Senco Releases Two More Fusion Cordless Finish Nailers

Senco Fusion 16 Gauge Finish Nailer

Senco is releasing two new Fusion cordless finish nailers, the F-16A, and F-16S, which drive 16-gauge 20° angled or straight nails, respectively. These nailers are joining the F-15 Fusion finish nailer, which we reviewed early last year and absolutely loved, and F-18 brad nailer.

After the success of their F-15 and F-18 nailers, Senco is adding the new 16-gauge nailers to satisfy user preferences. We loved the 15-gauge finish nailer that we reviewed, and have heard nothing but good things from other Fusion user reviews.

MSRP is $399. F-16A model number is 5P0001N and F-16S is 6U0001N. Online availability is a bit thin at the moment, so you may have better luck checking with your local Senco dealer.

Senco Fusion Nailer Tech Summary:

The Fusion series of nailers are designed to deliver the power and feel of pneumatic nailers, while being powered by single rechargeable 18V lithium ion batteries. The battery does not produce the drive power, but is used to reset the piston in a permanent factory-sealed self-contained compressed air cylinder. There are no added consumable costs as with fuel-based cordless tools, and in addition to being lighter, performance is said to be superior to that of other brands’ battery-powered nailers.
