite and NEBO?
Stuart
I bought smaller ThruNites and like them, but haven’t tried their larger or modern rechargeable models yet.
I’ve stayed away from Nebo because of problems readers told me about years ago, and an issue I had with their waterproof claim once.
Olight has put a lot of flashlights in my hand, and I bought a couple of others. I like the compact Baton 3/4 lights the best.
Fenix is great – I spent a ton on different models to get up to speed on rechargeable lights. I also spent a bunch on Nitecore. I have much longer experience with Fenix, but both of these brands would be at the top of my list.
Acebeam has been courting me, sending flashlights with no strings attached. So far I’ve been very pleased. I think they have a couple of Prime Day deals too.
There’s also Streamlight at much higher price points, although they don’t seem to have innovated at the same pace as their international brand competition.
AP
I have 5 Nitecore flashlights and love every single one of them. Have a Fenix headlamp and it’s the bees knees. Coast lights have been good to me too.
BigTimeTommy
Thanks Stuart. Just ordered a ThruNite BSS Saber for $10, looks like it’s usually $25. Currently using a Streamlight AAA micro stream daily at work. Like it a lot and has proven to be durable but I should’ve bought something a little brighter with a bigger battery.
Stuart
$10 seems great – I hope it works out for you! Hmm, the neutral white version looks interesting, but I’m way behind on flashlight writeups as it is.
There’s a USB-rechargeable version of the MicroStream, but I don’t believe it has been updated with USB-C yet.
TommyTheCat
How’d you do that? I’m seeing $25-27 amd a 20% coupon at AMZ. Please share, that’s a great deal.
Stuart
There are a couple of models at $10.99 https://www.amazon.com/ThruNite-BSS-Rechargeable-Performance-Green/dp/B0CWRFQHBT/?tag=toolguyd-20 .
