Stanley Fatmax Double Tape Measure Pack

Home Depot has a bunch of nice “buy one get one” promos going on right now, such as their special Milwaukee Fastback knife and Milwaukee magnetic tape measure bundle packs. Here’s another good one – two Stanley FatMax 25-foot tape measures, for $20.

The new bundle pack, model FMHT74038D, comes with two Stanley FatMax 33-725 tape measures, which normally cost about $20 apiece. Here, the two tape measures combines are $20.

You can consider this akin to a “buy one get one free” promo.

The tape measures feature 11 feet of standout, a stainless steel wear plate, Mylar polyester film, Blade Armor coating, dual material comfort-grip case, a special hook that can grab reference points from the top, bottom or side, a belt clip, and a strong spring for smooth retraction.

Seems like a good deal.

Right now it looks like the deal is in-store only, but this might change as we get closer to Black Friday and the December shopping season.

    Oooh. Tempting. I love my Fat Max, but it’s only a 16 footer, and I’ve oven needed just a little more.

    I’ve beat it up, and it still retracts just like it’s new, and still extends nearly as far as new, without drooping.

    Just saw these in the store and it looks like they are going fast. If I had been alone I would have grabbed a pair as these are my favorite tapes, but I didn’t want to listen to a chorus of “you don’t need any more tape measures” for the rest of the night.

    I own this tape and the “11 feet of standout” is very very useful when working with out a helper. I can do 14 feet stand out easy.

    If you’re going to pick one of these up, I’d recommend doing it in store. The sku is the same for the single and for the combo pack. Buy it online and pick up in store, you may end up with a single pack waiting for you.

      When you do online orders with in-store pickup, the confirmation has photos of the tools. And the description also says “2-pack.” I would be surprised if anyone orders a 2-pack and only receives a single tape in-store.

      After today I fully believe it is possible. I ordered something online for pickup and when I got there the tool pouch waiting wasn’t what I ordered. Different brand, different model, the only similarities were that both were tool pouches for the same price and same number of pockets, but the same SKU. I was not happy.
