Save up to 35% on Stanley, Proto, & Blackhawk Tools at MSC

MSC Save on Stanley Proto Tools Feb 2013

Now through March 1st, 2013, save up to 35% on Stanley, Proto, and Blackhawk tools via MSC. There are non-explicit exclusions and the notoriously evil “up to ##%” discount wording, but any discount on Proto and Blackhawk tools sounds good to us. We’re inclined to instead shop at retail stores for Stanley tools, but maybe the promo brings MSC’s prices below big-box store prices.

Coupon code is STANLEY35H.

I got quotes from them on the complete sets and it is certainly not cheap.

    18 PC Standard set is 611.40 — reguarly 940.61
    11 PC Standard set is 229.99 — reguarly 353.83
    20 PC Metric set is 595.22 — regularly 915.72
    14 PC Metric set is 290.43 — regularly 446.82

    OUCH!

The prices for the smaller sets doesn’t seem at all unreasonable. The prices are going to be higher than for non-ratcheting wrench sets. With the larger sizes, prices do go up quick.
