Acme Tools Last Brand Standing 2025 Tool Deals Bora vs Craftsman 3-11-25

Acme Tools’ Last Brand Standing sales event has entered its second day, featuring 4 brands with all-new tool deals.

These deals look good, with some of the best pricing I’ve ever seen on popular gear from tool brands. Check ’em out and act fast – yesterday’s deals proved that supplies are limited.

Bora Tool Deals

Bora Portamate Speedhorse 2pc Set – $104.98

Bora Wood Storage Rack (6 Shelf) – $34

Bora CentipedeWork Support with Accessory Kit – $69.99

The Centipede looks like a great deal, whether you want just the expanding workstand, or the workstand with the accessory kit. This price is lower than the 2′ x 4′ stand by itself, and considerably less than the same package elsewhere. Amazon has the same package for $109.99.

Bora 4pc Parallel Clamp Set – $119.99

Bora (Slimmed-Down) Sawhorse – $29.99 (each)

Craftsman Tool Deals

Craftsman Compact 25′ Tape Measure 2-Pack – $12.98

Craftsman V20 Brushless Hammer Drill Kit – $89

Craftsman VersaStack 71pc Mechanics Tool Set – $37.49

This is half the price compared to both Lowe’s and Amazon! Even if you don’t care about the VersaStack tool box connectivity, it should be a sturdy portable case. The tool set also includes hex keys, but under $40 looks to be a good price for 2 ratchets, 40 sockets, 1 adapter, and 28 hex keys.

Craftsman V-Series XXL Double-Ended Ratcheting Wrench Set (metric) – $119

Craftsman V-Series 1/4″ Drive Mechanics Tool Set – $59

This is a fantastic mechanics tool set, but I must point out that Lowe’s still has it at the fire-sale price of $39. Even if you have to pay $15 for store-to-door delivery, that still works out lower. If you’re feeling risky, Amazon 3rd party sellers have it for ~$47.

Acme Tools Last Brand Standing 2025 Tool Deals Bosch vs Flex 3-11-25

Bosch Tool Deals

Bosch 5″ Variable Speed Sander RECONDITIONED – $39

Bosch Router Kit RECONDITIONED – $139

Bosch Benchtop Router Table – $169.99

Bosch Green Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser plus Bonus Battery – $69

Bosch Blaze Connected 165′ laser Distance Measurer plus Bonus Battery – $99

Flex Tool Deals

Flex 24V Cordless Hammer Drill Kit – $179

Flex 25V Cordless Impact Driver Kit – $99

Flex 24V Cordless Drill Kit – $99

Flex 24V High Torque Impact Wrench Kit – $299

Flex 24V Cordless Angle Grinder Kit – $199

All of these deals are only valid 3/11/25, thru 11:59pm ET, unless supplies sell out sooner.

That’s a great price on the Centipede sawhorse. I have two that size and prefer them over one giant 4’x4′ or 4’x8′ one.

Together they can handle 4×8 sheet goods and are plenty sturdy once you get at least one sheet on them.

When I had a bunch of 16′ lengths of baseboard and door casing I was installing in my basement, I placed the two Centipedes 4′ apart and had 2′ of trim hanging off each end.

    Would definitely buy again!

I’ve been meaning to get one, but am on a hiatus from buying tools and equipment until I finish a complete shop and storage room cleanout. I had a test sample years ago and wish I kept it.

This price is awfully tempting – I’m kind of hoping it sells out so that the decision’s made for me.

A 36″ high Centipede is serving as my miter saw table until I figure something else out. Kind of an amazing product. It’s all wibbly-wobbly until you put a top or a few 2x4s on it, and then it’s incredibly strong. And even then the legs are still a little wiggly, but that doesn’t affect how steady the top is. Slower to set up than sawhorses, but probably safer. You aren’t going to knock a Centipede over or have the top slide off. Stores light and small. There’s the thing about the height though. I went back and forth and decided on the taller ones, but I probably should’ve gotten the lower ones and used the extensions. You likely lose a little rigidity, but not much.

I have both a CK6S (4×2) and CK12S (4X6) and use the smaller one more often. It is easier to setup and put away – while my old hands often fumble around with the larger one. I use both mostly when I’m away from my home shop – and set them up with Bora’s CK22TM (20mm dog hole) tops (4x2ft) that are hinged and fold in half for carrying. I’ve modified the tops to work with jigs and dogs that I have from Benchdog UK, TSO and UJK.
I paid $68 for my CK6S – but that was in 2023. I bought the CK12S at the same time for $140.

Stuart. Just one lil typo: “Check ’em out and *ask* fast –”

    ***act fast * sounds more appropriate? ;<}

      Thank you, *fixed*!

@FixThis, I appreciate corrections! I also understand – and appreciate your stance.

It’s extremely difficult to edit one’s work. I don’t know about others, but if I miss something in the first proofread, and it looks right, I’ll miss it again and again.

I’d rather someone bring up a minor mistake than for me to find it 5 days, months, or years later.

I sometimes think that self-editing often falls prey to confirmation bias.
Our brains know what we meant and sometimes fill in missing words or overlook spelling or grammatical errors. A second pair of eyes will often (but not always) pick up these mistakes.

Exactly. But if I slow things way down and read even more carefully, I tend to change a lot, which sometimes increases the word count, introduces new errors, or both.

I know how it is, I sometimes miss my own mistakes, often times because I know exactly what I ‘typed’ but the smart auto-correct ‘fixed’ it for me, or its something like this that looks right when proofreading cause it fits in and looks right but it’s just a few letters off, so you miss it easily.

Obviously FixThis(childish) never made a mistake nor noticed I’m far from the first ‘pest’ to point out a typo that was overlooked and you appreciated after seeing and correcting. I really don’t know how a GED recipient can not see all the many, many times a commenter let you know of a mistake, to which your appreciation was shown. Clearly still learning how to fix something…..allegedly!

Keep up all the good work…typos and all!!

People were fools for sitting out on the Craftsman V-series tools that Lowes clearanced out around october.

That XXL double box end wrench set was only $40 in store (SAE and Metric).
