If you buy something through our links, ToolGuyd might earn an affiliate commission.

There are some noteworthy tool deals and discounts this fine Monday.

Home Depot Deal of the Day – Save on select cordless power tool combo kits, tool kits, hand tools, and accessories. There is a huge selection of Milwaukee M12 and M18 tool bundles, select Ryobi and Ridgid special buys, and more.

There’s also a good price ($159) on Dremel’s 20V Max Ultra-Saw 2-battery tool kit. Amazon has it for $185 after coupon. (Update 9pm: Amazon matched Home Depot’s promo price AND kept the coupon, bringing it to $149 at checkout.)

Acme Tools – There’s a new “buy more, save more” Tax Day promo where you can save up to $50 off with coupon code REFUNDME. It’s $15 off $149+, $30 off $249+, and $50 off $349+.

Tool Nut – While they don’t have a special deal of the day today, Tool Nut always has a broad selection of discounts and special-buys. If you’re deal-shopping, it might be worth checking out their current specials.

If anyone happens to live near a Blain’s Farm & Fleet this is an absolutely killer deal. Dewalt 20V Max flathead grinder (usually costs $250 alone) plus two 6ah batts & charger for $199. Sadly this is in-store only, no mail order.

Love Farm & Fleet. That is a deal, might have to pick one of them up. Thanks MM.

No problem at all. If I lived anywhere near a F&F I’d have been all over it. I’d probably have bought two. I already have one of those grinders and it is fantastic. Plenty of power, very good clearance, and the guard is well designed too.

The Acme deal looked decent (just under 15% off if you spend exactly $349)
So, I looked at the new Makita XOB03Z 1/3 sheet cordless sander – as a possible gift.
    But alas – Acme’s price is $179.99 – or $164.99 with $15 off – that’s $5 more than ToolNut’s regular price of $159.99. I’ll wait!

Been looking at the Milwaukee M12 4-in-1 installer + battery + charger for a while. The combo of that with a right angle drill for $30 less than the installer/battery/charger alone was too good to pass up.

The DeWalt 7485 job site table saw combo with that rolling stand is a great deal at that price, too. That’s the stand I have and I can tell you it’s much more robust than the stand they usually bundle with that saw.

Neglected to mention these are today’s Home Depot deals I’m talking about.

The 4-in-1 install driver is awesome, I can highly recommend it.
And I will share a tip that I picked up here on Toolguyd: Instead of holding it like a normal drill, hold it like a drywall screw gun, with your index finger pointed forward along the side of the tool, while you operate the trigger with your middle finger. This grip makes it much easier to access the forward/reverse buttons on the top. I’m sorry I can’t recall who to thank for this tip, but whoever it was, Thanks!

IMO, if the price is not a concern, you are better off buying the European version. All attachments are made of steel, forward and reverse is physical slid button and much better ergonomic shape. there is a guy on IG who sells them, “adzysgoods.” No affiliations. I just have the US version, and I didn’t like it.

So normally the price difference on later bundles is negligible, but this time:
    https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M12-FUEL-12-Volt-Li-Ion-Cordless-3-8-in-Impact-Wrench-w-3-8-in-High-Speed-Ratchet-and-3-8-in-Extended-Reach-Ratchet-2554-20-2567-20-2560-20/319396783
is $70 less than what I paid for the same tools (separately, during “buy more, save more” promo) in early March. I have my receipts, can I get HD to refund the difference? They already know I’m just going to spend more with them.

If this was an online purchase, call them up and ask.

If it’s the same exact bundle, a rebuy-return might be the easiest path.

FYI, the Amazon price for the Dremel saw dual battery kit has dropped to $149 after the coupon.

Thanks! I’m guessing they decided to match Home Depot. The $10 “clippable” coupon is a bonus!

If you’re in the market for a mid-sized air compressor, Amazon has a 2HP, 10-gallon California Tools compressor at quite a discount ($180 off HD price). I’ve got their little 2 gallon, and love it. Super quiet. Just bought this one to replace my “larger” 6-gallon pancake (super loud) that I have in the shop.

Amazon also has what seems like a great price on a Gearwrench Bolt Biter socket set for just under $160 compared to Acme’s price of $240

Home Depot has it for $162.49. $160 could be a promo price, but it’s hard to tell what the regular price really is.
