Scott sent in a tip (thanks!), linking to a report about a new Bluetooth-connected cordless tool. It’s… something else.
There’s no word as to whether it will be available in stores or online, or how much it’ll cost.

HAHAHA
Hopefully you got a kick out of this, as I did. It’s even funnier because of all the “why does that have to have Bluetooth” stuff that has come out in recent years.

Someone over on a mainly Milwaukee mechanic facebook page, photoshopped that image and upgraded it to a m18 fuel model. So I had an inkling that might be the product you were going to reveal

How true

Shame it looks like they only have it in a DYI/weekend warrior model and not a Professional/Contractor edition 😉
But on a serious note, was telling a customer about the Cordless heatgun and soldering iron.
He said he would like an organic weed killer for grass in cracks, etc basically it use’s steam to kill like boiling water/propane flamer does, it would be perfect addition to TTI lineup, Ryobi already has a 18v 1.5g sprayer,
It would fit in with all the Eco/Green marketing around cordless OPE and the increased shelf space that organic fert, organic -cides are getting in the box stores and garden stores. As well in landscaping trade mags and stores li ke Erwin irrigation. So Stuart if know any R&D guys at TTi pass it along. I would buy one for personal use unless they came out with a commercial level. It would probably have to use distilled water to avoid scale build up.

Opps just proofed comment,
Basically a cordless steam wand for killing grass weeds in the cracks, sidewalk, or even spot killing dandelions etc.
