Here’s what the prize package will include:
Update: Since it’s not clear, I’ll put it this way: Winner takes ALL.
Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver (See at Home Depot)
I have given away quite a few of these Ridgid 12V Max cordless palm impact drivers – they seem to show up every season for review or gift guide consideration. Don’t worry, I’m keeping one for myself.
This is the first power tool my son ever used, at a Home Depot winter tool preview show. It’s easy to use, pretty comfortable, very compact, and has unique functionality.
It’s a light duty impact driver, but plenty powerful enough for smaller jobs, especially in tight spaces.
The one in the package is new-in-box.
Stanley Pistol-Grip Ratcheting Screwdriver (Was at Amazon)
I briefly tested and reviewed this Stanley ratcheting pistol-grip screwdriver a few years ago, I believe for a magazine.
The accessories are basic, but the ratcheting screwdriver seems well made. It’s an okay tool. I’m reluctant to let it go, but I have enough ratcheting screwdrivers, T-handle screwdrivers, and all kinds of other screwdrivers.
Stanley Compact Chalk Reel (See at Amazon)
This Stanley compact chalk reel, which looks a little different than the prize version, has a 3:1 rewind gear ratio, slide-open door for refills, and is downright tiny compared to other models. It has a 30-foot line.
I’d love to hear feedback on this, I never even opened it.
Stanley 14-in-1 Folding Locking Multi-Tool (See at Amazon)
Here’s another Stanley tool sample I never quite got around to opening. It looks both gimmicky and useful, managing to pack a knife blade, saw blade, bit holder, bottle opener, screwdriver bits, and sockets, in a small tool with locking components.
Let me know how it works out for you!
Dewalt 3pc Compound Action Pliers Set (See at Acme Tool)
The winner is getting the equivalent of a 3pc set. I think my samples were packaged separately? I don’t remember, these go back a few years.
I’m not a fan of most types of compound-action pliers, but these seem to have solid user reviews online. The locking tab on one of the samples was temperamental when I was fitting everything into a box, just so you know.
Bosch GLM 35 Laser Distance Measuring Tool (See at Amazon)
Different Bosch laser distance measuring tools models have slightly different features, and different working ranges.
This one, the GLM 35, was launched in 2015 as part of a refreshed lineup of Bosch pocketable laser distance measuring tools.
Frankly, I like Bosch laser distance measuring tools best out of all the ones I’ve tested. They keep trying to make them better, and have been driving down the price of their entry-level models without sacrificing quality or features.
Hopefully you’ll find some good use out of it. I use laser distance measurers quite often – usually a Bosch entry-level model – but the features on this one are more than I really need.
I learned all I really needed to know from other models, and that is this: Bosch laser distance measurers are superb.
Case “Back Pocket” Knife (Reviewed Here on ToolGuyd)
I reviewed this Case “Back Pocket” knife back in 2013. But since then, I might have used it once or twice.
I don’t want to be a hoarder, so please – take it, use it (safely and in compliance with your local knife-carrying laws), or shine it up and keep it as a collectible.
You can’t buy this exact knife anymore, but the Backpocket knife is still available with different handle styles. The closest one has a “burnt amber” bone handle and currently retails for $118.

iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit (See at Amazon) – Discontinued, Current Pricing is Inflated
As I mentioned in a post about good computer repair bit sets and kits, iFixit is a good instinctual recommendation. Their tools are fairly good, they’re not very expensive, and you don’t have to spend a lot of care or attention to piece together a custom kit from separate components.
This 70pc kit isn’t sold anymore, except at inflated prices.
They’re good tools for electronics device upgrade or repair applications, and I’ve used various iFixit tools for other purposes along those lines.
I received a bunch over the years, with this one seemingly only a package update version of set I previously tested. I had to break the seal to see what was inside – just today – but other than that, the winner’s getting a pristine never-been-used kit.
Klein Canvas Zipper Bag (See At Amazon)
I have been hesitant to give this Klein zippered parts bag away. Their tool bags are superb, and I kept promising myself that I would absolutely definitely put it to use for testing and review – soon…
I don’t like metal-zippered tool bags, but my experience with Klein has been fairly positive despite that.
Take it, use it, and while I’ll be jealous, I’ll be glad it’s in good hands.
Klein Cordura Ballistic Nylon Zipper Bag (See at Amazon)
With this Klein Cordura ballistic nylon zippered bag, I kept putting off tests that I wanted to do with sharp and pointy tools, the kind that need protecting but would quickly destroy tool pouches or bags made from more delicate materials.
This Klein bag seems perfect for keeping small hand tool bundles together.
You know what, nevermind! I have the PERFECT loadout to test it with. Oh. But it’s already shown in the photo on the top of the page. That means I need to include it in the prize package, doesn’t it. But nobody saw that photo yet! But… but… okay, it’s yours.

Questions?
Jason
If you are planning on shipping international you might want to add only open to people in the USA. Shipping international isn’t cheap and has issues.
Stuart
Good point – I thought I mentioned it, but I hadn’t. *Fixed*
I wish I could ship anywhere, but the costs and complexities are just too much.
Kent Hanson
But I’d pay the shipping!!!!
Steven Mclachlan
Me too! I wonder what percentage of readers are international?
I do understand not wanting to ship international though, it is a huge hassle compared to domestic shipping.
Josh
I’d be most excited to win the laser distance measure. I’m in month 7 of the home remodel from hell and keep finding new things that need to get fixed, and being able to get quick measurements would be a big deal. I’d give the pliers a shot, and the Klein tool bags would also get put to use. Anything redundant will get donated to the local makerspace
Ken
Oh, I have plans for the range finder and laying out my classroom. The rest would probably go to a friend who is a new shop teacher.
Jason
Oh the DeWalt pliers would be a great addition to my tool bag and those klien tool bags are always good to get.
Don
The Stanley pistol grip ratcheting screw driver set would be number one on my list. But this item would not be for myself. In fact many of these items would be perfect for my wife who likes to figit around the house a bit. She hates looking theu my tool bench or boxes for anything. More than that, she hates giving back what she has borrowed once she actually finds what she wants. So adding the screwdrive set to her little toolbox she has would be perfect and cover 60-70 % of her jobs she likes to mess with. The plier set would cover the other 30-40%.
That leaves me with the case knife as my own personal favorite on your list. Not that I dont have pocket knives but who can resist another one. Besides, if women can accesorize with purses, why cant men do the same with pocket knives.
Libby
I’d put the chalk line to use right away, hanging my first set of cabinets. I’m intrigued by the Stanley multitool. The ifixit kit I’d give to my employer, a small nonprofit, for the endless hardware repair and maintenance that comes up.
John Percy
I’m in for the laser measuring tool. I am so sick of measuring long distances with a measuring tape, and the end always slips off whatever its hooked to, or the tape bends and falls off, and I have to walk back and hook it again. Over and over again. Laser, just push a button, and done!
Brant
I’d be most excited to win the multi-tool. I’m on the road a lot with my job and also have my parents’ vacant home to take care of. I usually have a full toolbox in my vehicle, but it’s really handy to have something I can easily stick in a jacket pocket when I need it while I’m away or on the road.
ChachiJS
The iFixit kit! Holy cow I need one of these. I love my iDevices but going to find out sooner rather than later if I’m worthy of the IFixit badge!
Joel
I’d love to give the knife to my Dad, the Ifixit to the High School robotics club, and to use the toolbags. The other goodies can go in the marching band Dad’s tool crib.
BLW
Bosch GLM 35 Laser Distance Measuring Tool – buying a house right now between hanging things on walls andrunning coax/Ethernet cable drops this would be a big help
Brian Lamb
The palm driver looks to be handy as I could use that in tight spots.
Jim Suds
The iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit is what I’d like to be in the drawing for. While not building decks or hanging cabinets you’ll find me building/repairing computers.
Tim
I’d be excited to get the Rigid driver, I’ve got a job waiting for me that it would be perfect for. Or maybe the iFixit kit, I’ve had my eye on one of those for awhile now.
Tony Wilson
I like that Stanley 14-in-1 Folding Locking Multi-Tool . I love multi-tools, even the cheap ones find a use.
JD Bilodeau
Laser measure would be awesome! Definitely need that for measuring the garage- adding slat wall this spring.
Cody Zinker
I’ve been working on adding some solar lighting to my house and would love to use those dewalt pliers!
rhyino
I would be excited to use the Ridgid 12V Palm Impact Driver. My friend is a new home owner with a limited tool kit so far, I think the Stanley Pistol grip ratcheting screwdriver would be a welcome addition to his set.
Brien
I would be all over the plier set and the LDM. Might give the palm impact
To a buddy who is already on the Ridgid 12V platform. AWESOME giveaway!!
John D
The laser distance measuring tool would be amazing to have. My wife is never around when I need to measure something so it’s almost always rough measurements and I spend way to much time trying to make things right.
Brandon
That little impact driver would definitely be my top pick. I almost always have enough power from my driver; if it doesn’t work for something it’s because it won’t fit. I suspect this also beats out Milwaukee’s 90 & 45 adapters, because the entire tool is more two-dimensional than having a regular impact *and* an angled adapter at the end.
As far as the rest of it goes, there are some duplicates, but it never hurts to keep a few extra tools in the vehicle. The screwdriver, multi-tool, and pliers are the start of a great roadside kit.
DanM
Most excited: Bosch Laser level, only ever used el cheapos
Giveaway: Stanley 14-in-1 Folding Locking Multi-Tool; I am confident I would only hurt myself using it.
Alan Franks
I think I’d be most excited about the iFixit tool kit, since most tools that are appropriate for working on small electronics are either pricey or poorly made. I’ve read that theirs are pretty good. I would get a lot of use out of them, for sure.
Tom H
That ridgid palm driver looks like it could come in handy!
Levi Seymanski
Awesome, thanks for thinking of the website viewers when cleaning up house.
Andrew Q
I would be ecstatic to win that case knife. It has such a timeless rugged look to it and I currently don’t have any knives that I like enough to use as an EDC.
Neil
I think I like the klein pouch the best 🙂 No joke. Looks nice and I can’t be organized enough!
John Brennan
Would love the palm driver. Would come in handy in tight quarters.
Drew
The Dewalt Pilers, My Kobalt ones have not held up well and were not of good quality. The screwdriver sets would be very helpful to keep in office desk for assembly projects away from home.
Drew
Oh and if I am selected, Stuart you can keep the Klein Cordura bag as a reward for all the worthwhile content and information over the years. It has provided a lot of insight and savings.
Stuart
I was kidding. =)
The reality is that I need to push forward with reviews, and a lot of items just need to go.
If I cannot realistically review something in the next 2 months, and I cannot put it to use in my own projects, it has to GO so I can start with a clean slate.
Drew
I wasn’t, 🙂
Ryan
I have been eyeing the Bosch Laser Distance Measuring Tools for a while now. Havnt bought one because I have been waiting for a deal. Would be extremely helpful around the jobsite.
Grant Alpert
I’d definitely use the laser distance measure to properly lay out my house. There were no plans included with the purchase so I’ve been meaning to do this for a while!
Tim
The palm driver should come in handy in tight situations but the Dewalt compound hand tool set will likely get used the most.
Charles
iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit – My wife seriously needs to use something besides some crappy cheap chinese offbrand tool set for small stuff around the house… wait … apparently I’m too cheap to buy something better for her xD
Dewalt 3pc Compound Action Pliers Set – I personally have the needle nose version of the dewalt compound pliers. Overall it’s okay to use, though the compound action does making cutting wires feel like butter, but definitely not my go to tool, the Klein journeyman’s. This set would replace the terrible HDX pliers backup set that I leave in my workshop/garage.
Zippered tool bags – Guaranteed to put it to use doing something. Maybe aeropress travel bag *shrugs*.
Rock Hound - (J.Sutter)
I would be most excited to with the iFixit kit. I would keep that and the knife (because it is a knife) and the rest would go into the school’s STEM Club tool box.
Gordon
The Bosch laser “tape measure” has had my eye for a little while. I just finished building an addition on my parents garage and really should have bought one then. I keep forgetting how nice it would be to have one until after the project is over.
But I’m mostly interested in those Klein tool bags. Organization has never been my strong suit, but keeping things together, like all my electrical tools, could use the help of those bags.
Eric M.
I’m most excited about the impact palm driver and laser measuring tool! Both would help me install some cabinets in my garage that were given to me.
Dan
Thanks for putting all this together!
I think the iFixit kit would be the most exciting – because it seems that if I have the right tools on standby to fix something, that problem tends to occur much less often!
M Farewell
I own that laser measurer after reading your reviews on the bosch models. I would probably give away all of the tools to various co-workers who are all starting to build their own toolbox collections. I might keep the compound pliers – they look fun – and most of my plier collection needs a refresh. Oh and the Klein bags are definitely catching my eye! Thanks for taking the time to do this!
Tim collins
Laser measurer
Kelly Crow
I would love to win the Bosch GLM 35 Laser Distance Measuring Tool. As a handyman, I try to only buy tools for jobs I already have or are about to do. I have several jobs where I must measure rooms and hallways where this tool would be a huge timesaver. As you know, time is a handyman’s only asset.
Matthew Claus
Honestly the bags would be the biggest immediate item of use, I have a bad habit of throwing tools and equipment in cardboard boxes(amazon does not help). The remainder would definitely help me get motivated though! Could also use the laser measure for work.
Belikemike
The Stanley 14 in 1 would be great to have on my motorcycle! The rest of the tolls would also get plenty of use! TOOLGUYD.COM is the best tool site on
the web!
Daniel
I’m extremely interested in the Bosh laser. I have a crown molding install coming up and it would definitely come in handy. The iFixit kit would be a nice bonus. Been on my wish list for a while.
warrenkopp
I’d be happiest for the ratchet screw driver. gave away a bunch for christmas but still don’t have one of my own!
Travis
I’d be most excited to win the Rigid Hand Impact Driver. I have never had one but there have been a few times in the last month or so that I really could have used one in a tight spot.
Caleb Allen
Those DeWalt pliers look amazing!! I have been eyeing them in the Homeless Despot for months!
Scott Bennett
I would use the Ifixit Kit the most. I have a couple projects that I have been putting off because I don’t have the right driver bits.
George
The iFixit tools! I have everything I need for my replacement server build (file, photo, build server) and could really use some real computer tools to replace all the full-size hand tools I normally use.
Laser measure would also not go lacking as my wife and I are decorating our new house.
Daniel Janczur
That case knife is fantastic & I would love to EDC it.
Jonathan W
I think the iFixit toolset would be the most useful for me. I spend a lot of time taking apart small electronics.
Joseph M Ferguson
I’d be stoked to receive this collection, but probably most excited about the Case knife. Love ’em and don’t have the back pocket knife. Could definitely use the laser measure as I lay out my basement as we prepare to finish it out.
Mark W.
The iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit is the grail item for me out of this group. I find myself fixing a smart device and/or computer multiple per year (it seems like everyone likes to break electronics only to have me repair them). Starting with a cheap $5 repair kit in college that fell apart, I’ve since “graduated” to gift cards and bits that fit “good enough.” The case that this comes with is another huge plus to keep everything organized.
The multi-tool and chalk reel would go to my millwright cousin who never seems to have the right tools on him at the right time…somehow though, he’s still an awesome millwright lol.
Russ
I’d like to win the Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver. I only have a regular Ryobi drill and have been looking at adding an impact driver.
Thanks for give-a-way!
Chris Kelly
Always wanted to test the palm impact driver. I always find a use for the canvas bags. Thanks for the chance Stuart.
Bill
Definitely would like to try out the Rigid palm driver and would use the Dewalt pliers and Bosch laser on personal projects. Might have to stop by Acme and check out the Dewalt set anyway. The rest I could take to the school I work at and use or disperse there.
Thanks for all the info you provide.
Anthony
The Dewalt 3pc Compound Action Pliers Set would be an exciting upgrade from my cheap pliers that never grips.
Jesse
iFixit tools would be handy to have! I’m always in need of more electronics kits for my projects.
A laser measure has also been on my Christmas/Birthday list for a couple of years now so getting that would be nice with all of the projects we have going on around my house.
Ozeo
I am interested in the Dewalt 3pc Compound Action Pliers Set:)
Troy
DIY projects and little babies galore! I have no doubt the pliers and ratcheting screwdriver will be used putting together kids furniture and dollhouses!
Mike Somintac
Would be excited to win the stanley ratcheting screwdriver!
Cooper Shields
I’d love to win that Case knife! Would be a great addition to my collection!
Scott Beck
I’d be most excited about using the iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit. I do computer work on the side and this would come in very handy.
MDJ
I would be most interested in the laser distance measuring tool, as I have been eyeballing one for a while, and just haven’t had quite enough need to pull the trigger.
However, I am certain that it is one of those things that will get constant use once I own one. Kind of like my touchless thermometer.
Of course I would not mind the Dewalt pliers, since my lovely wife just bought me a Dewalt tol bag for xmas that they would look good in.
John H
Looks like some great stuff. I think I would keep some and share the rest.
Jeff Montanari
Midway through renovating my first home and honestly all of these tools could of helped me on some of my projects. The compact palm driver would probably help the most though, I seem to always need a small driver in tight spots. Would probably give the multi tool to my dad to keep handy for the small projects that come up at his house.
Eric
I’m most excited about the Bosch laser measure — it’s been on my wishlist for a while but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
Brad
I would be most excited to see how well the multi tool works, but for usefulness I’d like to use the parts bags for all the bits I carry around in my tool backpack
Bryan
The laser distance too, since I keep putting off getting one.
Craig
That iFixit kit would be awesome for repairing my kids toys!
Callum
The laser measuring tool would be by far the most interesting to me. Quite a few of the other tools would go to friends family members if I won.
Jim
Like others, the iFixit took kit is my preference. 2017 was a year of small electronics issues. And subsequently has rolled over into 2018. This kit looks like it completes what I do not have.
Most others would likely go to a young couple who just bought a true fixer upper house. I think his finance would really the Bosch measurement tool. She’s an ICU nurse, and surprisingly tech/tool savvy.
I’m certain if there is something that’s not of interest, it will be given/donated to someone who will use/benefit from it.
Steve Cecil
I would be most excited for the iFixit Tech Tool Kit as an AV professional I am always tinkering with various equipment and this kit would really be a lifesaver! As for giving away it would have to be the laser measuring device and the palm impact driver both to my Dad. He doesn’t do as much DIY as he used to, but both of these would be put to use again and again.
Greg N
I would probably use it all, except I would give the laser measurer to my buddy, as hes always is taking mine for extended periods of time! Bought a house recently, and I could use all the tools!!
Danniel P.
I would love any of these tools. I am always excited to get and try any new tools.
Alan Wood
I see a few items that’d be nice to have but I think the one item that would get the most use, even though I’d probably never actually go out and buy one myself, would be the Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver! One of those “Don’t need it but I’d use it often if I had it” kind of tools.
Coach James
For me, the tool pouches. I like using them to organize my grab and go box.
Thanks
Coach
Steve
I would like the laser measuring tool. Also the Klein bags would be handy as well as the dewalt pliers.
Christian H.
I’d be exited for the Ridgid palm driver and the Bosch laser measuring tool. Never used one of those before!
Luis Ocasio
Hello
The plier set most use for in travel tool kit to keep in vehicle, and EDC in car.
Klein bags for use in VETO pack. Laser tape very handy for work estimating ceiling heights for lighting retrofit jobs
Thanks
Tomcat_AL200
I’d really put the Dewalt 3pc Compound Action Pliers Set to good use
Chase Heller
The laser distance measuring tool for sure. But then again, I might not have any good excuses when the wife asks me if I got that picture hung up exactly in the center of the wall!
htxclf28264
That palm impact driver has been a long time want of mine.
John
I’d be most excited to win the laser distance measure, I have several projects coming up that require distances longer than my 25′ fatmax tape.
Chung
I’m most excited about those DeWalt pliers, especially that long nose. I have a collection of Knipex and out of all my pliers, the long nose one gets used the most. it’s precise and not bulky for most of the work I do with electronics. and those grips looks comfy.
Ken Sutherland
I would like the Case knife the most
Nathan Anderson
I’d be most excited to win the Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver. It would be perfect for my son to start using when he is helping me with projects. I’d love to give the stanley screwdriver kit to my church, as the one we have there is just a cheap, non ratcheting set.
I love doing projects around my church and there is always something that needs to be fixed.
JoeM
Canadian… Disqualified by default.
But that’s okay. I can only see the Stanley ratcheting screwdriver going to my friend’s daughter, and the iFixit kit for me as a backup for all the similar tools I’ve accumulated for the same purposes over the years.
The rest is literally of no use to me whatsoever, and I hope whoever DOES get this kit goes out and kicks some ass with it all.
Mike K
I’d love the iFixit tool kit. I have several computers and other small electronics that I don’t have quite enough tools to fix
Eric Buck
I’d be excited about using the Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver, I think it’d have a lot of great applications on different projects
Nosmo
I’d be most excited to win…..none of those tools. I already have an extensive tool collection, all of which are better than what you’re giving away. But, I do have friends and neighbors who would enjoy having most of them (and the guy across the street could stop borrowing my Milwaukee 90-degree drill adapter every time he needs to drive a screw in a tight space if I gifted him the Ridigid compact driver).
The girlfriend’s daughter just moved into a new apartment and has no tools, so I’d gift most of them to her.
Not sure what to do with the chalk line tool – I have 3, for white, red and blue – but I can find it a good home.
Please let me know when you’re giving away a 2-stage 80 gallon 175 PSI air compressor. I’d be really excited to keep that for myself. (My single-stage 60 gallon is an antique and the compressor has a cracked base and won’t stop leaking oil).
Robert
That palm driver looks really useful!
Jordan S.
I would love to win the laser distance measure, it would sure beat the regular old measuring tape especially when I am measuring up rooms.
Scrapman
Would love to use that Ifixit pro kit. My kid has summer teeth. Some are here, some are there and some are brown. I think with this kit and some crazy glue I can save a fortune.
ColonelColt
Honestly, I’d be most excited about the Bosch laser measure. My old one crapped out and I do home inspections for a living and I’ve been missing it quite a bit. I bought a cheap Stanley/Dewalt $20 one in the interim but it’s accuracy has been fairly poor. I’d also like to try out the Ridgid angle driver. I’m a pretty diehard Bosch 12v user but sometimes they’re either very expensive or the tool I want isn’t easily attainable in the US so it would be nice to have another battery type option. Also, pliers. Who can say no to more pliers?
Eric Bachelder
I would be most interested in the iFixit tool set. I am in IT and work on computer alot as well as my house and the other tool would come in very handy as well for my Kitchen remodel that I am working on!
Adam
I’d be excited for the Bosch laser. It would be perfect for laying out where we will set our package units at work!!
Tom
Palm driver looks handy
Matt M
I’d be most excited about the palm impact driver. I’ve been in the hunt for a smaller driver and this looks pretty great.
A W
Palm driver, laser, and compound pliers.
Thanks for doing this Stuart!
Tom Walker
I probably have some common tool fetishes: Flashlights, magnets, and knives. That back pocket knife has got me twitching.
ACC
Is it weird I’s be most excited about the tool bags? Impact drive looks pretty cool too.
Steven
I would want to win the Dewalt 3pc Compound Action Pliers Set and give it to my wife. She is always taking my pliers and cutter and needs a set her own in the house. The knife would go to my older Son who just earned his wood whittling chip in Boy Scouts. The palm driver would go to my neighbor who has arthritis and keeps using a screwdriver.
Pocket Handyman
Too bad for us loyal Canuck readers! We don’t qualify for the giveaway (because we’re to faraway, I guess!) However, if you change your mind….
I’d be EXTREMELY excited to use the Dewalt compound pliers set, as I was contemplating it yesterday at our HomeDepot. It would be a nice replacement for the “inexpensive” dollar-store quality pliers I’ve outgrown (although I have to say they weren’t horrible. Just cheaply made). The Dewalt ones have a decent fit n’ finish and would fit perfectly into my hand tools box.
(Plus, I also have to thank you for your attempts at getting me the sanding attachment for my Ryobi Corner Cat sander, it came in the mail directly from OneWorld in South Carolina just before the holidays. Nice surprise, and I hope that was due to your influence).
Kevin L
the knife would be nice for my dad, and I think I could make good use of the Bosch laser. thanks for the chance to win.
Jeff
I’ve been looking at that Ridgid driver for a couple years now; I don’t know why, but it’s one of those purchases that I wish I could justify, but can’t. Getting this one would, of course, justify the purchase of a Ridgid battery and charger, and perhaps other Ridgid tools. Hmmm…
As far as giving away, probably the Stanley ratcheting screwdriver and multi-tool. Both of my wife’s nephews are in apartments now; I’ve been giving them a few of my spare tools here and there, and I think those two would be helpful to them as well.
J., Homeowner
Stuart, this is extremely generous of you.
I’m not looking to enter the giveaway.
I just wanted to “giveaway” to you some positive feedback.
Thank you for all you do.
Sparky Apprentice
Would be excited to probably use the pliers. Would like to see how the measure to my kliens.
Tony
I would love to have the Bosch Laser Measuring device. Keep thinking I will pull the plug and buy one, but not sure if they are really that accurate. Winning one would be a great way to find out!
Jerrod
The laser measure will be the most handy, as I’m laying out a new workshop. But my teen just mentioned he wanted a new pocket knife, so the buck knife garners the most excitement.
Edward F
My wife and I just purchased a house and we doing many of the repairs and improvements ourselves. It has been fun with a few moments of the typical, “Yes Dear” as she tells me how to install the fan correctly when I should have read the directions from the start but I thought I knew better. The pliers would have helped on that project and I have two more fans to install.
We want to install shelves in the garage and the palm driver would be amazing to get into all of the small places my larger drill can not. Honestly, all of the tools will be used the moment they arrived because I need a chalk line to help with the shelves in the garage to keep them straight.
Thank you for doing these amazing reviews and giveaways! I am trying to build my tool collections and trying to purchase better quality than just the cheap stuff.
AlexV
I would love that Ridgid’s 12V Palm Impact driver, seems like a nice addition to my tool arsenal since I frequently work on custom cabinet installations, seems like it would be very useful for attaching drawer hardware and drawer fronts.
Chad
nice first tool giveaway for 2018
excited the most about the Klein bags!! I’m a back / pouch nut!!
thanks
CyrilJ
I don’t want any of these tools, but thanks for asking. What a great blog you have! My favorite!
Luke
Ridgid palm impact driver for sure!
Douglas
Most excited for the laser measure. A friend has one and I like this Bosch model good accuracy and distance
MT_Noob
I’d be most interested in the knife. It reminds me of a tiny version I had when I was younger.
I’d probably give away the laser distance measuring tool (since I already have one).
I’d also be interested in giving the Stanley Screwdriver set a chance. It is not something I would normally try or use, (based on first glance) but who knows, maybe it would end up surprising me.
I’d also be curious to see how the DeWalt pliers compare to my Irwin/NWS pliers.
Bret
I’m about to undertake a major organizational overhaul and those Klein bags look perfect!
But it's me!
The ifixit for me (since I fix most of the broken gadgets) and the rest probably to be distributed amongst my offspring.
claytonjn
Most interested in the palm impact driver! I’ve made good use of a impact-ready right angle adapter, but that still requires a good deal of clearance, just shifts the axis. My dad could definitely use the chalk line, and my sister/brother-in-law are just out of college and would make good use of the toolkits.
William
Thanks so much for the opportunity,
Very Nice selection, I work in real estate management, so the laser measure would ride in my glovebox for day to day use, easier than my current tape measure. I’d love that knife, would go straight in my pocket.
All of the Stanley tools and 2 out of 3 of the Dewalts would go to to my nephew, who iv’e been mentoring and spending allot of time in my woodshop with, set him up for when he moves out of the house.
The rigid impact looks interesting, but not sure if I would keep it, or pass it onto a family member. The computer tool set is probably more comprehensive than I need, but looks useful to have around.
Keep up the great work
Cameron
I like the palm impact driver. There’s been many times I wish I had a powered driver in tight places.
TJ H.
The 12v palm impact. This would be the one to give to my wife. She is always using my Milwaukee impact. She needs her own. The canvas tool bag is what I would use for my hand tools.
ninja68
I would be most excited to win the Stanley 14-in-1 Folding Locking Multi-Tool as I would carry it at work and it would probably see daily use.
with the Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver coming in 2nd.
I can use most of the other tools as well as I am a do it yourselfer and do not have any of those other tools yet, I would probably give the knife to my neighbor as I have several everyday carry knifes already.
George Avery
The Ridgid 12V Max cordless palm impact driver would help in my woodworking projects.
Luke T.
I personally love those DeWalt side cutters, they are great for home use. I use them all the time. I also have that iFixIt tool kit and it is a life saver for computer repair. I have disassembled my wife’s iMac a few time using it.
I am most excited to try the laser measurement tool and the little bags for random assorted items in the garage. Good luck to everyone!
rmkilc
I like the iFixit tool set and Bosch Laser measuring device. That Rigid palm driver looks nice too!
Scar
The Rigid palm driver. I have some joist work coming up and it would be perfect for that.
Jon
Most interested in the iFixIt set for myself; had one before but I think I ended up giving it away to a friend.
The palm impact and laser measurer would be nice gifts for friends; I’ve given those exact ones times before.
Mike the fixer
That Ridgid palm impact driver looks pretty cool and small enough to carry in my everyday maintenance bag.
Brian A
The Bosch distance measurer, always wanted one, too cheap to buy one since I have so many tape measurers. Some of the nice tools which I already have will save for in a year or two the kids are allowed to play with “real” tools. Since they cant touch mine, already disposed of old junk. They love trips to HD/Lowes as I let them play there.
Craig
I’d love to test out the rigid palm impact. Some of the custom cabinets we build are too small for regular sized to fit in. The chalkline would save me a few bucks since the one I use around the house needs some finessing to get the string to extend. My boss/friend would love the Bosch distance measuring tool since his got stolen before he had a chance to use it.
Sam
The Bosch laser measuring device because, well… lasers are cool!
Shawn
Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver because I have not used one yet.
David C.
The Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver looks interesting. I have 12 volt Ridgid batteries from my 12 volt jobmax I purchased years ago. I would probably give half of the tools to others I know that don’t have a ton of tools.
avi
Definitely excited for the laser measurer, followed by the impact driver. Tough bags for chucking random pointy stuff in are always welcome. One brother is into electronics, so the fixit kit goes to him, another just started managing some air bnbs so he may actually get the small impact as much as I think it would be neat to hoard, and he definitely gets the ratcheting screwdriver. The plier set looks interesting though, and somehow I think I’ll manage to find a home for the rest, although I can’t guarantee it won’t be mine.
Patrick M Walsh
Far and away the klein tool bag is the coolest thing in the lot. My buddy’s dad had one when i was a kid and I always thought it made him seem like some kind of expert at whatever the hell he was fixing.
Henry H.
Fun, fun! I’d be most interested in the palm nailer. Seems that would make rafter/joist installation a bit less painful. I also do a lot of work on computers/tech things, and have never owned honest to goodness tools for them. Probably upgrade a few of my basic hand tools, use the tool bags to keep a few tools “shop fuzz” free, and pass the rest along to someone who can use them.
Just bought one of those laser measurers. Pretty cool!
Thanks for the giveaway!
David
I’d actually be the most excited about two: the iFixit kit, because I’m a technologist by day, and a woodworker and tinkerer by night. It bridges both quite nicely, and would fill some gaps in coverage that I run into when working on phones and tablets.
The rest of my excitement would be for the Case knife. Members of my girlfriend’s family were metallurgists at Case, and their knives hold a special place in their heart due to their time there.
Ivan Linares
I’m a new electrical apprentice and the Bosch laser distance measure would really come in handy. To putting up strut, to running wires this tool would really make a difference.
Joel
Dewalt 3pc Compound Action Pliers Set – I would love to test these pliers on copper wire and zip ties. Hopefully their sharp new blades and extra leverage would reduce the brute force needed for these daily tasks.
Matt
I would love to get my hands on the Ridgid 12 volt impact driver I’ve been eyeing them for a while also laser distance measuring tool looks pretty sweet. Thanks for such an amazing giveaway!
Chris
The ridgid impact looks like it would be handy around the house and the ifixit kit looks cool also. The Stanley screwdriver and multitool would go to my buddy for sure he loves the Stanley brand.
Steve P
The laser distance measurer is what I’d be most excited to win. I have been wanting to purchase one, but have not yet. Many of the others would go to my son who is just starting to build out his tool assortment.
Thomas L Hendrix
The chalk like or the Ridgid palm screwdriver. My wife is obsessed with chalk lines because of working with her dad as a kid, so I’d give it to her.
Elliott W.
I am a senior in high school and to make few dollars once in a while I fix phones, so the ifixit kit would be put straight to use. What I am most excited for though is either the Stanley chalk line or the Bosch laser level because once it gets closer to summer I am hopefully going to start taking on jobs of my own before college. Therefore, I need a chalk line and a laser level for layout work. The runner-up for me would definitely be the DeWalt hand tools because I am sick of my cheap workforce side cutters and linesman.
John G.
Howdy!
Case knife would be awesome…my little boy is now in the Boy Scouts and I got him a pocket knife to whittle with…I would love to whittle along side him with this Case knife!
Thank you Stuart!
John
Matthew R
The Dewalt pliers, I’m in need of some new ones and the zipper bags will be nice. You can never have too many of them.
David
That Bosch laser measurer is pretty exciting. I almost bought the $40 holiday special one.
Vorononkov Stanislav
Hello!
Klein Canvas Zipper Bag
Jack P
Would love to test out the palm driver. I already have the iFixit kit and it’s handy so I’d donate it to the school robotics program.
Norman Huizenga
I’m really curious how that rigid screwdriver holds up. I have the Nextecs that have seen lots of use around the house, but Sears has all but left those in the dust. So if I do get it, I’d hope batteries would still be somewhat accessable. I do use DeWalt a gyro screwdriver, even that is its own thing.
Pskelly99
Looking at the dewalt pliers, lost a lot of tools recently.
Randy
I’m pretty exited about two things in the kit, the Rigid palm impact driver. This would be great in all these little tight places, making/repairing furniture and other tight places, I’ve thought about picking up one of these and a small palm nailer many times and just didn’t do it, then I need it and have to figure another way of fixing something. Second the ifixit kit, I’m the defacto IT guy at work and at home, and this kit would make repairs much easier, than trying to make normal size tools work on the tiny stuff.
Stish
I don’t know if I’d like the pliers or impact driver better. Most of these should be great for my truck box and organization.
Yadda
The impact driver would be the cool gift to win! I have one so if you pull my name, pull another one. I wanted to thank you for this really great give away!
Wilson Moyer
I love the Klein zippered bag. Could put that to good use!
Rich G
Oh man what a goodie bag here, the compound action pliers would be great to try out for me, though the Ifixit kit looks neat.
Thanks Stuart!
Roger
I like the IFIXIT Toolkit. I need it to take apart some iPods and phones. I have some of the tools I need but need the special tools included in the kit.
Adam
I’m excited about the Palm Driver. I’ve always been interested but have never bought one, felt redundant since I have drills but have wished I had one in different situations. Also, I like canvas bags and diagonal cutters (I haven’t tried the DeWalt ones).
Rinol R.
Ohh i’d definitely like to try the Rigid Drive. I’ve been a lurking on this site well over a year and I have to say great work keep it up!
Adam
I’d like the rigid driver to install some drawer glides for some upcoming cypress nightstands we’re building at work. Thanks!
Tony D
I’m in for the Klein bag. Great for organizing anything.
Scott
The palm impact driver would be great. I have a small cordless screwdriver like that, which I use all the time, but it just wore out after at least 10 years!
John Murray
I would love to win the screw driver set and the pliers set. Because I can never have enough! Thanks
brad
That ifixit kit would be real handy to work on my computers and other electronic devices. That looks like a great kit.
Ben
I would like to win the Case knife. I have a moddest collection of Case knives and I’m always looking for interesting one’s.
jessica lynn
I’d be happy to win anything, because it would be a gift for my husband, and beggers can’t be choosers 🙂
Lukas
Klein pouches for me. There’s always something to organize.
Chris M
No question, the Bosch GLM 35 measuring tool! I can’t tell you how many times I think to myself – god, I wish I had a laser measure when I’m fumblef#cking around with a long distance and a measuring tape . Thanks!
Boris Ioffe
iFixit toolkit is the most practical for me. I need to change my 27″ IMac power supply as it shutdowns randomly. Dewalt pliers, one can never have enough of those. Ridgid palm driver is one of those things that I wouldn’t purposely buy. It could be useful. Distance meter goes as a present to the best friend. My 10 year old Disto is smaller and exceeds in specs this model in every way. For each chalk liner recieved, I pledge to sent 2 to fellow readers 🙂
Austen gann
I think I would try and use them all but my top 3 to use most frequently would be the dewalt pliers, Ifixit tool set (I break my phone a lot), and the Klein tool bags. If I didn’t use something I would probably give it away to a friend of mine.
Marcus
I would add the Case knife to my edc collection, and use the palm driver for my next cabinet making project. The laser measure I would give to my dad as I already have it.
Eric
I have been looking at that Rigid palm impact driver for ages.
Jerry Wyatt
I would love to get the impact driver. I recently had to quit my job and become a stay at home dad, which means no more excuses on the honeydew list.
Steve Ziagos
I LOVE all tools. I use lots of them every day. But I don’t actually own all that much. I’d be most excited for the Bosch measuring tool. Oh and the ratcheting screwdriver. And the iFixit kit! I want them all! Help me I have a problem.
Mark
Definitely the laser measure and those nifty tool bags
Nathan Mathis
I believe I would be most interested in the Stanley chalk box. I’ve burned through three last week alone. Two of those were older and one was new. I would be curious to see how well this box worked and if its smaller size would fit better in my rig. Thank you for the opportunity and good day.
Levi
Probably the Rigid or the DeWalt pliers for myself, for use on the 86 K10 restoration I’m working on. The iFixit kit goes to the guy who’s fixed my girlfriend’s iPhone screens for the past two years. And the rest to a friend who has recently started building up his tool collection.
Phil
I would love to get that electronics repair kit and that laser distance finder. I do a lot of small electronics repair, and I only have a few tools, so that kit would be helpful. I would most likely give away some of the other tools like the chalk line to my friend who has a shop.
August
Would love the tools and to give that knife to my father!
Great site, keep up the good work
Drew
I’ve been eyeing the ridgid right angle driver for a while. I haven’t brought myself to pull the trigger yet. I would also but the Bosch laser meter to work as well. We have one at work (my boss owns it) but I would love one for home.
Doug Sack
I would say the laser measure. I once bought one at home depot on clearance and found out after getting to the end of my fence project that the stupid thing didnt exactly measure well. Learned my lesson on buying clearance tools that are meant for measuring. Im assuming Bosch is a little better quality lol.
James McGregor
I’m building out a camper van – I’d love to have some of these tools to build out my travel tool kit and not have to move everything I bring back and forth between van and house before trips!
michaelhammer
I have long been intrigued with the Ridgid impact palm driver. What a great idea! I also know huge value of the DeWalt plier set. Although, they do block too easily in the pouch, pocket or tool bag. I suppose, if forced to, I could share some with my guys and wife. She loves doing handyman stuff, go figure.
michaelhammer
That’s, unlock too easily.
Andrew Atkinson
I would love to try out the pistol-grip ratcheting screwdriver set.
Thomas Boyer
As an electrician, a number of those tools would be very useful.
As a man with rheumatoid autoimmune disease, trying to support his family with hands wrists and most other body joints that are slowly being destroyed by my own immune system, a lot of those tools would be very helpful in getting through each day with less pain.
My tool bag has quite a few oddball tools that I only have because they make it easier and less painful to perform the normal hand motions of my trade. If I can do it with less pain, it’s worth the purchase. Lets me keep going longer.
The palm impact driver, the multi tool, the distance laser, the ratcheting pistol grip, others there, would all let me do my job with less strain on the joints. But probably the biggest help would be the compound joint plier set. Obviously as an electrician I use linesman’s and dykes to cut wire, screws, whatever, daily, and those compound jaws would make me expend less effort and therefore less pain.
Not to be a whiner, but there’s my sob story.
You asked.
Tom
Adabhael
I know I am most excited about the laser measure, and I suspect it would get the most use. I am most intrigued by the palm impact driver, because it feels like one of those tools you only realize is useful once you have it, and then you wonder how you worked without it. Or maybe not, who knows!? I would pass along the knife to an enthusiast friend.
James
I have almost bought that palm driver multiple times now. I have an impact but every time a need for this comes up I swear I am going to pick one up. The knife would be a fantastic every day carry. I have a family friend that is a phone junkie and I am sure he would be very interested in the ifixit kit.
Nathan W.
I would be most excited about the Klein canvas bag. I’ve recently purchase a small set of electrical testing tools, but they don’t quite fit anywhere together. The canvas bag would make for a nice grab-and-go kit, although it’s not something I would run out and purchase for myself. With that, I’d be most excited about passing along the Case knife!
James
I would be most excited to win the ifixit pro tool kit. I would use it every day at work.
BonPacific
That palm driver looks really interesting. I’m in the middle of a major reno (like always) and could definitely use something like that for dealing with the weird angles inside my kitchen island.
Brian
I’d be excited about the impact driver. I’ve been eyeing it for a while now.
KeithinKC
I would be most excited to use the ridgid palm driver. Looks very useful for tight spots and I have several projects over at my mom’s house that it would get used completing.
My son’s Boy Scout Troop could benefit from the plier set, Stanley multitool and pistol grip screwdriver. They don’t have many tools and the kit I got them for Christmas only had ratchets, sockets and wrenches. I’m sure we could arrange some action photos for the site!
Derrick Hunt
I’d be most excited about the Dewalt compound pliers and the Ridgid palm driver. The pliers for a tool bag I’m currently putting together and the impact for under the dash work.
Aaron Langley
If I were to win this assortment I’d be most excited to win the laser distance measure. I previously had a Bosch one that I picked up cheap on eBay. That was a year ago and I believe it was lost moving/ downsizing :-/.
Honestly I don’t have a use for most of the tools and would probably give most of them away as gifts. The Klein mesh bags would be nice as I have some random punches and impact accessories to organize.
juan
The Bosch laser tape measure. I was going to buy a few months ago but my birthday giftcard did not have enough $$$$.
bigiron
I’d love an impact driver – don’t have one of those. My daughter could use that multitool at her place.
corey wuertz
i love anything klien!
n144sh
Most excited about the Case knife. A classic!
Nathan L
The ratcheting screwdriver is my main pick here because i have some tools similar to some of the other stuff but i went straight for impact driver power tools instead of nice screwdrivers and don’t really have a good screwdriver. I also like the pocket knife and don’t really have one that … knife-oriented. The plier set would definitely come in handy but i think the great thing about this odd assortment is that everything else besides the knife and screwdriver would make great gifts for my several relatives who have recently moved into houses.
shawn slater
The palm impact driver would be awesome. I’m getting ready to start my first set of cabinets build.
Matt S
Thanks for the great contest! I would love to try out the compound pliers and cutters, never used a set and very curious how they would hold up. BUT- that pocket knife looks exactly like one my grandfather used to carry, I didn’t know they still made them!
Matt S
firefly
Honestly I am going to give most of it away. I am most interested in the Klein bags. I will test out the palm driver and see how I like it before deciding whether to give it away. Beside I don’t have any other Ridgid 12v tool. I’ll also take some of the pick tool from the ifix kit and give the rest of the kit away. The rest will be given away.
Victor
I would like to try out the Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver. I see them all the time but have never tried one out. Looks like they would be good for tight spaces. My son would probably scarf up the Klein Cordura Ballistic Nylon Zipper Bag. He’s a backpacker and small bags can come in handy.
Ringsteel
The small power screwdriver would be a time saver. I’m running circuits in a Harvey damaged home. Lots receptacles and light switches so this is a huge time saver.
The Bosch distance meter would help me figure out material as I’m in the middle of a homestead rehab. 8 acres of fence needing barbed wire, T-post clips etc…….
The above list really brought out the kid in me and said oh boy goodies……!!! not big tools but I also build computers so this is like a whooper of a bonanza!
Nice job putting all this together!
Josh
Being an IT guy the iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit would be put to good use.
Keith B
All of the items would be welcome in my toolbox! The iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit would be great for me now since I need to replace my daughter’s broken iPhone screen. The plier set would help fill in for some missing pliers of mine.
Wicks
Most excited for the Ridgid Palm Impact Driver. Had a chance to use one recently and it would be the perfect addirion to my telecom tool bag! My Makita impact would retire to my workshop.
Will Ligon
Out of all that, I think the bags would get the most use. Probably put a lot of the other stuff in them lol
Joseph
I would be most excited for the Dewalt pliers and the palm impact driver. I would probably give the laser level to my boss at work (he’s been wanting one). I might give the palm impact to my brother but I’d want to play around with it first.
Tom
I’d be interested in the rigid impact. Seems handy but I would be reluctant to get started on a new battery system.
Scott K
This is an awesome assortment! I would be most excited for the laser distance measurer and 3 piece pliers (since the grips on my Stanley set have started to deteriorate). With that said, the palm driver and ifixit set would see a lot of use. I feel a bit greedy entering since I’ve won in the past, but I don’t own any of these and they would all go to good use (I’d probably pass on the ratchet to a family member).
Joel Spangler
I’d be most excited about the Ridgid 12V Max cordless palm impact driver because It would probably be way better than the right angle drill that I have (and don’t like)
Cheyne Tobin
The iFixit Pro Tech Kit is something I will be purchasing (or some available version of it) in the near future in an attempt to repair the kids iPods and iPhones that are piled in the office with various destruction. I also plan on doing some upgrades to the family laptops and this would come in very handy.
Wayne
I’d use the Bosch laser measurement device most, but the Klein bags would be used a lot too. I’m intrigued by the palm impact tool but not sure how much I’d use it. Those pliers would get a good workout too.
I’d like to put a lot of wear on that Case knife and pass it on someday with a sweet patina.
Any surplus would go to the Denver Tool Library…
Shane
Probably most intrigued by the Dewalt pliers and in need of the Bosch laser. I’d give a few of the tools to a local non-profit that rehabs homes and employs teenagers, definitely can’t use them all!
BJ
The laser distance measure. Always wanted to try one. The Klein bags are a nice bonus.
Andy Eastman
I’d love the palm driver for working in tight spaces on my projects. Seems like I always end up using those little stubby Phillips screwdrivers from Craftsman I’ve had for years and this would be a nice upgrade.
Gary B
That palm impact driver would make a nice addition
Fernando Martinez
I’m looking at the ladder distance meter, I can definitely use it on my small business I just started. And obviously the rest of the tools can will be welcomed if I get to be the lucky winner!
Brian Jones
I would like to try the impact driver. I have some other Rigid 12 volt and like them. I also like the laser distance measuring device. I think it would be a cool addition to my gear. Thanks for the chance
mattd
I would probably use that laser measure the most. I have always wanted one, just have not got around to it. My buddy has one and whenever I help him with stuff it is just so darn handy. The pliers and driver would become gifts to my brother in law so I don’t have to bring as much of my stuff over when I visit and end up roped into helping with a re-model.
MattK
I would love everything, all of these will be given to/used with my son which provide plenty of bonding time. Of course this will only happen when the wife takes the daughter shopping, AGAIN!!!
clayton
I’d like to check out that palm impact, I could put those klein bags to use.
Patrick
I would be most excited for the 12 volt palm impact driver, that would be great for cabinet work. This stuff would als make a good tool kit for my brothers birthday ?
MOSH
I wouldn’t mind winning the Bosch laser
The Dewalt plier set sounds good to
The ifix it set wouldn’t hurt either.
Thanks for the giveaway
MacLean
I’d like to try the palm impact tool…but the iFixIt kit looks like a good set of micro bits…I fix computers for a living and you can never have enough bits…
Tony
#1 the laser distance measure. I’ve wanted to use one for a while now when using a tape measure by myself isn’t exactly easy.
#2 the Klein bags to keep tools in the back of my csr
Tony Davis
#1 the laser distance measure. I’ve wanted to use one for a while now when using a tape measure by myself isn’t exactly easy.
#2 the Klein bags to keep tools in the back of my csr
Andraz
I’d really like the laser measure.
Patrick H
The laser measure would be great for my job. I frequently have to survey existing building interiors and it would speed things up.
Josh Hipple
I would definitely be able to use the iFixit kit as I work on computers and fixing electronics around the house.
I would give the ratcheting screwdriver away as I just got a new set of screwdrivers for my birthday.
James A. Simons Jr
Id love to try the Dewalt 3pc Compound Action Pliers Set which may help with cutting wire at work. My hands just don’t have the strength anymore.
I could also use the Klein Cordura Ballistic Nylon Zipper Bags.
They would be great for misc. parts at work.
The Ridgid 12V Max cordless palm impact driver would be a plus at home.
there are way to many places that my Dewalt 18 v impact is just too big to get into with my at home projects
Szymon
I would love to use theRidgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver in tight spaces when fastening various screws
Also the Klein bags would be a great attidion to my tool bag to hold zip ties and small parts
The rest. Probably donate or gift to a friend as a house warming kit
Brad B.
I’ve always wanted to use a palm impact driver. Plus everything else is really nice. Thanks for this awesome giveaway. So many great tools here.
Dustin Lewis
I’d like to add the Ridgid impact driver to my 12v collection.
Chris
Klein bags are like mini tool boxes for big tool boxes to keep the smalls organized.
Fixitman1121
I would really like the dewalt compound pliers. I had mine stolen awhile back and I haven’t gotten around to buying a new set.
Mystichrome
I’d also be most excited to win the laser distance measure as I am also in the middle of a home remodel.
Gordon
Stanley Pistol-Grip Ratcheting Screwdriver
Robert
The palm impact driver looks like it would be really useful in my kitchen remodel project.
Stephen N.
I’ve always thought about getting a laser distance measuring tool, would be pretty useful for the longer distances, that would be my pick.
Nick
Pistol ratchet screwdriver and I would give the pocket knife to my old man.
Brian K
The laser distance measuring tool is probably the one I would have my eye on as I ready have versions of most of the others. Everything else I would then give to family and friends that don’t have those tools, or have lower quality versions
JAYoung
I was looking to buy the DeWalt compound-action pliers, so why not give this a shot?
At 65, my hand strength is not what it once was, and I think these would help me get a grip.
IJK
Definitely wanting that Bosch Laser measure. Been eyeing one for awhile, just haven’t quite justified pulling out the wallet yet. The palm driver also seems interesting.
Would probably give the Stanley stuff to a buddy as a house warming gift. And maybe that way he’ll stop needing to borrow my tools, as well….
SteveB
I’m in it for the ifixit set. Been tempted by them for awhile.
Brad Copeland
I am most excited about the Bosch GLM 35 Laser Distance Measuring Tool because I have an older one that wouldn’t hurt being replaced.
Nick
Wow lots of comments on this one haha. The knife looks awesome as I’m a sucker for knives. The tool bags would come in handy too.
Mahkook
I would love most to get my hands on that nice ifixit tool set. I get called on by family, friends, neighbors, and even students to be the electronics fix-it guy. I have learned to tear apart an iPhone and put it back together successfully but have a hodgepodge collection of tools to do this. I could really use that kit to do things right. I do the fixes for free since I have the ability and like to get to pop open things to see what makes them tick… plus it is really satisfying to fix a problem for someone and see them real happy they aren’t out a very expensive piece of electronics.
Paul
I’m most excited to use the Bosch laser measuring tool. I have one more house project and shop redesign that would benefit from that. The backpocket knife is a very close second.
Reddeye
The Bosch laser measuring tool would be amazing!
jec6613
Pliers! Most of the Stanley stuff I know of a good home with some family, and the iFixit toolkit I already have, but my best friend would love it.
Brandon
The Ridgid palm driver. I’ve been eyeing it up for months now
Brian638
The Bosch laser – I’m about to re-refinish my basement due to some foundation issues that had to be fixed. This would come in VERY handy…
Kdoug
Top items I’d be interested in winning:
1. Case pocket knife
2. Bosch Laser Measurer
3. Klein bags
Other items I’d probably give away as gifts.
Tcmault
Pliers and bags would be used in an off-road tool kit.
Tom Lang
Dewalt pliers are what I would use the most
Nathan Brooking
I would probably say the Case knife would be my favorite just because I like knives. But the laser measure would be nice too since its one of those things I always talk myself out of spending the money on.
Tony
Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver
Mutombo
I would be most excited for the knife. My dad used to always carry a case knife and it would feel nostalgic. I’d probably utilize the bags for my new years resolution of organizing my tools.
Thomas W.
I’d be most excited about the Bosch GLM 35 Laser Distance Measuring Tool , but all the tools would get used.
Jason
I would give the parts bags to the service techs I work with, they all seem to wear them out quickly. The laser distance measurer would suit me best as I perform heat loads on residential homes daily.
Albert
That iFixit kit looks interesting. And I just love random drawings!
Cory Graves
I’d be most stoked about the bosch laser or the rigid palm impact.
PB
Laser measure. Been looking to buy one for about a year.
I’d like to give the knife to one of my kids when they are old enough to get their whittling chip. I’d have to buy another one though.
The small tools are all perfect for traveling though.
Chris Jemmett
I’ve visited the Case/Zippo museum several times in Bradford PA and never been able to afford a nice Case knife! So that would be my best prize tool!
Pedro
For sure it’s got to be the iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit. I have a random assortment of PC-specific tools that I’ve collected but nothing in an organized kit like this one.
Good luck everyone!
KevinB
Palm driver for sure, along with the ifixit tech repair kit.
Andrew McNett
I’m a knife guy, so the Case knife and the mini screwdriver set will see hard use from me. I would also find uses for all the other tools as well!
Derick
Definitely the ifixit tool kit. It could get me out of (and into) a lot of trouble.
js0930
That Rigid Palm Driver. I’ve been in so many spots working on my house where that would have been useful!
Justin
The laser measure would be the top of my list. I have been thinking of getting one. The screw driver set and pliers I would give to my brother. He just getting started on getting some tools together of his own.
dean
I’d really like the DeWalt pliers. You can never have enough pairs of pliers. Serious.
Allen
I would be most excited to win the Ridgid palm impact driver as I’ve never seen anything like it before.
John Holmes
I really like that Ridgid palm impact, but I could use everything there!
John Holmes
Question: if you plan on shipping USPS flat rate why limit it to the contiguous U.S.? You can ship to alaska and Hawaii with USPS flat rate. And shipping USPS to Alaska isn’tmore than any other place by distance.
O’Shaughnessy
Hmm. I’d get the most use out of the Klein bags, for sure. Great for assembling on-demand project toolkits. I’m most interested in testing out the palm nailer — I was just reading up on those today. I’d give away the Stanley stuff and the iFixit kit to some family members who need more tools in their lives. I already have versions of those.
Rafael Ram
I think the palm impact driver would be the one I would use the most, seems like it would be handy in some tight spaces. I think that Bosch laser distance would be perfect for my dad since I’ve been looking for one for him.
HarrisM
The palm impact driver
Bryan
I’d be most excited about the Case slipjoint knife with the palm impact driver a close second. I love edc knives and recently acquired a benchmade proper which opened me up to the world of slipjoints. The palm impact driver is more of an intrigue of how useful it could be.
Mahalo
I would be most excited about the palm impact driver just for the novelty, and of course several positive reviews I’ve come across. I have a bro-in-law that likes to build computers, and would be happy to gift him the small tool set.
Mopar
Thanks for this. Way to make us lurkers comment, lol.
Most interested in trying out the Laser Distance Measuring Tool, I’ve never used one but I can see it being useful at my job. The pliers would probably get the most use though.
Kenneth Stephens
I would be most interested in the Case knife. I am an avid outdoorsman and a knife collector. Second would be the Ridgid Impact Driver, I recently bought into their 18v line, and although i have Milwaukee M12 tools, i like the Ridgid ones and would like to give them a try.
Adam
The iFixit kit, Dewalt pliers, & the Klein bags would be great additions to my tool bag. My sister would appreciate the Ridgid palm impact driver!
bryanhill
I would absolutely use that Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver. It would save my knuckles…
Bill Strobel
I really like Dewalt pliers set. That really looks like a handy tool set. Heck thewhole package looks good and I would like to win it.
Deb
The iFixit kit, & the Bosch laser!!
BrandonE
I would be most excited to win the Case knife. I inherited a bunch of Case knives and would love to add to the collection.
Caleb
the ifixit tools as my 3 year old has been bugging me to take apart his toy trains so he can see how they work.
JMP
I’m most excited for an opportunity to win the Bosch laser measuring tool. I think that would make my new fence install this spring much easier. If only there were a tree root removal device in this giveaway as well…
Jim Holmes
I just broke the screen on my laser tool last week. I would certainly put it to great use.
Tim Norton
I would really love the palm driver. Looks very useful
Gary Ratajczak
I’m very interested in the little Rigid palm driver. I can see that working very well to assembly cabinets using pocket hole screws.
Thomas Reece
I’m not sure I would use it a lot but the Ridgid palm driver looks interesting. Same with the iFixit kit. Great diversity here.
Tim in PA
I’d love to have the Bosch Laser measuring device!
Joe
Yes please!
Flotsam
Love reading your blog. I would be appreciative of anything I would get , but i love pliers! so that would be my first choice.
Question: Is entering the address required or is that only if you were to win?
Robert
The iFixIt kit would probably see quite a bit of use from me!
Thanks for running this giveaway, and good luck to everyone.
Ken
I have my eye on the ifixit kit. I have been putting off getting a phone battery and thats the perfect excuse to take something apart. The pouches look quite handy and im interested to try the dewalt pliers as I’ve never tried out that style. Id give the laser to my father as I already have a nicer bosch one, and probably some of the drivers/combo tool to my city dwelling sister as it looks like a good space saving apartment tool.
Mike M.
I’d definitely use the Dewalt pliers. I’d stick the pocket knife in my desk drawer for opening mail. I would be sure to utilize all the tools or find them a proper home.
james ouzts
I’d love to try out that Palm Impact Driver. I hava palm nailer that I thought was just a gimmick but turns out to be a tool I use quite a lot. I wonder if the driver would be the same kind of thing. The ifixit kit is also something I coudl put to use. My iPhone just turned into a mp3 player. I think I have an excuse to try to fix it.
Andrew
Laser distance measure
p
We put an offer for our first house. Ive been up at night thinking about all the work I need to do to it and the new tools I need to get. if I were to win, I’d be most excited to win the Bosch line measuring tool, and the Ridgid palm driver. I like to look of the Klein tool pouches, and eventually like to try those out.
Thank You for doing this!
Greg C.
Could really use the electronic measuring unit. Keep crinkling the end of my tape measures.
brian manis
awesome prize! I would give the Stanley multi-tool to my nephew. he’s 13 and should have some tools that are easy to keep in one place.
Dave Reese
I’m curious about the rigid palm driver, I am looking to replace some old battery tools and have not used rigid.
John C
I would most be interested in using the Laser distance measuring tool. It seems like an item that, unless you use it daily in your trade, wouldn’t seem like a typical “want-to-buy” item for a DIYer. I would most likely gift out: the 12V palm impact driver, as I caved in and bought the M12 Fuel impact and hammer combo this past Christmas; and the Stanley multitool. People who frequent your site probably have enough multitools laying around. I know I do 🙂
Shawn Mogy
I am most interested in using the laser measurement tool. Having purchased my first home last April I have had many projects to begin. I have always used my wife to hold the other end of the tape measure when it would fall off whatever I was measuring. This would allow me to improve the autonomy of my work. There are some duplicate tools in the giveaway which I would pass along to my bother. I would be very excited to win this giveaway.
Chris F.
For me, I would be most excited about the Dewalt Pliers Set. I don’t currently have compound action pliers, and these look super tough. As we always say, you can never have enough pliers around. Thanks for doing the giveaways and I’m looking forward to outdoor equipment reviews from you this Spring.
Dean
Palm driver…seems like a tool I’d love to try, but wouldn’t necessarily buy.
JoshVT
I’d be pretty excited about a few of them and put all to use. But the bosch measuring tool strikes me as cool
Andrew G
I would love the impact palm driver and have had my eyes on one for quite some time but having pulled the trigger. My wife and I started a small hobby business with small woodworking crafts and I think this would see a lot of usage!
The screwdriver and other misc hand tools would likely give to a family member since I am fortunate enough to have plenty.
Brad
Wow, that’s a great little giveaway. I’m most interested in the Rigid compact impact driver. I like unique tools, so that would fit perfectly into my tool set. I’ve also been looking for a pocket knife so that would solve that problem. The ifixit set would go on my electronics/soldering desk. The rest would go to friends and family who are in need of any of those particular tools
BobB
The ifixit kit . Great for my son who is studying Mechanical engineering in College.
Thanks for doing the giveaway!
Jehremy
I’d love that pocket knife; I have a not small obsession with pocket knives for some reason. The Klein bags would be useful in storing some of my loose hand tools. I’d give away the chalk line to a carpenter buddy of mine. The computer repair kit would go to another friend who would get more use out of it than I.
Justin
I’ve been following the blog for a while now and planned on registering for this contest. There were 5 tools on the list I’d be thrilled to have. However, after reading about so many of the good uses from so many of the other commenters, I’d rather the prize went to one of them instead of me.
Mark
For me it would be the palm impact driver – seems every time I turn around anymore I am working something in a small or tight space and I keep meaning to look into and pull the trigger on one of these but it keeps getting put on the back-burner after I’m done with the project until the next time it happens and then I write (yet another!) note to pick one up. My 16 ear old son would probably steal the multi-tool, case pocket knife and ratcheting screwdriver set as soon as I opened the package up (i hope he would anyway) as he keeps stealing similar ones from my tools.
John Dugan
Top of my list would be that Rigid screwdriver. I have their 12V drill and impact driver set and was debating that compact driver during this seasons holiday deals, but didn’t pull the trigger.
Edward Sichler
Just moved into townhome and the garage is a balnk slate in need of serious work. The tool which I am most excited about is the Bosch laser measuring device. I would love to have this for the needed measurements in this new garage to figure out what I will do in terms of various storage units, work bench setup, bike storage, etc. I will also share the wealth of this great giveaway package with my oldest daughter who lives in Austin and is big DIYer.
GMA15R
I am preparing to do some work in the crawl space beneath my house, running wires and fixtures between floor joists so the Ridgid palm impact driver would be put to good use. Many of the other tools would be doled out to my son and sons-in-law who each just got their own homes and are starting to build their tool collections – with help from dear old Dad.
TimCM
Wow! This is a great giveaway. I would personally use the iFixit tools for my personal electronics/computer repair and would also personally use the Klein canvas bag. All other items would be donated to the High School across the road from my work as they have a shop that is always in need of tools.
Christopher Nguyen
I would be excited about the Pliers mostly. I have looked around but never found a brand or set that felt right in my hands. hopefully those will.
Henry
Palm impact driver would be awesome for installing cabinets.
Phong Le
Awesome set of tools. I’m most excited for the chalk reel and laser distance measurer. I’m currently remodeling a laundry room and could put those to use right now. I’ve always eyed both of those items but could never pull the trigger. The compound pliers set would be nice upgrade from my current set. I’d giveaway the palm driver to my father. His finger dexterity isn’t great any more and he struggles to control speed with triggers.
DeeEyeWhyyyy
I’d be most excited to win the Ridgid 12v palm impact.. so my kids can use it and get more interested in tools!
Dave Leeds
I would get a LOT of use out of the Ridgid 12V Max impact driver! I end up having to take apart things construction workers put together with them, and trying to do that with regular drivers is an exercise in frustration and damaged screw heads.
Danny Ng
I would love the iFixit kit. Been working on more electronics projects and always have an old cellphone that could use some repairs. Thanks!
Rory
The Bosch laser measure is definitely the one I would most like to put into use! I’ve had my eye on that for awhile. It’s the sort of thing that would come in very handy in my line of work (sign fabricator) when measuring large spaces that a 30′ tape can’t always cover.
I have a couple of young installers that work with me as well who are still trying to establish themselves and get their own tools. I’m sure some of this kit would be stuff they’d be grateful for like the ratcheting driver and multitool.
Michael
I’m big into those pliers. Would definitely give the computer tools to my viking friend ELIIIIIII.
Bob
I’m excited about the Dewalt Pliers. I have crappy craftsman ones and can’t justify upgrading for the occasional home repair. I’d probably pass along the stanley stuff to my little brother that needs stuff for expanding his very limited tool kit.
Andy Ringsmuth
I would be excited for any of them, but in particular the laser measuring device. I keep meaning to buy one of those but haven’t yet. I’m also quite curious/excited about the Dewalt hand tools. I’m a Craftsman guy but am always open to trying something new from a solid company.
Thanks for doing this!
processwrench
The palm impact i’d like to see if it will replace my aging makita 12max as my edc driver, the bosch can replace the laser measurer that just died. i know someone who could use a set of pliers like the dewalts, so if i like the dewalts they get my current ones. The ifixit would replace a bunch of mangled up tools i’ve been meaning to replace.
David k
I would totally use the palm impact driver as I tend to work tight spaces and it would come in handy, thanks!
HV
I’d be most excited about the pocket knife. Just starting a collection myself and that one is just beautiful. All the other tools would likely be placed around the house for when I’m too lazy to go to the garage for the main tools…
John Lobert
I want the palm impact driver because I have been dying to drive a palm impact for years!
J.B.
Could really use the palm impact driver! I’d gift the chalk line and laser distance tool to my buddy who is a landscaper.
GregJL
I am always in need of good pliers/wire cutters
Rob
The Dewalt pliers would be nice to have as a spare set in the RV.
MB3
I would like the multitool as a EDC. It would save me time and effort. I could tighten that loose nut instead of going back to the shop for the rachet wrench set.
Mike L
The Bosch Distance Measuring Tool would probably be my favorite of the bunch. The palm impact driver would be a close second. What the hell am I saying, I’d really like it all. You can never have enough tools, and it’s always nice to pay them forward to someone who doesn’t have any.
Jon
I would rock the hell out of those cordless drivers for all the light assembly i do. Running drivers and sockets in the cordless impact works but those other tools look more attractive for close quarters. I could put off buying the new M12 ratchet a little longer with those.
Ian
The Ifixit Tool kit is the cream of this crop for me, though the Bosch measuring tool comes in a close second.
B
Everything in the giveaway seems to be something I’d like! In particular the DeWalt pliers. I have set of needlenose pliers as well as nippers from Stanley that my parents gave me many moons ago. Over the years I’ve janked them up so badly, cutting and bending various things, that they could do with an upgrade!
JHStan
I’d be most excited to win that pocket knife. That handle is beautiful
Adam M.
The iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit would be cool. I find i’m working on small things a lot and this kit looks to have a lot of versatility.
littlered70
Got my father the Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver for Christmas last hear and says it comes in real handy. Would like to try if for myself on many projects.
John S
I’d absolutely love the Klein bags. I seem to have a knack for failing to put things back into their proper places whenever I grab a random screwdriver or pliers for a project, but these would let me make a quick grab bag that at least keep things a bit tidier.
These giveaways are great, Stuart! I’ve enjoyed reading your content for the past five years!
Ryan
The compact impact driver could have saved me a lot of hassle on many occasions. That ONE tool you need for a narrow lane of problems.
Jason
The iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit would come in handy for working on electronics!
RickA
I’d be most excited excited to use those Dewalt Compound Pliers. It looks like they’d make those tougher plier jobs a lot easier!
Jim L.
The Bosch Laser measure would be what I’m most excited about. My sister-in-law is a interior decorator and I think she’d find it very useful to help her clients either imagine spaces or obviously measure spaces.
I live in Houston TX and would like to give away the rest of the tools to a family that was affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Robert
Count me in, I am most excited about the laser measurer. I have never had one, work alone a lot and would be useful instead of trying to use a long tape measure by myself.
Robert
Steve
I think the compact driver would be the most interesting to use.
Matt Roberson
Good looking batch of tools, can never have too many Klein bags to stuff stuff in!
Kevin W
Palm driver would definitely fit the bill for me! Love to get one…
MisterG
The Case knife would make me smile!
Robert
For myself I could use the laser distance finder. Always wanted to try one of those. I like to Dewalt pliers too. As for the iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit I would gift to my son. He’s a tinkerer to the max. Always taking things apart, even fixed his own hand-held gaming system cracked screen at the age of 12. Dang smart techie kids now days.
Dennis Thurman
Would use it all but I have a new sonin law remolding a house so who knows lol
Chris Lee
I need the Dewalt 3pc Compound Action Pliers Set. I just got done with a remdel and my old set (HF junk) got left in the rain :). That stanley multi tool will be great for my laundry room tool stash!
Kylem
I’d let my boys use the impact driver and ratcheting screwdriver, and leave mine alone. The ifix kit looks good to take a art and repair ths kid’s toys, like the wireless train set that is no longer made.
Kyle
Will
I would be most excited to try the Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver. Just bought a house and this would be a great first addition to the garage.
Joshua Latham
I would love to use the Case knife. I really like Case knives. I would also use the iFixit tool kit. I work a lot on computers and game controllers. Thanks for the giveaway and keep up the great site Stuart.
Ben
I am excited about the compound DeWalt Compount Action Pliers and the Bosch Laser Distance Measuring Tool.
Thank you for the great job you are doing!
Brando
I started a home flip and all the tools would serve me well. The distance finder would be extremely helpful with measuring out rooms for flooring! However the Palm impact driver looks like it could easily help drive screws in tight spaces, Cabinets come to mind!
Mark
Between my son’s classroom, he’s a teacher, his apartment, he’s moved out, a small tool-kit to take on my educational forays for the local Geological Society, and an upgrade to my off-brand laser measuring tool I doubt I’d even have much left to give away. Maybe stash some at my other volunteer gig at a food pantry.
Diamond Dave
Stanley Ratcheting Screwdriver has peaked an interest along with the Dewalt Compound Action Hand Tools. I don’t remember seeing the Ridgid Palm Impact this year in Depots Christmas Promos but possibly walked by it as I typically only purchase Dewalt 20v and Milwaukee 12v Cordless Tools.
Markmo56
I think the Dewalt pliers would be what I would use the most. Although, I’m sure I can find a use for all the other goodies!
Thomas P. Lally
These tools would be a great addition to my tool cart at my school. I teach hands-on repair skills to Inner-city Deaf and Hard of Hearing students,.
The tools we use now are whatever I bring in from home, so this would be a great start to building a collection.
My students are very enthusiastic about learning these skills. I think we all know how necessary they are.
Thanks.
Phillip
I am most excited to try out that cordless palm impact it seems like I am always working harder than I need to when in tight spots with different attachments or extensions that don’t seem to work and a right angle drill just don’t have the same power and control as an impact.
Corey
I’ve been eyeing that Ridgid palm driver forever lol can never have enough prescision drivers for electronics, and I’ve certainly got a handful of Klein bags long in the tooth that could stand replacing.
DC
I would be most interested in winning the Bosch GLM 35 Laser Distance Measuring Tool to layout my yard reconstruction project for 2018. I would use everything in the photos but that just means more honey-do projects for me than fiddiling with the tv remote or going to online tool sites.
Daniel Lawson
So I would use several of the tools, I would use the laser measure at work doing fire inspections. The dewalt pliers would go great in my box as I’m dumping a lot of old cheap stuff. The precision set I can give to my watchmaker friend. And some of the other things to my brother in law who bought his house last year.
Jason S.
I am really interested in the palm impact driver. I only have one other Rigid power tool, and I am really impressed. Most of my power tools are DeWalt. I’ve had multiple projects in the past two years where I need space saving tools like this (both automotive projects and decking/construction). Also, I am believe that Klein tool pouches are some to the best out there. I’ve found that they hold up extremely well with a lot of abuse.
Please consider a good guy like myself!
Eric
I would love the Bosch laser measuring tool. I never have anyone to hold the other end of my tape measure.
Sean
I’m interested in trying out the Rigid Impact Driver. Looks like it would come in handy for working in tight quarters. Especially inside of cabinets.
94GTCoupe
Those dewalt pliers look intersting, i could put those to good use.
Thanks for the chance to win!
Alan
I’d be most excited about the Case back pocket knife, but I could use everything in the giveaway. Great stuff!
Dave F.
I would be most excitd to win the Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver, this would really help me around the the house but most importantly helping finish my basement. I think everything here would get used, The case knife would be cool as well as the Klein tool bags. I hope I win and thank you for the opportunity, enjoy reading your posts.
Lenny
I was surprised to see a Case knife in your items, that is what I would be most exciting for me to win. My Grandfather got me hooked on Case and I have a good collection from him. Some I keep just as a collection but I have several that I use. My wife and I are handyman/woman and she is very in to crafts so she would love the tool bags and multi tool. All of the items would find a good home. I also would be happy to pay shipping cost.
Zhenchok
I would love to win the Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver, it would really help me finish my basement. I would love to win everything here and will put it to good use. The Case knife is awesome as well as the Klein bags. Thank you for the opportunity. Not sure why I tried posting this and it would not post, trying again.
Dan T
Most excited about the laser distance tool and the impact driver!
Alexander
I would love to add the pliers to my tool box. I have been looking at the Milwaukee set also. Who says you can’t have both.
Myles
Definitely the laser measure, always need an extra hand for hard to reach long tape measurement tasks, would save a lot of time and hands.
john
Could use most if not all in there… except for the gadgety multitool maybe… It’s a nice selection and I’m sure whoever it winds up going to will really find some good use out of these thanks for doing this.
Kevin McKenzie
I’d be most excited for the needle nose pliers; I’m very slowly improving a house that had been neglected for a while, and Friday I replaced the door foam seal. Getting the old one out was an incredible pain; it was really wedged in there. The compact impact driver I’ll give away; I bought one several years ago on recommendations from this site. Only Ridgid 12 V tool I have; I wish either Ryobi or Milwaukee would come out with something similar.
john
Those pliers look extra handy… sseriously lacking in some good pliers…
Michael Weleski
I’d be most excited to win the Ridgid palm impact driver. It has so many uses as I continue to improve my shop. I’d probably giveaway a the iFixit tool set to my brother in law who works with computers every day. Thank you for the opportunity!
Donald S Borle
I would be most exited to win the Ridgid 12v screwdriver because I’ve always been intrigued by the Push-to-drive system but own so many 18v impacts I could never justify the price point. That plus I got a fever and the only prescription is more power tools!
2nd would be the knife. I have an obsession with collecting quality steel knives. Adding to my collection for free would be amazing. Thanks for the opportunity Stu!
JamesAW
It looks like a good overall assortment to fill in some missing pieces in my tool cabinet. I have invested some in Dewalt cordless, so I am not thrilled with the addition of a different line, but on the other hand, I like my 12v dewalt for their combination of light weight and relatively good power for many tasks. I think the Rigid impact driver with it’s ability to be used in tight spaces would be very useful for some of the upcoming spring projects!
928'er
Wow!
Way to go Stuart! Lot’s of interest already.
I guess I’d be most interested in the Impact driver – hadn’t seen this model before, or the Case knife, or the iFixit kit, or the Bosch, or the Klein bags,…. You get the idea, I’ll find a use for it all.
Marco
Would like to try the Ridgid impact Palm driver. Would probably come in handy working between tight steel studs among other spots.
Joe
Wow, never seen this many comments. I’d love to get the Klein bags. I collect name brand bags, tool boxes etc. The rest will go to our local shop class and high school trade school, their budgets are always short for supplies. I love to help the next generation of framers, carpenters, finish guys…believe it or not there is a huge shortage of young guys/gals in the trades, especially framers……Thank you
MattJ
That Bosch distancing tool is what I would be most interested in. Been a fan of Bosch products and having high tech tools on a job-site like this is always a plus.
Grady
I’m in. I’ve been eye balling the Ridgid 12v Max Palm Impact Driver at my local HD for a good while now. It would fit right in with my other Ridgid 12v tools. Also the Dewalt Compound Action Pliers Set also on my wish list. But most of all the Case Back Pocket Knife. I use to own one very similar, it was my EDC or should i say my EDU (every day use) knife. It was my work, hunting, camping, fishing knife. We somehow got separated on a camping trip.
I miss that knife!
Michael Twik
I’m a huge fan of impact drivers. I have the M12 and love it. And also use 18 volt models on the job. This Rigid model would seem more ergonomically correct, putting your applied pressure directly over the driving shaft and fastener.
Kyle
I’d be most excited to use the Palm Impact Driver! Thanks Stuart!
Jim Felt
Wow. Normally I donate extra stuff to Habitat for Humanity’s Re-Store.
But this set is so wide ranging I’d give it all to my High School that’s got a full on vocational training wing. Actually two wings.
And maybe they wouldn’t miss the little Palm Driver? They’re kids. They’ll be fine without it.
What fun!
scott k
I like the Klein bags, it seems like i can never have enough of them.
Damon Eggling
The laser measuring tool would be awesome!
Paul K
The pliers, laser and impact would probably see the most use. Bought my first chalk line last summer, didn’t really like it, might be user error, this one would confirm 😉
Don’t know what i’d do with the bags, I suppose put something in them. Heavy hard things that destroy my boxes of things in ziplocks.
Would probably re-gift the knife, not really my style.
Jon A
I’d be most excited to win the iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit. I work at a place where I have to repair our company phones and tablets. I usually have to dig to find my small repair tools, this looks like a nice kit with well thought out storage.
williamo
My dad has a bunch of tools long in the tooth and need to be updated and replaced.
Alex
Strangely enough, the pliers are what caught my eye. The iFixit set would probably be really handy as well.
Mark
The Bosch laser distance measuring tool would be fantastic. Great giveaway.
Matthew Schulz
I would like to use the laser distance tool.
Josiah C
Id be most excited for the Ifixit kit, I really need a nice little tool kit for in my office and go bag.
RC WARD
The pocket knife is the one tool in your list that I would use. Looks like a cool knife. As for the rest you ask? They would be passed on to others that could use them much more than me.
MarkT
I could really use the Dewalt set of pliers. My pliers are old and I can’t easily cut tough things like small nails when needed. I could use most of the other items also and what I don’t use I’ll give to me brothers.
I get a lot of good info from your site.
Thanks for having giveaways!
Loadre
I really like that ballistic nylon bag. I’ll probably throw all my Sawzall blades or awls/pointy tools in there. Or my collection of scraper blades.
Kimber Janney
Great set of tools; I think the Ridgid Palm Impact Driver is the most intriguing
Luke A
The laser distance meter is something I’ve wanted to splurge on but haven’t… Yet. The pliers I’d give to my 10y old daughter (w/ the understanding daddy can borrow as needed) She has been really into making jewelry and sculpture out of wire and would love to have these to work on bigger gauge projects
Doug
I think the palm driver would be useful working between floor joists.
Mark C
The dewalt pliers and rigid impact look interesting and I would like to give them a try.
Mark C
Ridgid Impact (sp)
Ariel
The Klein bags seem to be very nice! I love buying tools at bargain prices; it would be great to get more tools for free!
HS
I am excited about Klein bags!
Cristobal
Would love to play around with some of this stuff here in this bundle. Long time lurker on your site.
Chris Cruz
The tiny Ridgid impact driver would be what I’d be most excited about. I can think of at least 3 projects where that would have helped me.
Mark J
The Rigid Palm impact driver would be very helpful in compact spaces.
Mark G
Definitely the laser distance finder. Never used one, but if it’s accurate, I could see it becoming a favorite tool very quickly.
John fal
?Pretty good choices, you make it hard on a fellow. I’m sure I’d give a few away.?
The rest would be mine! ? . All fun set aside its pretty cool that you still have these giveaways. Love that Dewalt plier set and the Stanley fold out looks cool. It’s all handy stuff.
Justin D
For some reason I just really like that Klein bag. Its so classic. I’d love to win that alone, and everything else is a nice bonus.
Dean in Des Moines
It’s the pliers that interest me. And maybe the fixit kit. I work on small stuff with odd fasteners at times. But that Ridgid thing? That’s best in someone else’s bag. What were they thinking?!?
Trey B
I would be most excited to win the Bosch leader measurer
MonsterDon
I do, I do! I want to win all of those cool tools.
Erik
A great selection of tools. The ifixit kit would be very handy for some of my upcoming electronics projects. The compact drivers would be great for working around my old sailboat.
Dave Cannon
I’m just starting out soldering and that one multi kit looks helpful. Also a zip up bag is so under rated, much less 2 zip up bags.
Reijo
Most excited about the iFixIt set, I have a couple older laptops and phones sitting around begging to be opened up that I haven’t had the tools to work on yet.
Wildxplora
Seems like so many people are excited by the Bosch lazer measure, as am I, but there is so much to appreciate in this grab bag of tool goodies it all would go to good use by any one of us…good luck to us all.
John Sullivan
Wow, and if I may speak on behalf of all entrants, THANK YOU in advance!
If I had already won and received these items, I would probably put the iFixit kit into service first. As in, I’m going to be tossing similar tools into a wrap in the next 20 minutes and will be using it for the rest of the afternoon. And there isn’t a single item in that group photo that I wouldn’t put to use within the week! But I think the item I’d be most excited about is the pocket knife, because I can never justify buying one for more than a couple of dollars and have always wanted an upgrade from the dollar store junk that is my EDC pocketknife.
Jason Young
I’m in the process of breaking down a lot of old electronics and scavenging the parts. The iFixit tools would be great for that, I’ve got some similar items, but I am hard on the spudgers and precision screwdrivers.
I also have to play with the Rigid palm driver every single time I go to Home Depot, so that one appeals greatly too 🙂
Kunhan Lee
I’d be most excited about the impact driver, i’ve been looking for a smaller one
Sam
The laser distance finder and pliers and rigid impact look like great tools
David Burdsal
I have had 10 back surgeries, 18 surgeries total, so I don’t do any heavy lifting work anymore. These smaller tools are exactly what I need! I try to do everything with the tools I have but they are all still the heavier, 18V tools. That Rigid cordless palm impact driver would be a great help! And the laser measurer would be so incredibly wonderful as I would not have to go back and forth over and over which would allow me to get more done in the time allotted to me by my back/neck. The ratcheting screw driver, the iFixit tools, the small bags, all perfect for me! All would help me so incredibly much!
Thank you sir for all you do. I wish you had your own tv show!!!
Ringsteel
or a Youtube channel? yeah that’s the way to go!
Tommy Haberstroh
I am most excited for the Dewalt pliers set, as I have been needing some good pliers. The compact chalk line would also be put to good use. After that the Ridgid impact driver and the Bosch laser measure seem like things that would be really useful when you need them. The Case pocket knife also looks awesome.
Tyler Thein
Interested in trying out the compound pliers…never used one before.
Don H
Could reallu use the palm nailer for an upcoming project in tight quarters
GKnap
The ifixit kit would be great as I spend a lot of time working on computers.
John804
The laser distance finder and rigid impact would be quite useful in finishing my shop area.
shade barrett
i am rewiring my barn this summer and these would come in handy
James R.
Man, people come out of the WOODWORK when giveaways are going on.
Anyway, my friend and I have both purchased new (to us) homes in the last 4 months. So, I’d definitely be splitting this haul with him.
Thanks for running the contest!
Edgar M.
I always wanted to try the laser distance measurement tool, I think it would be a great addition to my toolbag
Austin
Palm impact to get into tiny places!
Jared
I would use the Ridgid palm driver for an upcoming SYS port cabinet build.
[email protected]
That Ridgid impact driver is a decent tool but that bocsh laser is a really great tool
Broderick J Robinson
This would be sweet. I hope to get that impact!
Bill Naylor
I’ve always been interested in trying a laser measurer but haven’t pulled the trigger on one yet. The bags also look very useful for organizing misc things that end up in the tool box.
TGRRAG
A man can’t have too many tools. I’d love to use these!
Jonah G
The pliers set caught my eye. I have an older pair of compound action linesman pliers that I really like, but it’s a bit rusty these days.
MV
Great set of tools that I would love to have around the house for DIY projects. Thank you for the opportunity.
Marc
The iFixit set and the Bosch Laser both would be very handy additions to my growing tool collection. Thank you for doing this!
Gary M Crompton
I would be most excited to get the compound pliers. As I age I have found I need all the help I can get with strength. The rest would probably go to my daughter for her husband. They are just starting out and he could use the tools. Thanks for all you do.
Eli
For science!
MNBska
Palm nailer for sure!! Building a deck.
Bernie L.
I think the tool that is most interesting to me is the Ridgid driver. I have never used something with such a small footprint with any sort of power so that tool intrigues me, beyond that a few of those other tools would find a home with one of my friends that desires to fix things but hasn’t spent the money to build a kit yet. I love the blog and the giveaway plan!
Chris
I’d really like the ifixit kit
Tim McGrew
Interested in seeing how the palm nailer works out.
Charles
Believe it or not, I’m most excited about the mini screwdriver. I build lots of R/C kits and it would be very helpful!
Albert H
Great collection of little tools. You can’t have enough of small tools for specific tasks!
mwk
Pocket knife! I lose pocket knives at an alarming rate. Also, gave my dad one of those Bosch laser tapes and he loves it. Would be nice to have one of my own.
David
I would definitely put the 12v screwdriver to use. But the pliers are something I need to help replace some that have not lasted.
Paul Okray
I would be donating these tools to the Tech. Ed. department at the school where I teach.
Thom
I would most look forward to using the case backpocket knife but the Klien bags would be handy for all the smaller odds and ends I’ve aquired.
Jim Muncie
I’m excited about the Rigid Impact driver. Seems to be a handy little tool.
James
I could use the Klein tool bags. I seem to have items that need a home in other areas.
Ken W
Hoping to replace a few stolen tools for brother-in-law and any extras would be kept for a future kid’s tool loaner program I would like to set up.
garyn
I want the ridgid palm impact driver
Adam
Who doesn’t need more tools? They’re like cash – you can never have enough. A good pocket knife goes a long way and those Dewalt pliers would be a welcome upgrade to some Harbor Freight rusters I’ve been fighting with for years…
Neil
That Ridgid palm impact driver looks awesome!
Chris
I would love to win the pliers, actually.
Nolan M
Thanks for doing this. The Dewalt pliers would get some immediate use.
Craig T.
The ifixit tool kit would be great for when I need to upgrade my computer components. Other hand tools are always useful for tasks around the house.
Bcgreer
Half my job is fixing computers, so the ifixit tool kit and the pliers would be perfect for my electronics desk.
Lauvon davis
I sure could use the Rigid pPalm driver. Being handicapped it would help prolong the amount of time I could spend on a project without tiring out. I loaves this website.
Lauvon davis
I love the website. Darn spellcheck
Cody
I would like to try out the Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver.
CaseDawg
I can put these to use.
Doug
Most interested in the dewalt tools, ifixit set, and the Klein bag. Thanks, Stuart!
Jason. C
The dewalt tools, i have a drill and impact driver, now i wonder how their hand tools are in terms of quality and performance!
Chris H
About to build a new house and these would come in handy.
Chris
I would use the Dewalt pliers the most for around the house. They are always hand to have and when you can add extras of anything the better.
Chuck Hartley
I like the HD little impact.
Larry
Thank you for the chance.
I am most interested in the Bosch laser distance measure.
Wbrzo716
Klein tools bags are great for small parts and tool storage.
Nathan S
That right angle impact would have been very useful on several projects. The right angle adapters I’ve used to this point are either useless (won’t transfer enough torque or won’t fit in a tight space) or hard to get normal to the screw to prevent cam-out or stripping. In fact, I may just scrape together some cash to buy one even if I don’t win it.
The Klein bags are great for the reasons listed. I also would have an immediate need for the iFixit kit.
I have the basic version of the Bosch laser tape, and it’s great! I’d probably pass this one to my dad or a brother. My dad also loves Case knives.
Joseph Mandel
Man I could use that laser range finder right now. I’m always in need of more pliers and who doesn’t love a case pocket knife. I’d love to have the Klein tool bags. That would be my favorite and most used.
toolio
The ridgid tool would be really useful to work on the car – too many busted knuckles. And the laser tool looks pretty sweet too
h11m1vn
I would be thrilled if I could finally cross that Bosch laser measuring tool off my wish list! Thanks
Jacob L
Definitely the palm driver
Michael H
Definitely the case knife….oh yeah, definitely the knife…..hmmmm….the Bosch laser would work. Oh and the Dewalt threesome too.
Daniel
Nice set of hand tools
Daniel Jacobsen
I’m excited about the Klein bags and the pliers
John
I’m all about those klein bags for organizing small stuff in my tool bag.
Sammy
I’d really love that palm driver and laser tape.
Thi
I’d be interested in using the ratcheting screw driver. I’ve never had one before.
kevin
Thank you for giving away tools
Akbar
This is truly a multipurpose tool set. Would love to have these in my tool bag. Especially the iFixit one
Eric McCormick
Wow this is a nice late stocking stuffer lot. I hope I win. I have been flirting with buying many of these items but have tried to keep my spending in check.
King Nikon
Everything in here would be amazing to use in many situations. Palm driver and Stanley tool for tight spots, compound pliers for easier cutting and gripping, and you can never go wrong with a pocket knife to add to your collection. But best of all, the really nice Klein bags for storing all your miscellaneous bits and a sweet Bosch laser!
Matt
This is a great combo. I really like the looks of that ratcheting screwdriver.
sghouse10
I could really use the ifixit tool kit in my work and i don’t have any compound action pliers so would like to try those out. thx
Art
Palm driver!
David Black
I’d love the bosch measuring device to take some quick room measurements for estimating.
Brandon L
I’m a school teacher and am a bit of a hobbyist. I would greatly appreciate some nice tools for both hobby work and various DIY projects around the house.
Gray
I would be most excited to get the Kline Tool bags. My Grandfather was a Master Electrician and I have some of His Kline tools. I would also be excited to get the Bosch Distance Laser. I have some projects I could use it one. I would give away the Stanley items.
Milo
Tool most excited about is Stanley ratchet set. Constantly in need of a ratcheting/catch all set away from garage. This would be perfect addition to a basement or car tool kit. For when those projects come up either away from home or when not want to make it all the way back to my garage work shop.
Jason S
I run the MakerSpace at Northwestern Michigan College. I’d love to put these tools in our tool crib for use by our students. They would love them as they built various projects and rovers! Great site!
An
Palm driver!
Peter Olsen
I’m getting into more classic pocket knives so the Case knife would be tops, but I’ve got great uses in mind for everything!
Dane
These are great tools! I would be most excited about the pliers set! I would use most of the tools but would probably give my brother in law the iFixIt tool set.
Chad Brink
The pliers… I lust for them. Soon to be doing a remodel project with electrical work. Shoot, I lust for the measuring laser also. I’m weak!
Geoff
The IFixIt Pro Tech tools look good. I’ve been meaning to update my computer repair tools.
Michael Eibling
Well, I’m working on remodeling my house. I think most of these tools would be really handy
Alex T
My tool box is overflowing and I need an excuse to buy another.
Grasshopper Ranch
I would be most excited about the laser measuring tool. I have never tried one!
Thanks for all your reviews and notifications
Mike R
It would just be fun to play with Bosch laser tool.
Mark
Can always use another precision screw driver set!
Patrick Arthur
Sign me up for the Dewalt 3pc Compound Action Pliers Set
Igor
Wow , so much good tools! And I always want to try Palm Impact Driver .
OBDave
Wow – awesome set of giveaways! Lots of cool stuff here, but I’m probably most curious about the Ridgid mini impact and the Bosch measuring tool.
As for the giveaways, I’d (grudgingly) probably give the pliers to the newest guy on my crew, who’s slowly been building up his own set of tools and springs for DeWalt everything whenever he can. The Stanley stuff probably goes to my other employee, but those Klein bags look nice – I got a 3-pack of Milwaukee bags recently to bring some order to my big jobsite box, and I’m already looking at more…
Kyle
The laser measurer and the Fixit kit look the most interesting. Oh and the compact driver I have been eyeing at the HD. Keep up the good work.
Jesus Sanchez
The distance measuring tool will help when dimensioning building for drafting remodel projects for clients
DML
I’ve been itching to get my hands on one of those Bosch laser measuring devices and I’ve got just the kit to put those DeWalt pliers in.
Michelle Ward
I’m excited to use the stanley pistol-grip ratcheting screwdriver around the house. I’ve got jobs around here that need all kinds of tools.
Nick W.
The palm driver would be great for working in tight spaces. The stanley folding multi tool has my interest peaked.
Wade
While there are several nice items in this giveaway I do like that pocketknife. I have a special affinity for them. The one I carry daily is the one my wife gave me more than 30 years ago! Also the Bosch distance measuring tool would be a welcome add to my toolbox!
Bill
I would love the ifixit tool set as I like to refurbish laptops and work on computers as well.
WingMantis
I’d be most excited for the Palm Driver since I have a 12v Ridgid drill and impact driver set already.
One of my cousin’s is a linesman so I would definitely give him that blue Klein Tools bag.
I might give the dewalt pliers to my dad, or give him the set that I have now.
I would probably pass the Stanley screwdriver and multi-tool to someone else.
Bump
I need pliers but everything else looks great too.
Brian
I would be excited about the impact tool and the pocket knife since mine had been lost for years. I am a new home owner and have very few tools, so I could have already used and would plan to use all of these tools.
Mike
This looks like a wonderful set of tools! Could use them all
James
I’d be most excited to win the Dewalt 3pc Compound Action Pliers Set
Ron
this looks a awesome assortment of tools that i would love to have.
Andrew Scriven
With me remolding the my house. I could use a lot of this stuff, but the iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit is what i would use about every day. I have my 3d printer running about 9hr every day. The leaser measure would be very nice too. Thanks for the chance to win these nice tools.
R Dogg
I’d love to glom the ifixit set and rRigid hand driver for myself, along with the Klein bags for storage in the car.
The other tools I’d split between my 8 year old son, my brother, who could always use something or other, and my neighbor across the street who has no tools to speak of.
TIA, come on lucky 7!
DMH
These might be a nice addition to my work tool bag.
Dustin
I’d love the Bosch laser. I’d also love to give my Dad the Case pocket knife. They’re hard to find these days.
SaskiFX
I’d love the Pro Tech Toolkit, I do IT work and having a nice one stop set would be great.
Matt Holland
Just started on a new house for my family. This would come in handy!
Bret J
I’d be interested in the palm impact driver.
ChicagoJeff
The Bosch GM 35 will help get my wife off my back since I have to measure and correct the bad carpet job done by the “professionals” down here in Tampa.
Kevin Peck
I would probably enjoy the laser distance measuring tool the most with the palm driver a close second, lots of plans for the spring season gonna need some of these tools one way or another!
Chris Gutierrez
I think i would be most excited to find uses for the palm impact. As for what would be given away, if to my kids count, the canvas bags. I would probably ship off some of the hand tools to my brother or brother in law.
conrad
Along with your great reviews this would really make me happy that I signed up to get your emails
Mike
I’ve had a Bosch laser measure in my amazon cart for months, just waiting to pull the trigger… the convenience goes with out saying, but my frugal mindset is that if I have various tapes to get the job done, why buy?
Adrian A
Laser range finder. Love to have 1
Ryan Jacob
I’d love to have the laser distance measurer, the various pliers, the ifixit tool kit and the Stanley multi-tool! I’d probably give the palm impact and tool bags to my mom because she could use something like that for her small projects.
I almost bought one of those laser distance measurers from Amazon during the holidays but decided to hold off so this would be perfect for my tool kit.
Jason Y
Man this is a great giveaway series!~ looking at that bosch laser measuring as the prime item no doubt have not had one yet would not mind to try.
Brad D
I recently purchased a old farm house and any tools would be used in remodeling. Any duplicates would go to my siblings.
Max
I’d love that Bosch measuring tool – I’m definitely a “measure five times, still cut it wrong” kinda person at the moment, so that would help me immensely. Thanks for these giveaways!
Eugene
Looks like a great set of tools. Looking forward to adding these to my tool kit.
Bradley Hanstad
Ridgid 12V Palm Impact Driver probably is my biggest favorite of this set, closely followed by the ifixit kit. I really like the idea of a compact comfortable powered driving tool for convenience. Thank you so much for having these giveaways!
longwood8
I can literally use every item in this set.
Tyler
I would most be interested in the Rigid Driver, because I want to try it out. Next I think the Klein pouches will be used most. The Nylon pouch will match the case I bought for my Klein multimeter. I need more space to keep my various probes and leads. I’d probably give away the Bosch Laser Measure (already have this one) and the chalk reel (don’t need two) to a member of a Maker Facebook Group I’m in. I’d probably find another lightly used tool of mine to throw in to the lot.
Pickle
These giveaways are awesome. I appreciate you doing this. Would be a great way to add a few tools to my garage.
Tony Berger
Never seen a palm driver before, I’d love to try one out.
Mike K
Building a doghouse, but could use the Klein bags for treats.
Larry
The Rigid Palm Impact wrench would be may favorite. The rest of the tools I would donate to the Milwaukee Makerspace.
Ed Northway
I’d be most excited to win the Bosch Laser Distance Measuring tool. I’m nearsighted, and staring directly into the laser on the GLM-35 has been shown perform perfect LASIK.
Jared S
I could use the Bosch laser measuring to replace the generic (and not particularly accurate) one that i have.
Joe Chee
iFixit 70pc Pro Tech Tool Kit is one of my wish lists. I would use it for my small electronic projects, or I could fix computers and small electronic devices.
Eric. H.
Definitely some items in there I would want for myself, but most of it would go to my wife, my son and my best freind
Eric Hutton
Ridgid driver
Scott
I could really use those DeWalt pliers and the iFixit tool set!
Matt
Portable tool storage is something I lack and the laser measure would make calculating for materials much quicker.
Kipp
I have been looking at laser measuring devices and would like to test out the Bosch GLM 35 Laser Distance Measuring Tool. I have always borrowed a coworkers rather than purchase my own. Also that iFixit tool looks cool. Thanks.
Jose
Any of these tools would compliment my tool back so well. Especially the computer kit.
Brian
I’d really like to win the Bosch laser, I’ve been in the market for a few months but haven’t been able to pull the trigger.
Matthew Mills
That palm impact and everything else would help me stock my garage and make it so my wife doesn’t get mad at me for buying more tools!
Ryan
I’d be most excited about the Case knife. It would be great for edc.
Steve Henry
I’m liking the Case knife! But the Ridgid driver would be handy also.
Chris
Would love to have the Rigid palm impact. Does indeed seem very useful for tight spaces. Thank you for the giveaway!
LEONARD
Would love love love to have these tools ,but can’t afford .Please you would make me the happiest man in the world with these tools .could really be a big help on some upcoming jobs I have lined up
brent
This would be a great giveaway to win as most of the tools are things I didn’t know I needed until I saw them and went back to read the reviews.
Brian Willis
I would love to win these for my son. Thank you.
Shannon J
What I would look to use most would be the IFixit kit as I have one already I use for work and would like to be able to keep one there.
R.Ifky
I’m a maintenance tech so I’m always looking for anything to make the job easier
RM
Bosch laser tape measure….no more getting the wife to help me. Seems like a win, win. ” It’s a 121″ and 5 little lines.”
Scaryone
Would love the laser range finder
Scaryone
Would love the laser range finder and pliers
Will Fletcher
This is my kind of motley assortment of stuff. I can legitimately envision using all of these. I only have one of these items currently (the Dewalt wire cutters) but I can attest that they’re excellent enough that I’m eager to own their siblings. Plus, if I have two, I can run around with one set in each hand terrorizing people with my small but dangerous nipping claw hands. (I don’t judge your dreams, so don’t judge mine.) The tool I’d be most eager to use would be the palm impact. I’ve only recently added an impact to my stable of assorted cordless tools and I can’t believe I’ve lived this long without one. An impact suitable for tighter spaces? I AM IN.
DDS
I could use these tools in my projects, especially pliers!
Alexander Bley
The laser measure is on my tool wish list
Jeff
I’d love to have the ifixtit kit. I am always working on things where it would be helpful!
JOSE ANTONIO
The compound action pliers
Josh A
I have to say that I would probably get the most use out of the compound action pliers set with the work that I do in my handyman business, closely followed by the multi tool, it’s handy to have something that I could have in my pocket or on my belt for a quick repair.
Additionally I am very intrigued by the tech tool kit, that it something that has been on my “to be acquired” list for quite some time.
Several of the tools would probably shared with either of my two brothers or my dad for use on our family farm. I know my brother has been eyeing the Bosch laser measures for a while after I got one.
Travis Roberts
My favorite would Bosch laser, Ridgid diver and dewalt pliers and klein bags too. I would find use for all of it from give way as gifts or use them my self. They are very nice tools. I would find many use out all of those tools.
Thanks for giveaways
Great website
Jon Yoder
I would love to win this bundle! It would be put to good use during upcoming home remodeling projects. I would love to have those pliers.
Erik
I’ve got a collection of 18v Ridgid tools but I’ve been feeling the desire to get something with drill/drive capability but in a right angle and/or smaller form factor for tight spaces. It looks like several of the palm driver fits the bill.
The measuring laser would also be nice for small construction projects I’m getting started on.
Alan D
I’d be most excited to win the Bosch laser distance measurer, I’ve never used one of these and am curious what all it is capable of. Second favorite would be the the Case knife, I normally wear a knife with a clip, but I still like them anyways.
Travis Dillon
Hello
I think the I’d keep the impact for myself. Only because I think the kids are getting a new playground this spring. It would come in handy for that build. And I might upgrade my pliers as well.
The klein bags and knife would be gifted to my father. And I’d probably be able to gift the rest of the tools as well. Thanks for this opportunity and the great content you provide!
JoeJalbe
I can’t pick just one because I love tools. All tools!
Seriously, I’d most likely give everything away except the knife and laser measuring tool. Those would come in handy at work. Well, the palm impact is neat too… that may be a keeper.
Owegeezus
In need for a laser measurer and would love to throw the pliers set in the truck for whenever I may need them
Bruce
It would be hard to say just one, everything would really work well to put in one of the tool bags to leave in the house so we wouldn’t to take things from the garage every time we needed to tighten something or take something apart. From the ifixit tools, plier set, multi-tool and the Stanley Screwdriver. Again all would be useful for an inside tool kit.
Great website and look forward to the emails. The problem is it feeds my addiction to tools!!!
tom reau
would enjoy trying them all
Matthew Otwell
I’d probably use the ifixit and the right angle driver most often. I’d give the multitool to a friend.
Matthew Otwell
To be more clear, I am alway needing to fix my daughters’ broken electronics and jewelry, etc, so the ifixit kit would be very useful. I have had the Bosch laser tool on my wishlist at Amazon since I read the review here, and somehow still didn’t get it for Christmas. I am in need of several sets of pliers around the house and these would probably become the laundry room set.
JasonJ
I’d love to get my hands on the Ridgid Palm Impact Driver. I’ve seen them online but I cannot justify buying one when I already have a great Dewalt impact.
Brian
Would love the bags and the iFixit tools! Have many projects that I do often that would make use of these.
Drew
I would be most excited for the Rigid palm impact driver for those tough spots.
Josh
The Laser distance tool – cause lasers are awesome!
Eric H
I would like the Ridgid 12V Max Palm Impact Driver. That looks like a great driver.
The Dewalt 3pc Compound Action Pliers Set looks good too. I have been doing some wiring lately and the Kobalt pliers are starting to show some wear.
Jeff Martindale
The Rigid 12V Palm Nailer would be my first choice as my pneumatic Palm Nailer just died on me. These are perfect for the farm.
Richard Beels
i would most enjoy the ifixit drivers since i’m the family IT guy and the nephews and nieces are always breaking something…
vans
I’m most interested in the Bosch laser, but all are welcome in my shop!
FD
The palm impact driver looks to be perfect for all those tight spots where my regular drill and driver can’t fit!
Steven Gaertner
i would be excited for the pliers and distance finder
Benjamin
I’d love to have the Ridgid Palm Driver. It will replace a lot of manual screwing for me…
And the iFixit Tool Kit may be a promise of a new life for some broken beloved gadgets in my drawer.
I’m also a bit excited about the Stanley Chalk Reel. I’ve never own one, and I expect it to be rather useful to me.
Michael Woods
We purchased a new home 2 years ago and are slowly renovating. Upcoming projects include installing new flooring and backyard fencing so the Bosch Laser Distance Measuring Tool is something I would really like to win.
Ivelisse W.
I am really hoping to add the Rigid Max Palm Impact Driver to our tool collection. I see it as being widely used in our home with a number of projects. Thanks
Patrick T
Definitely the laser measuring tool, though I can see a few ways to put the palm impact driver to use.
Dave Andrews
I’d love to win this. Believe it or not, I’m probably most excited by the pliers and the small ridgid impact. I just recently bought a home and have a need for a number of these tools.
The laser measurer, I just recently bought one so that I will give to my aunt who does all the work around the house, you should see the outdoor porch she built and also the kitchen cabinets.
Stanley locking tool, to my Cousin, he’s in the boy scouts so knife with multitool function is perfect for him.
I’d give the bags away to my friends, I know what they’d use them for. Gaming and odds and ends.
I’d keep the iFixit kit, I’m a computer professional, so always in need of that type of thing.
The snap line will be great for my planned projects.
The t-handle kit, will probably go to a friend who works on his motorcycles.
The pocket knife? I’ll have here at work for the stuff everyone is always stealing scissors for.
Silvia
I would love to win this to give to my husband. He could then finally get started on all the projects he keeps telling me he will get to 🙂
The pocket knife would be fantastic for his new job! He just started working for a tool company .
Dmitriy
I’d be excited to get the dewalt pliers set. Love dewalt!
Blake Paine
Would love the Bosch laser! I would use it every day in the film business.
Paul M.
The Bosch laser measurer, and rigid driver, would be great for a home do-it yourself kind of guy like me.
Kayla Klontz
I would be most excited the multi tool, my hubby has wanted one for awhile. He would love doing home repairs on things with these tools!
Matthew Johnson
The ratcheting screw driver kit and the iFixit set would be a great addition to my tool box and make it much easier to fix the small things my kids need fixed.

I’d be excited to win the Dewalt compound pliers. I’d use them at work mostly, as we seem to be short on tools. I’d bet they can cut steel banding well enough. The Case knife is attractive as well. Quite a classic look it has. I’d see if any of my co-workers and neighbors could use the rest, as I would like to see them properly used. Thank you for this offer.

I’d probably most like to try the palm impact driver, but I’d put all of them to use for sure!

My wife is an interior designer and keeps losing and/or breaking tape measures. She could really use the Bosch laser measuring tool. And I like building an taking computers apart, so would bet the tech tool set to good use.

I’d be excited about the palm-impact driver, the small size would probably get into some of the tight spaces on the theatre sets I help build

Of what’s listed here I most interested in the laser distance tool and the electronics repair kit since I don’t have either. I’m sort of interested in the ridgid palm driver as I’ve not used one.
Meanwhile I will most likely give the pliers to a friend that doesn’t have any good wire tools

I could use almost all of them for a few upcoming projects.

I could really use the iFixit Tool kit
