Milwaukee M12 Fuel tools are sweeeeet. Second generation tools are coming out soon, but these are still powerful, fairly compact, and excellent performers.

I don’t know where the M12 Fuel drill is, sorry. Maybe I already gave it away. Included are an M12 Fuel screwdriver (with drilling mode), impact driver, and impact wrench.

I’m throwing in a new Craftsman utility knife, Irwin multi-bit screwdriver, Craftsman mini pliers (imported), and a Dewalt 12V Max stress reliever squeeze ball. Because… flat rate shipping =).

Notes:

Some of the tools have been in deep storage. The rubbery grip material has bloomed and needs a good cleaning.

Batteries and charger are NOT included.

  34. My M18 has been getting less and less trigger time since I got started with M12. The impact and screwdriver would round things out perfectly. I have the original M12 screwdriver and it comes up just a bit short on torque now and then.

  35. The M12 is something I got sucked into (haha) this year. It started with a great price on the hammer drill and an inspection camera for $100. I got an impact and a regular drill from a home depot sale. I decided for work I need the 3/8″ ratchet. What I don’t have is the screw gun and the impact wrench. I would really love to add it to my arsenal.

  64. I’ve been using the same corded Craftsmen drill for almost 20 years now. It still works, but as I head into home ownership I am in dire need of a cordless set. Since I don’t have any cordless tools yet, I don’t have any brand restrictions in terms of matching battery packs. These tools will get used for years to come on home improvement projects. I tend to take care of my belongings so they will live a long life assuming there are no manufacturer defects.

  130. Hello! I have two daughters under 8 that are interested in learning how to do basic woodworking and other mechanical things. I’ve checked, and they can use tools the size of the M12 lineup with minimal help because they are lighter weight. I’d really like to have a set so they can work on things using power tools themselves, instead of having me guide a much larger tool for them.

  232. I’ve had a few Bosch drills over the years but every time you make a review on here about Milwaukee drills I have wanted to change over and go that brand. My new property has a detached garage about 200 feet away from the house and I really want another set of drills for the house. Been dying to get some Milwaukee for a long time.   237. I regularly train family members and workmates on the proper use of power tools. Youths and female trainees seem to generally prefer 12 volt tools, like the Milwaukee M12 line, because of their size, weight, and overall ergonomics. More power tools would allow me to provide more training.

  244. The milwaukee tool line has always been a grail for me ever since my father purchased a milwaukee sawzall, it’s lasted over a decade. I’m an avid car tinker, house DIYer, and an engineer by day.

After moving into a new house they have become my default around house power tool. Not to much power. Grabbing the screwdriver and impact wrench would give me even more functionality. In many instances 18 or 20v is just over powering. The reduced weight makes occasional use by my wife very easy. Grabbed the xtra batteries on Black Friday this past year to ensure always ready to go.

    I won’t be entering the other giveaway options, since I’m not invested in those battery platforms, and with my son being 4 months old, I won’t be able to hand any of them down to him any time soon.

    However, I recently invested in the M12 platform with a ratchet and a drill. I would love to have some impacts and a screwdriver to go with it. I have been wanting the screwdriver, but have a hard time justifying the price when I already have a drill. However, I try to turn the settings down on the drill and end up over-torquing more than I’d care to admit.

On the rare occasions I need more power, it’s time to use a corded tool. I would use these to upgrade my first generation screwdriver and impact driver to the added power and run time of the FUEL versions.

  436. While my bigger drill setup is all makita, I have invested in the m12 system for smaller lighter usage with easy portability. Having a few extra tools would allow me to have multi bit setups for faster work. Already having the batteries is the best part. Thanks again!

  444. I’m in HVAC and have heavily invested in the M18 line. Always wondered how the M12 impact drill would compare and if it would be more useful in the field considering the compact/lightweight design. Also would give me more of a reason to invest in the m12 battery platform, because I’ve always been wanting to try out the heated jackets from milwaukee.

  463. I started a small business doing home repair and renovations. I invested in some of the m18 fuel gear and it is fantastic. Oftentimes when doing drywall work or working overhead I feel like my arm is about to fall off at the shoulder. The M-12 Arsenal would make a great compliment. Additionally when I am doing cabinetry work or some electrical work I need something a little more gentle–with the M18 I have broken a few things :).

    Additionally I love the fact that if it weren’t for these tools, how often would the world think about Milwaukee (the city).

In another comment, I wax Seussical about my adoration for Bosch, but the Toolguyd reviews of M12 gear sometimes make me wonder if I should swap my blue compact drivers for red. I’ll gladly invest in a charger and battery pack in order to find out.

    And this bundle has all the useful toys — the mini-pliers will be used to open the folding knife’s packaging. The folding knife’s packaging will be used to get into the screwdriver.   510. I’m looking to create a tool set for my sister. When I went to help her build some shelves in her pantry, she brought out a terrible and cheap drill to help. I was going to purchase a 12v Bosch drill and give her my spare charger and battery. With this set, I would have to buy her a battery and charger but she would still get a lot of use out of the drill and impact driver.

  511. I repair RVs and have a number of M18 tools, they are often too large to fit in the tight spaces that I have to work in. I’ve been using some Bosch 12V but they suffer from poor battery life and from what I understand the M12 tools are much more powerful and should fit my needs better. I already have a couple of M12 lights, so I have some batteries and a charger. It’s hard to afford all that I need to do my work and these would be a huge help.

  516. I love my Milwaukee 12v sets I have so far. Probably one the the most used tools I have is the screw gun. I like not having to listen to the rattle of an impact yet have the quick change drive mechanism. And even though it’s the brushed model (like most of my M12 stuff) it does a fantastic job. But I would love to be able to compare/upgrade it to the Fuel model so I’m throwing my name in the hat. Oh yea…..the other tools would be nice too, especially since I don’t own some of them or a version of them 🙂

We bought our first house, a fixer upper, nearly three years ago and I was basically starting from scratch with regard to tools and abilities, and this website has provided me with invaluable knowledge, tips and advice. The genuine nature and honest opinions, as well as simple openness about things makes ToolGuyd a joy to read. The comment section also provides an incredible resource, and somehow in this day and age, remains civil, which seems remarkable. The content here has informed and swayed a lot of the decisions I have made with regard to tools in particular, among other things.

    As far as this prize package, I have yet to purchase any 12v tools, but I am really looking forward to expanding my tool collection to the point where I can have some light and compact versions of tools I already own. I have already decided on Milwaukee, in no small part to this blog, and I can’t think of a better way to start into the platform.

I have been wanting to break into the 12V size tools for some time now and have been debating between the three platforms you are actually doing giveaways for, with a toss up probably between the M12 for tool variety and widespread use and the Bosch due to the compact drivers and their barrel grip 12V jigsaw.
    I do handyman work for a living and love my Dewalt stuff, but sometimes its a bit overkill for the job.
